Congratulations on your purchase of the INOVA X5 LED Floodlight. Now you can experience the brilliant power and ruggedness of a police tactical floodlight and a search and rescue quality safety light all in the palm of your hand—anytime, anywhere. Whether it’s navigating the most extreme expedition to simply illuminating a campsite, the INOVA X5 LED Floodlight just may be the most rugged, versatile and most useful lighting product you will ever own.

SWITCH OPERATION

The INOVA X5 has a patent pending threeposition operating switch cap:

To engage the constant on mode,the battery cap must be completey screwed (clockwise) into the main body tube (battery compartment).

From the constant on position, one-half revolution counter-clockwise turn will engage the momentary on. To activate the intermittent mode, depress and hold the rubber button end-cap for as long as light is required.

One-half counter-clockwise turn from the momentary on will lock the switch in constant off mode, rendering the light inoperable and safe for travel or storage.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

The INOVA X5 requires two (2) 123A lithium batteries. The red and infared models require one (1) 123A lithium battery.

To replace batteries:

Remove the switch cap by completely unscrewing it counter-clockwise.

Insert the batteries with the positive (+) ends up, toward the switch cap.

Replace the switch cap and turn clockwise to secure.

MAINTENANCE

Once every six months clean the threads on the main body tube and inside the switch cap with a dry cloth, and apply a thin coat of silicone grease to the threads and O-ring.

*While the X5 is water resistant, it is not designed to be used as a submersible flashlight (i.e. a diving light).

LIMITED LIFETIME PRODUCT WARRANTY

Emissive Energy Corp. warrants this light to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the life of the light, except in Germany, where law restricts product warranties to a maximum of ten years. If your light has a manufacturer’s defect covered by our warranty, we will repair or replace this light, at our option, without charge when it is returned to an authorized service center or to Emissive Energy Corp.

EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not extend to any light damaged by alteration, misuse or battery leakage. Battery expiration and battery leakage are excluded from the warranty and are not considered to be defects in the material or workmanship of the light.

Specifically, Emissive Energy Corp.disclaims any responsibility for incidental or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions in the United States, Australia, and Canada do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages and/or limitations on transferability, therefore the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

In the United States, Australia, and Canada,this warranty gives you specific legal rights; and you may have other rights which vary from province to province, state to state or country to country. This warranty does not affect the statutory rights of purchasers in the European Union, Norway, Switzerland, or Germany with regard to legal warranty claims, nor in France resulting from the legal warranty against hidden defects.

X5 color spectrum

The X5 is available in two body finishes, titanium and black, and the X5 is available in several pure, wavelengthspecific colors for different lighting situations. White is best for all-around use. Green offers the highest visibility. Red won’t hinder the eyes’ night vision. Blue enhances contrast. The first ultra-bright handheld UV solution, the X5 UV model, makes expensive stationary UV lights obsolete.
