ZUR KALIBRIERUNG

Jeder Alkoholtester, der bei ACE Instruments gekauft wurde, kann auch von ACE Instruments kalibriert werden. Selbstverständlich kalibrieren wir auch Geräte, die woanders gekauft wurden, sofern diese Geräte baugleich zu den von ACE Instruments vertriebenen Geräten sind.

Sie sehen das Fälligkeitsdatum der nächsten Kalibrierung am KalibrierAufkleber auf Ihrem Alkoholtester. Wenn der Aufkleber fehlt, dann sollte die Kalibrierung 6 Monate nach dem Kauf-datum erfolgen: z.B. Kaufdatum: 13.05. = nächste Kalibrierung am 13.11. und danach am 13.05. des folgenden Jahres.

WARUM IST EINE KALIBRIERUNG NOTWENDIG?

Die Kalibrierung muss nicht zwingend vorgenommen werden, die Genauigkeit des integrierten Sensors nimmt jedoch ohne Kalibrierung stetig ab und zusätzlich erlischt die Garantie, wenn die Kalibrier-Intervalle nicht eingehalten werden.

WELCHE FAKTOREN DIE MESSGENAUIGKEIT BEEINFLUSSEN

• Je öfter das Alkoholtestgerät verwendet wird, desto stärker verschiebt sich der Nullpunkt.

• Bei hohen Alkoholkonzentrationen verschiebt sich der Nullpunkt verstärkt.

• Bei wenig bis gar nicht genutzten Geräten nimmt die Empfindlichkeit des Sensors ebenso ab.

ACE Instruments empfiehlt, mindestens ein Mal (1x) pro Woche einen Test mit dem Alkoholtester durchzuführen, unabhängig davon, ob man Alkohol getrunken hat. Zum Erhalt der Messgenauigkeit sollte das Gerät außerdem regelmäßig kalibriert werden.

WICHTIGE HINWEISE ZUR TESTDURCHFÜHRUNG UND ZUR SELBSTEINSCHÄTZUNG

Nach dem letzten Schluck Alkohol sollte man mindestens 15 Minuten warten, da sich noch Restalkohol in der Mundhöhle befinden kann, der das Messergebnis beeinflusst. Rauchen sollte vor einem Test ebenso vermieden werden, da Zigarettenrauch dem Sensor schadet.

Für jeden Test sollte man ein neues Mundstück verwenden – nicht nur aus hygienischen Gründen, sondern auch, weil ein bereits benutztes Mundstück das nächste Messergebnis beeinflussen kann. Im Mundstück könnte sich Restalkohol befinden, der bei einem erneuten Gebrauch desselben Mundstückes das neue Testergebnis beeinflusst (damit würde z.B. bei einer nüchternen Person eventuell eine Alkoholisierung angezeigt werden).

Wenn am Display „FLO“ angezeigt wird, dann war die abgegebene Atemprobe nicht ausreichend oder sie wurde zu früh beendet. Pusten Sie bei Ihrer Atemprobe zirka 4 Sekunden konstant und am besten so, als ob Sie ohne Ton pfeifen würden. Die Atemprobe ist beendet, sobald ein zweifacher Piepton zu hören ist.

Wenn dieselbe Person 2 Tests hintereinander ausführt, dann sollte sie zwischen den beiden Tests mindestens 3 Minuten warten, da bei zu kurzer Wartezeit zu unterschiedliche Messwerte angezeigt werden können. Die aus der Lunge ausgeatmete Luft ist nach einem Test nicht mehr mit dem gleichen Alkoholgehalt angereichert wie beim kurz davor durchgeführten Test. Darum wird ein sofortiger zweiter Test einen geringeren Messwert anzeigen.

Alle mit diesem Alkoholtester ermittelten Messwerte sind stets nur ein Richtwert und nicht rechtsverbindlich.

WARUM DIE GEFÜHLTE ALKOHOLISIERUNG UND DAS MESSERGEBNIS OFT NICHT ÜBEREINSTIMMEN (KÖNNEN)

Bei einem Alkoholtest gibt es sehr viele verschiedene Faktoren, die die Höhe des Messwertes beeinflussen. Dazu zählen neben dem Geschlecht , Alter, der Körpergröße und dem Körpergewicht auch der Körperfettanteil sowie die Höhe des Anteils an Körperflüssigkeit.

Darüber hinaus sind auch der allgemeine physische und psychische Zustand bzw. die jeweilige Tagesverfassung zu berücksichtigen. Außerdem können die Art der Mahlzeiten vor dem Test (Art des Inhalts und Füllstand des Magens) und die Einnahme von Medikamenten den Messwert beeinflussen.

Zu den weiteren Einfluss-Faktoren gehören natürlich die Getränkeart (Prozentanteil des Alkoholgehaltes im Getränk sowie dessen Kohlensäure- und Zuckergehalt), die Trinkgeschwindigkeit und die von der Testperson abhängige, individuelle Dauer in Bezug auf den Alkohol-Aufbau bzw. den Alkohol-Abbau im Körper.

Manche Menschen haben schnell einen erhöhten Alkoholgehalt im Blut, bei anderen dauert es länger bis eine Alkoholisierung feststellbar ist. Etwa 40-50% des konsumierten Alkohols befinden sich innerhalb von 15 Minuten im Körper, nach 30 Minuten sind es 65% und nach spätestens 70 Minuten ist der zuvor konsumierte Alkohol zu 100% im Körper aufgenommen. Zu beachten ist dabei aber auch, dass manche Menschen – teils genetisch bedingt – den Alkoholgehalt im Blut schnell wieder abbauen, wogegen andere auch nach einem längeren Zeitraum noch einen erhöhten Alkoholgehalt im Blut aufweisen.

Each breathalyzer which you buy from ACE Instruments can also be calibrated by ACE Instruments. Of course, we also calibrate devices which were bought from other contractors, as long as these devices are identical in construction to the devices sold by ACE Instruments.

You can see the due date of the next calibration on the calibration sticker placed on your breathalyzer. If the sticker is missing, the calibration is to be done 6 months after the purchase date: e.g. purchase date: 13.05. = next calibration on the 13.11. and the next on the 13.05. of the following year.

For a calibration service you can send the device to the service address specified at www.alkomat.net.

WHY IS A CALIBRATION NECESSARY?

The calibration is not mandatory, but the accuracy of the sensor installed in the breathalyzer will decrease steadily without a calibration and additionally guarantee expires, if you don`t pay attention to the calibration ranges.

WHICH FACTORS INFLUENCE THE MEASUREMENT ACCURACY

• The more often the device is used the more the zero point is influenced.

• The higher the alcohol concentration is, the more the zero point is relocated.

• Devices which are used rarely have a decreased sensibility, too.

ACE Instruments recommends using the breathalyzer at least once (1x) a week independently of having drunken alcohol or not. To maintain the measurement accuracy, the breathalyzer should also be calibrated periodically.

IMPORTANT NOTES ON TEST EXECUTION AND SELF-ASSESSMENT

After the last sip of alcohol you should wait at least 15 minutes, as there may still be residual alcohol in the oral cavity, which influences the measurement result. Also smoking should be avoided before a test, as cigarette smoke harms the sensor.

For each test you should use a new mouthpiece – not only for hygienic reasons, but also because an already used mouthpiece can influence the next measurement result. The mouthpiece could contain residual alcohol, which would aect the new test result when the same mouthpiece is used again (this for example could show an alcoholization of a person who hasn`t drunken any alcohol).

If „FLO“ appears on the display, the given breath sample was insuicient or ended too soon. Blow into the moutpiece for about 4 seconds constantly (without a break) – preferably as if you were whistling without a sound.

If the same person performs 2 tests consecutively, then wait at least 3 minutes between the two tests, as a too short waiting time may cause dierent measurement results. The air exhaled from the lungs is, after a test, no longer enriched with the same alcohol content as in the previous test. Therefore, an immediate second test will indicate a lower test result.

All measured values determined with this breathalyzer are always indicative and not legally binding.

WHY THE ESTIMATED ALCOHOLIZATION AND THE MEASUREMENT RESULT IN MOST CASES CANNOT MATCH

An alcohol test is aected by a lot of dierent factors which also aect the test result. Beside the gender, age, body size and body weight, also the body fat percentage and the amount of body fluid have a big influence.

In addition, the general physical and mental state or the current daily constitution have to be taken into consideration. Furthermore, the meals eaten before a breath test (type of content and level of the stomach) and the intake of medication may influence the measurement.

Other influencing factors are, of course, the type of drink (percentage of alcohol content in the beverage and its carbon dioxide and sugar content), the drinking rate and the individual subject‘s duration of alcohol build-up or degradation in the body.

Some people quickly have a high alcohol content in the blood, with other people it takes longer until an alcoholization is detected. About 40-50% of the consumed alcohol is in the body within 15 minutes, after 30 minutes it is 65% and after 70 minutes the previously consumed alcohol is 100% absorbed in the body. However, it should also be noted that some people – partly due to genetic factors – quickly reduce the alcohol content in the blood, whereas others still have an increased alcohol content in the blood after a longer period of time.

EINFÜHRUNG

Vielen Dank für den Kauf unseres Alkoholtesters INNOMARK gamma! Er ist ein leicht bedienbares Alkoholmessgerät mit elektrochemischem Sensor. Das Gerät misst die Alkoholkonzentration in der Atemluft und berechnet daraus die Blutalkoholkonzentration. Dieses Gerät liefert Testergebnisse mit einer Messtoleranz von +/- 0,08‰ (Promille) beim Referenzwert von 0,50 Promille und 25°C Umgebungstemperatur. Die Messeinheit ‰ (Promille bzw. g/L) ist die Grundeinstellung in der EU.

Die in Promille ermittelten Messergebnisse werden als 4-stelliger Zahlenwert angezeigt und sind 1:1 interpretierbar (z.B. das Display zeigt den Wert 0,36 = 0,36 Promille).

Der im Gerät integrierte Sensor kann kalibriert werden. Zur Erhaltung der Messgenauigkeit dieses Gerätes und der Sensor-Garantie empfehlen wir eine regelmäßige Kalibrierung. Sie können das Gerät zum Kalibrieren an die unter www.alkomat.net angegebene Service-Adresse senden.

Das Gerät darf nur in Übereinstimmung mit den Anweisungen in der Bedienungsanleitung verwendet werden. Alle durch dieses Alkoholtestgerät ermittelten Messwerte dienen stets nur als Anhaltspunkt und sind nicht rechtsverbindlich. Atemtests sollten unter Verwendung von aufsteckbaren Mundstücken durchgeführt werden (pro Test sollte aus hygienischen Gründen und zur Vermeidung von verfälschten Messwerten ein neues Mundstück verwendet werden).

Kunden in UK erhalten den Alkoholtester mit der Grundeinstellung mg/L, Kunden in den USA mit der Grundeinstellung % BAC. SO ERHALTEN SIE EIN MÖGLICHST GENAUES ERGEBNIS

A) Warten Sie nach dem letzten Schluck Alkohol mindestens 15 Minuten bis zum Alkoholtest. Essen, trinken und rauchen Sie während dieser Zeit nicht. B) Önen Sie das Gehäuse nicht. C) Bewahren Sie den Alkoholtester nicht an einem kalten oder heißen oder feuchten oder schlecht belüfteten Platz auf. D) Bewahren Sie den Alkoholtester außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf. E) Führen Sie nach längerer Aufbewahrungszeit drei „Einlauftests“ durch, bevor Sie den eigentlichen Alkoholtest durchführen. F) Lassen Sie den Alkoholtester nicht fallen.

G) Ersetzen Sie die Batterie, wenn ihre Leistung schwach ist. Verringerte Batteriekapazität führt zu falschen Testergebnissen. H) Führen Sie keinen Test in lauten (Schallwellen stören den Sensor), zugigen oder schlecht belüfteten Plätzen durch. I) Nach einem Testergebnis von 1,00 Promille oder höher benötigt der Sensor eine längere Erholungszeit. Warten Sie in diesem Fall mindestens drei Minuten bis zum nächsten Test. J) Führen Sie keinen Test durch in sehr kalter, sehr heißer oder unbelüfteter, rauchiger Umgebung. K) Bewahren Sie den Alkoholtester so auf, dass das Eindringen von Staub und Flüssigkeiten verhindert wird. L) Pusten Sie nicht zu stark in das Gerät, dies schadet dem Sensor (vor allem, wenn durch das Pusten viel Speichel in das Gerät gelangt).

VORBEREITUNG FÜR DEN TEST

1. Laden Sie die im Gerät integrierte Lithium-Ionen-Batterie (3.7V) durch Nut-

zung des mitgelieferten Ladekabels auf. Beim Start des Ladevorganges wird „CH“ am Display angezeigt und zugleich blinkt die Batterie-Anzeige, beides verschwindet nach wenigen Sekunden. Sobald der Ladevorgang beendet ist, sehen Sie am Display das Wort „FULL“. Drücken Sie dann den Schalter unterhalb des Kabelanschlusses nach oben (es erscheint ein grüner Hintergrund, das Gerät kann jetzt benutzt werden).

2. Stecken Sie ein Mundstück auf die seitliche Önung zum Anbringen der

Mundstücke (= die Önung an der linken Seite der Gerätefront). Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Mundstück festsitzt. Verwenden Sie für jede Testperson ein neues Mundstück (aus hygienischen Gründen und zum Erhalt der Messgenauigkeit, da ein benutztes Mundstück im Inneren Restalkohl enthalten könnte).

TESTDURCHFÜHRUNG

1. Drücken Sie kurz den Startknopf an der Vorderseite des Alkoholtesters.

Das Gerät piepst 2x und es erscheint „ ALCO“ sowie die Batterie-Anzeige am Display.

2. Drücken Sie erneut 1x kurz den Startknopf, es erscheint kurz „SH“ (= Sensor

Heating), danach „SH99“ und anschließend startet ein Countdown, der von 30 bis 0 zählt (wenn der Sensor zum Aufwärmen mehr Zeit benötigt, so startet der Countdown bei 99). Während des Countdowns piepst das Gerät im Sekundentakt und am Display wird abwechselnd „READY“ und „BLOW“ angezeigt.

3. Sobald der Countdown startet, können Sie mit dem Atemtest beginnen.

Pusten Sie 4 Sekunden lang gleichmäßig in das zuvor angebrachte Mundstück. Atmen Sie dazu einfach langsam und ohne Unterbrechung aus (ähnlich als ob Sie pfeifen würden). Das Gerät piepst durchgehend während der Atemprobe.

4. Sobald das Piepsen aufhört und ein Klack-Ton sowie ein 2-facher Biepton zu

hören ist, ist der Test beendet. Wenn die Atemprobe unterbrochen wurde oder zu schwach war, dann erscheint „FLO“ am Display. Führen Sie in diesem Fall den Test erneut durch und drücken Sie dafür 2 Sekunden den Startknopf.

5. Nach einer erfolgreichen Atemprobe wertet das Gerät das Messergebnis aus. Dabei wird kurz „Anly“ am Display angezeigt und anschließend sofort das Messergebnis in Promille (= Standardeinstellung der Messeinheit). Das Messergebnis ist zirka 60 Sekunden lang zu sehen, dann erscheint erneut „ALCO“ am Display. Für einen neuen Test drücken Sie 1x kurz den Startknopf.

Hinweis: Das Gerät schaltet sich nach zirka 90 Sekunden automatisch ab.

Für einen weiteren Test drücken Sie einfach 1x kurz den Startknopf. Sie können das Gerät auch manuell abschalten, indem Sie ca. 4 Sekunden dauerhaft den Startknopf drücken.

ACE INSTRUMENTS EMPFIEHLT

• Benutzen Sie für jede testende Person immer ein neues Mundstück! ACE Instruments übernimmt keine Verantwortung für jegliche Schäden, die durch den Gebrauch eines Mundstückes durch mehrere Personen und für mehrere Tests entstehen können.

• Benützen Sie stets die hygienisch und einzeln verpackten ACE Instruments Mundstücke. Das Testgerät kommt bei jedem Test innen und außen mit menschlichen Ausscheidungen in Kontakt (Schweiß, Speichel, Blut etc.).

• Benützen Sie Handschuhe, wenn Sie die für einen Test verwendeten Mundstücke vom Gerät abnehmen, vor allem dann, wenn fremde Personen den Test durchgeführt haben. ACE Technik (www.ace-technik.de) führt in seinem Sortiment dafür geeignete Handschuhe.

WICHTIGE HINWEISE

• Wenn Sie etwas gegessen, Alkohol getrunken oder eine Zigarette geraucht haben, so warten Sie mindestens 15 Minuten bevor Sie mit der Messung beginnen.

• Dieser Alkoholtester ist ein hochwertiges und empfindliches Messgerät. Um die Messgenauigkeit des Sensors aufrechtzuhalten, sollte das Gerät regelmäßig benutzt werden. Wird das Gerät über einen längeren Zeitraum nicht benutzt, so kann der Sensor austrocknen. Wir empfehlen, den Alkoholtester mindestens 2x pro Monat für Alkoholtests zu verwenden (auch wenn Sie keinen Alkohol getrunken haben).

• Bei Messwerten unter 0,10‰ (ODER 0,01% BAC ODER 0,05mg/L – je nach Einstellung) wird das Testergebnis als 0,00 (‰ ODER mg/L ODER % BAC – je nach Einstellung) angezeigt. Dies geschieht deshalb, weil bei einem geringen Alkohollevel andere Substanzen in der Atemluft enthalten sein können, welche das Ergebnis der Atemprobe beeinflussen.

• Durch Änderungen am Produkt können sich die beschriebenen Abläufe ändern. Dies kann ohne Vorankündigung und Anpassung der Bedienungsanleitung geschehen und ist kein Grund zur Reklamation, Retoure oder Preisminderung. Es liegt in der Verantwortung des Anwenders, Abweichungen zwischen der Bedienungsanleitung und der tatsächlichen Bedienung dieses Atemalkoholtesters zu erkennen und entsprechend zu reagieren.

ACE INSTRUMENTS WARNT Selbst wenn das Gerät Alkoholisierung im „sicheren“ Bereich anzeigt, ist dies nach dem Genuss von Alkohol kein Freibrief für das Lenken eines Fahrzeuges oder eine andere Tätigkeit, die unter Alkoholeinfluss nicht ausgeführt werden sollte.

Die wiederaufladbare Batterie/der Akku ist leer.

Der Sensor hatte nicht genügend Atemluft für eine Analyse zur Verfügung.

Die Gesamtanzahl an durchgeführten Atemtests hat 500 erreicht. Das Gerät sollte zum Erhalt der Garantie und der Messgenauigkeit zeitnah kalibriert werden.

Das Sensormodul hat einen Defekt oder der Sensor muss ausgetauscht werden.

Bitte laden Sie den Akku mit dem mitgelieferten USB Kabel auf.

Hinweis: Die Akkuleistung hält

länger, wenn Sie bei Nichtbenutzung des Gerätes den Schalter zum Aktivieren der Stromversorgung (an der rechten Geräteseite) nach unten schieben.

Drücken Sie den Startknopf und starten Sie einen neuen Test, bei dem Sie 5 Sekunden lang konstant und ohne Pause in das Mundstück pusten (pusten Sie so, als ob Sie ohne Ton pfeifen würden).

Um das Blinken des Wortes "LOCK" zu beenden und das Gerät wieder in den Normalbetrieb zu versetzen, muss der Benutzer den Verkäufer des Alkoholtestgerätes kontaktieren und das Gerät kalibrieren lassen. Sie können das Gerät für eine Kalibrierung an die unter www.alkomat.net erwähnte Service-Adresse senden.

Bitte wenden Sie sich an den Verkäufer des Gerätes bzw. an den Service von ACE Instruments (www.alkomat.net).

KALIBRIERUNG

ACE Instruments empfiehlt die Kalibrierung des im Gerät integrierten Sensors zirka alle 12 Monate oder nach 500 Tests (je nachdem, welches Ereignis früher eintritt). Die Kalibrierung muss nicht zwingend vorgenommen werden, die Genauigkeit des integrierten Sensors nimmt jedoch ohne Kalibrierung stetig ab und zusätzlich erlischt die Garantie für den Sensor. Sie können das Gerät zum Kalibrieren an die unter www.alkomat.net angegebene Service-Adresse senden.

Wir empfehlen die Einsendung als Paket, damit im Fall der Unauindbarkeit der Abliefernachweis bzw. Nachforschungsauftrag möglich ist.

HINWEISE ZUR BATTERIE

Das Gerät, auf das sich diese Bedienungsanleitung bezieht, enthält im Auslieferungszustand eine wiederaufladbare 3.7V Lithium-Ionen Batterie (= ein Akku). Dieser Akku kann bis zu 200 Mal wieder aufgeladen werden. Sollte das Produkt diese Gewährleistung nicht erfüllen, beschränkt sich der Anspruch des Käufers und die Pflichten der ACE Instruments ausschließlich und nach freiem Ermessen der ACE Instruments auf den Austausch oder die Reparatur der betroenen Waren oder auf eine Erstattung des Kaufpreises für die beanstandeten Waren.

INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing our INNOMARK gamma Breathalyzer! It measures the alcohol concentration in human breath using an electrochemical sensor and calculates the blood alcohol level. The test results are very reliable and have a tolerance of +/- 0.08‰ (per mill = g/L) with reference to 0.50‰ at 25°C ambient temperature. The measurement results are displayed with 4 digits and are interpretable 1: 1 (for example the display shows the value 0.36 = 0.36 per mill).

The sensor inside the device can be calibrated. To maintain the measurement accuracy of this device and the sensor warranty, it should be calibrated regularly. For a calibration service you can send the device to the service address specified at www.alkomat.net.

The device must only be used pursuant to the instructions mentioned in this manual. All measured values determined by this breathalyzer are always a guide only and are not legally binding. Breath tests should be carried out using clip-on mouthpieces (one new mouthpiece should be used per test for reasons of hygiene and to avoid falsified readings).

NOTE TO COUNTRY-SPECIFIC MEASUREMENT UNITS

Customers in the EU receive the breathalyzer with ‰ (per mill) as default setting, in the UK the default setting is mg/L, and in the USA, it is % BAC. In the chapter „Technical data,“ you will find information about the accuracy concerning the dierent measurement units. Please check the website of the Department of Transportation, the website of the Ministry of Transport, or automotive clubs to become informed about the current alcohol limits in your country.

TIPS TO RECEIVE THE MOST ACCURACTE RESULTS

A) Wait at least 15 minutes after your last sip of alcohol. Do not eat, drink, or smoke during that time. B) Do not open the casing. C) Do not keep the breathalyzer in cold, hot, moist, or badly ventilated places. D) Keep the breathalyzer out of the reach of children. E) Conduct three inlet tests after long storage before conducting the actual alcohol test. F) Do not drop the breathalyzer.

G) Change the battery if it is depleted. Diminished battery capacity leads to incorrect test results. H) Do not conduct tests in loud (sound waves disrupt the sensor), drafty, or poorly ventilated places. I) After a test result of 1.00 per mill (per mill = EU setting) / 0.10% BAC (% BAC = US setting) / 0.50mg/L (mg/L = UK setting) or higher the sensor needs rest time. In this case wait at least three minutes before starting the next test. J) Do not conduct tests in very cold, very hot, or an unventilated, smoky ambience. K) Store the breathalyzer in a way to avoid penetration by dust or liquids. L) Blowing too hard may cause damage to the sensor as saliva flows into it.

PREPARATION FOR THE TEST

1. Recharge the lithium-ion battery (3.7V) built into the unit using the supplied charging cable. When starting the charging process, „CH“ is shown on the display and the battery indicator flashes at the same time, both disappear after a few seconds. As soon as the charging process is completed, you will see the word „FULL“ on the display. Then push the button below the USB cable connection upwards (a green background appears, the device can now be used).

2. Insert a mouthpiece into the slot on the left front side of the breathalyzer. Ensure whether it securely fits or not. It is highly recommended to use an extra mouthpiece for every test for sanitary reasons.

CONDUCTING THE MEASUREMENT

1. Briefly press the start button on the front of the alcohol tester. The device beeps twice and „ALCO“ and the battery indicator appear on the display.

2. Press the start button briefly once again, „SH“ (= Sensor Heating) appears briefly, then „SH99“ and then a countdown starts counting from 30 to 0 (if the sensor needs more time to warm up, the countdown starts at 99). During the countdown the unit beeps every second and the display alternates between „READY “ and „BLOW“.

3. Once the countdown starts, you can begin the breath test. Blow steadily into the previously attached mouthpiece for 4 seconds. Breathe out slowly and without interruption (as if you were whistling without a tone). The device beeps continuously during the breath test.

4. As soon as the beep stops and a click tone and a double beep tone can be heard, the test is finished. If the breath sample was interrupted or too weak, „FLO“ appears on the display. In this case, perform the test again and press the start button for 2 seconds.

5. After a successful breath test, the instrument evaluates the measurement result. The display briefly shows „Anly “ and then immediately the result in per mille (= standard setting of the measuring unit in the EU). The measuring result can be seen for about 60 seconds, then „ALCO“ appears again on the display. For a new test, briefly press the start button once.

Note: The device switches o automatically after approx. 90 seconds.

For another test, simply press the start button once briefly. You can also switch o the device manually by continuously pressing the start button for approx. 4 seconds.

ACE INSTRUMENTS RECOMMENDS

• Always use a new mouthpiece for each person and test that is conducted. ACE Instruments assumes no liability for any damages that may arise when several people use the same mouthpiece for multiple tests.

• Only use the provided individually packaged and hygienic mouthpieces. During each test the breathalyzer’s internal and external parts come into contact with human secretion (saliva, blood, sweat, etc.)!

• Use safety gloves when pulling out a mouthpiece used by another person! You can buy appropriate gloves at ACE Technik (www.acetechnik.de).

IMPORTANT NOTICE

• WHEN YOU HAVE EATEN, DRUNK ALCOHOL OR, SMOKED A CIGARETTE, WAIT AT LEAST 15 MINUTES BEFORE STARTING THE MEASUREMENT. ANY TEST CONDUCTED PRIOR TO THE EXPIRATION OF THE RECOMMENDED WAITING PERIOD WILL RESULT IN INACCURATE RESULTS.

• IF THE TEST RESULT IS BELOW 0.10‰ (PER MILL = g/L) OR 0.01% BAC (US setting) OR 0.05mg/L (UK settting) THEN THE DEVICE SHOWS

0.00 (‰ OR % BAC OR mg/L – depending on the setting) ON THE DISPLAY. THIS HAPPENS BECAUSE AT A LOW RANGE OF ALCOHOL CONCENTRATION IT IS POSSIBLE TO MEASURE OTHER MATERIALS IN YOUR MOUTH.

• This breathalyzer is a high quality and sensitive measurement device. To maintain the accuracy of the sensor, it should regularly be used. If the device is not used for an extended period, the sensor can dry out. ACE Instruments recommends using the breathalyzer at least 2 times per month (even if you have not been drinking alcohol).

• Due to changes in the product, the procedures stated can change. This can take place without prior notice or adaptation of the operating manual and is no cause for complaint, return or price reduction. The user is responsible for recognizing discrepancies between the operating manual and the actual handling of the breathalyzer and must react accordingly.

ACE INSTRUMENTS ADVISES even if you get a result meaning „safe range“, you should never drive after consuming alcohol or do any other activities that are severely impaired by alcohol consumption and might endanger your health and safety or the health and safety of others.

CALIBRATION

To maintain the accuracy of the breathalyzer, ACE Instruments recommends a calibration after 500 tests or approx. every 12 months (depending which incident happens first). For a calibration service you can send the device to ACE Instruments (see www.alkomat.net). The calibration is not mandatory, but the accuracy of the breathalyzer will decrease steadily without it and additionally the warranty for the sensor expires.

We recommend sending it as a parcel, so that in case of loss an inquiry or proof of delivery is possible.

BATTERY NOTICES

The device referred to in this manual is delivered with a rechargeable 3.7V lithium-ion battery. This battery can be recharged up to 200 times. The battery will last longer if you slide down the power switch (on the right side of the unit) when the unit is not in use.

If the battery is defective or no longer rechargeable, please send the device to the service address given at www.alkomat.net . Do not open the device on your own authority and do not attempt to replace the battery yourself. ACE Instruments advises that this will void the warranty.

WARRANTY AND LIABILITY

ACE Handels- und Entwicklungs GmbH (ACE Instruments) provides a warranty of two years after purchase for material and processing errors of the product (see attached warranty and liability declaration) in all versions and designations; and a warranty of one year for the sensor. This warranty includes the electronics as well as the casing and sensor without sampling components. Components that inevitably degrade over time (such as fuses) are not part of this warranty. The warranty is valid from the date of delivery or from the date of first activation (always the shorter period), if not stated otherwise in the accompanying ACE Instruments product literature.

The thorough check for damage of all products upon receipt, calibration suitable for the given use by the buyer and the proper use, maintenance and service according to the instructions of the accompanying ACE Instruments product literature are mandatory prerequisites of this warranty. Maintenance and service work performed by non-qualified persons as well as the use of non-approved consumables or spare parts results in the voiding of this warranty. As for all technically challenging products, it is a fundamental prerequisite and mandatory for ACE Instruments warranty that all users of these product are familiar with the properties and restrictions of the devices as stated in the respective literature.

LIMITATION OF WARRANTY AND LIABILITY

1. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

ACE Instruments rejects any further expressly stated or implied warranty, including the marketability and suitability for a determined purpose. This warranty especially excludes calibration. After changing the sensor, calibration is absolutely necessary. If an exchange of the sensor or a calibration is required for a product, the user may receive a cost estimate. Should the user reject the estimate, ACE Instruments will send the product back unrepaired/not calibrated and the product will be labelled accordingly. Should the product not fulfil the warranty, the claim of the buyer and the obligations of ACE Instruments are limited exclusively to the discretion of ACE Instruments for exchange, repair of the aected goods or reimbursement of the purchasing price for the faulty merchandise.

2. APPLICATION RESTRICTION

ACE Instruments is by no means liable for additional, incidental or consequential damage such as, among others, lost profit and downtime that result from selling, producing or using products that are part of this application restriction. This is independent of any claims emanating from, for instance, contracts, negligence or other culpable actions. The product, which is accompanied by this warranty and liability declaration (no matter the version or designation), in particular cannot be used in a legally binding manner to determine one’s capability to operate vehicles or execute action that could lead to personal injury or injury to others under the influence of alcohol.

The buyer is solely responsible and confirms that they have checked the intended use and suitability of purchased goods for any purpose. I) Après un résultat de 1,00 pour mille ou au-delà, le capteur a besoin d‘un temps de repos plus long. Dans ce cas, attendez au moins trois minutes avant tout nouveau test. J) N‘eectuez pas de test dans un environnement très froid ou très chaud, sans aération ou enfumé. K) Stockez l‘unité de test d‘alcool de sorte qu‘aucune intrusion de poussière ou de liquide ne soit possible. L) Ne soulez pas trop fort dans l‘appareil, cela endommage le capteur (notamment si beaucoup de salive entre dans l‘appareil).

PRÉPARATION POUR LE TEST

1. Rechargez la batterie lithium-ion (3,7 V) intégrée à l‘appareil à l‘aide du câble de charge fourni. Au démarrage de la charge, „CH“ s‘aiche à l‘écran et l‘indicateur de batterie clignote en même temps, les deux disparaissent au bout de quelques secondes. Dès que le processus de charge est terminé, le mot „FULL“ s‘aiche à l‘écran. Appuyer ensuite vers le haut sur l‘interrupteur à bascule situé sous la connexion du câble (un fond vert apparaît, l‘appareil peut maintenant être utilisé).

2. Placer un embout buccal sur l‘ouverture latérale pour fixer les embouts (= l‘ouverture sur le côté gauche du panneau avant). Assurez-vous que l‘embout buccal est bien serré. Utiliser un nouvel embout buccal pour chaque sujet (pour des raisons d‘hygiène et pour maintenir la précision de la mesure, car un embout buccal usagé peut contenir du carbone résiduel à l‘intérieur).

PROCÉDURE DE TEST

1. Appuyez brièvement sur le bouton de démarrage situé à l‘avant du testeur d‘alcool. L‘appareil émet deux bips et „ALCO“ et l‘indicateur de batterie apparaissent sur l‘écran.

2. Appuyez à nouveau brièvement sur la touche de démarrage, „SH“ (= Chauage du capteur) apparaît brièvement, puis „SH99“ et ensuite un compte à rebours commence à compter de 30 à 0 (si le capteur a besoin de plus de temps pour chauer, le compte à rebours commence à 99). Pendant le compte à rebours, l‘appareil émet un bip toutes les secondes et l‘aichage alterne entre „READY “ et „BLOW“.

3. Une fois le compte à rebours commencé, vous pouvez commencer l‘alcootest. Souler uniformément dans l‘embout buccal précédemment fixé pendant 4 secondes. Expirez simplement lentement et sans interruption (comme si vous siliez). L‘appareil émet un bip continu pendant l‘alcootest.

4. Une fois que le bip s‘arrête et que vous entendez un bip et un double bip, le

test est terminé. Si l‘alcootest a été interrompu ou trop faible, „FLO“ s‘aiche à l‘écran. Dans ce cas, eectuez à nouveau le test et appuyez sur le bouton de démarrage pendant 2 secondes.

5. Après un test d‘haleine réussi, l‘appareil évalue le résultat de la mesure.

L‘écran aiche brièvement „Anly“, puis immédiatement le résultat en pour mille (= réglage standard de l‘unité de mesure). Le résultat de la mesure est visible pendant environ 60 secondes, puis „ALCO“ apparaît à nouveau à l‘écran. Pour un nouveau test, appuyez brièvement une fois sur le bouton de démarrage.

Remarque: L‘appareil s‘éteint automatiquement après environ 90 secondes.

Pour un autre test, il suit d‘appuyer brièvement une fois sur le bouton de démarrage. Vous pouvez également éteindre l‘appareil manuellement en appuyant en continu sur la touche de démarrage pendant environ 4 secondes.

RECOMMANDATIONS D’ACE INSTRUMENTS

• Utilisez un embout diérent pour chaque personne faisant le test ! ACE Instruments décline toute responsabilité en cas de dommage causé par l’utilisation d’un même embout par plusieurs personnes ou pour plusieurs tests.

• Utilisez toujours les embouts ACE Instruments emballés de façon séparée et hygiénique. À chaque test, l’appareil entre en contact avec des sécrétions humaines externes comme internes (transpiration, salive, sang, etc.).

• Utilisez des gants lorsque vous retirez l’embout employé pour un test, surtout si le test a été eectué par une personne que vous ne connaissez pas. ACE Technik (www.ace-technik.de) propose, dans sa gamme de produits, des gants prévus à cet eet.

PRÉCISIONS IMPORTANTES

• Si vous avez mangé, bu de l’alcool ou fumé une cigarette, attendez au moins 15 minutes avant de commencer la mesure.

• Cette unité de test d’alcool est un appareil sensible et de grande qualité. Afin de préserver la précision de mesure du capteur, l’appareil doit être utilisé régulièrement. En cas d’inutilisation prolongée de l’appareil, le capteur peut s’assécher. Nous conseillons d’utiliser l’éthylotest au moins 2x par mois (même si vous n’avez pas bu d’alcool).

• Pour les valeurs en dessous de 0,10‰ (OU 0,01% BAC OU 0,05mg/L – selon le réglage), le résultat aiché sera 0,000‰. Cela s’explique par le fait que pour un faible niveau d’alcoolémie d’autres substances peuvent être contenues dans l’air expiré et influer sur le résultat du test.

• Des modifications sur le produit peuvent aboutir à une modification des échéances annoncées. Cela peut se produire sans avertissement préalable et sans adaptation du mode d’emploi et ne constitue en rien un motif de réclamation, de retour ou de réduction du prix. Il est de la responsabilité de l’utilisateur d’identifier les divergences entre le mode d’emploi et l’utilisation eective et de réagir en conséquence.

INLEIDING

Bedankt voor het kopen van onze Alcoholtester INNOMARK gamma! Hij is een eenvoudig te gebruiken alcoholmeter met elektrochemische sensor. Hij meet de alcoholconcentratie in de lucht en berekent de alcoholconcentratie in het bloed. Dit apparaat levert testresultaten met een meettolerantie van +/- 0,08‰ (promille = g/L) bij een referentiewaarde van 0,50 promille en 25°C omgevingstemperatuur. De maateenheid ‰ (per duizend) = basisinstelling in de EU.

De meetresultaten verkregen per mille worden weergegeven als een getal van 4 cijfers en zijn interpreteerbaar 1:1 (het display geeft bijvoorbeeld de waarde

0.36 = 0.36 per duizend).

De sensor ingebouwd in de alcoholmeter kan worden gekalibreerd. Om de meetnauwkeurigheid van dit apparaat en de garantie van de sensor te behouden, raden we aan om regelmatig te kalibreren. U kunt het apparaat verzenden voor kalibratie naar het serviceadres dat is opgegeven op www.alkomat.net.

Het apparaat mag alleen worden gebruikt in overeenstemming met de instructies in de bedieningsinstructies. Alle meetwaarden, die door dit alcoholtesttoestel worden gemeten, mogen alleen als indicatie worden beschouwd en zijn juridisch niet bindend. Voor elke ademtest moet een nieuw mondstuk worden gebruikt (om hygiënische redenen en om te foutieve meetgegevens te voorkomen die mogelijk door restalcohol uit een vorig gebruik worden geregistreerd).

VOOR HET MEEST NAUWKEURIGE MEETRESULTAAT

A) Wacht na de laatste slok alcohol minstens 15 minuten voor u de alcoholtest uitvoert. Eet, drink of rook niet tijdens deze wachttijd. B) Open de behuizing niet. C) Bewaar de alcohol testeenheid niet in een koude, warme, vochtige of slecht verluchte ruimte. D) Bewaar de alcohol testeenheid buiten het bereik van kinderen. E) Voer, wanneer het toestel lange tijd zonder gebruik werd bewaard, eerst drie “inlooptests” uit voor u de eigenlijke alcoholtest uitvoert. F) Laat de alcohol testeenheid niet vallen. G) Vervang de batterij wanneer de display moeilijk kan worden gelezen. Een lage batterijspanning kan eveneens voor gevolg hebben dat verkeerde metingen worden doorgevoerd. H) Voer geen test uit in een lawaaierige omgeving (lawaai stoort de sensor) of in een slecht verluchte ruimte. I) Na een testresultaat van 1,00 promille of hoger moet de sensor langer tot rust komen. Wacht in dat geval ten minste drie minuten voor de volgende test. J) Voer geen tests uit in een zeer koude, zeer warme of slecht verluchte rokerige ruimte. K) Bewaar de alcohol testeenheid zo dat er geen stof of vloeistoen in het toestel kunnen dringen. L) Blaas niet te hard op het toestel. Dit kan de sensor beschadigen (vooral wanneer bij het blazen voor speeksel in het toestel terechtkomt).

VOORBEREIDINGEN VOOR DE TEST:

1. Laad de lithium-ionbatterij (3,7V) die in het apparaat is ingebouwd op met de meegeleverde oplaadkabel. Bij het starten van het opladen wordt „CH“ op het display weergegeven en de batterij-indicator knippert tegelijkertijd, beide verdwijnen na enkele seconden. Zodra het laadproces is voltooid, ziet u het woord „FULL“ op het display verschijnen. Druk vervolgens de tuimelschakelaar onder de kabelaansluiting naar boven (een groene achtergrond verschijnt, het apparaat kan nu worden gebruikt).

2. Plaats een mondstuk op de zijopening om de mondstukken te bevestigen (= de opening aan de linkerkant van het voorpaneel). Zorg ervoor dat het mondstuk strak zit. Gebruik een nieuw mondstuk voor elk onderwerp (om hygiënische redenen en om de meetnauwkeurigheid te behouden, aangezien een gebruikt mondstuk een restkoolstof in het mondstuk kan bevatten).

UITVOEREN VAN DE TEST

1. Druk kortstondig op de startknop op de voorkant van de alcoholtester. Het

apparaat piept twee keer en „ALCO“ en de batterij-indicator verschijnen op het display.

2. Druk nogmaals kort op de startknop, „SH“ (= Sensorverwarming) verschijnt

kortstondig, dan „SH99“ en dan begint een aftelling van 30 tot 0 (als de sensor meer tijd nodig heeft om op te warmen, begint het aftellen bij 99). De volgende stap is het aftellen. Tijdens het aftellen piept het apparaat elke seconde en het display wisselt tussen „READY“ en „BLOW“.

3. Zodra het aftellen begint, kunt u beginnen met de ademtest. Blaas gelijkmatig

in het eerder bevestigde mondstuk gedurende 4 seconden. Gewoon langzaam en ononderbroken uitademen (alsof je fluit). Het apparaat piept voortdurend tijdens de ademtest.

4. Zodra de pieptoon stopt en u een pieptoon en een dubbele pieptoon hoort,

is de test voltooid. Als de ademtest onderbroken of te zwak was, verschijnt „FLO“ op het display. Voer in dit geval de test opnieuw uit en druk gedurende 2 seconden op de startknop.

5. Na een succesvolle ademtest evalueert het instrument het meetresultaat.

Het display toont kort „Anly“ en dan onmiddellijk het resultaat in per mille (= standaardinstelling van de meeteenheid). Het meetresultaat is gedurende ca. 60 seconden zichtbaar, daarna verschijnt weer „ALCO“ op het display. Voor een nieuwe test drukt u eenmaal kort op de startknop.

Opmerking: Het apparaat schakelt automatisch uit na ca. 90 seconden.

Voor een volgende test hoeft u slechts één keer kort op de startknop te drukken. U kunt het apparaat ook handmatig uitschakelen door de startknop gedurende ca. 4 seconden ingedrukt te houden.

AANBEVELINGEN VAN ACE INSTRUMENTS

• Gebruik voor elke testpersoon een nieuw mondstuk! ACE Instruments erkent geen enkele aansprakelijkheid voor mogelijke schade die is ontstaan door gebruik van hetzelfde mondstuk door meerdere personen in meerdere tests.

• Gebruik steeds een hygiënisch afzonderlijk verpakt mondstuk van ACE Instruments. Het testtoestel komt bij elke test in contact met menselijke sappen (zweet, speeksel, bloed, enz.).

• Gebruik handschoenen wanneer u mondstukken, die u voor de test gebruikt, wisselt, vooral wanneer het toestel wordt gebruikt om u vreemde personen te testen. ACE Technik (www.ace-technik.de) heeft in haar assortiment geschikt handschoenen.

BELANGRIJKE RICHTLIJNEN

• Wanneer u iets hebt gegeten, alcohol hebt gebruikt of een sigaret hebt gerookt, moet u minstens 15 minuten wachten voor u de test uitvoert.

• Deze alcohol testeenheid is is een hoogwaardig en gevoelig meettoestel. Om de meetnauwkeurigheid van de sensor te vrijwaren, moet het toestel regelmatig worden gebruikt. Wanneer het toestel voor een langere periode niet wordt gebruikt, kan de sensor uitdrogen. We adviseren om de alcoholtester ten minste twee keer per maand te gebruiken om te testen op alcohol (ook wanneer u geen alcohol hebt gedronken).

• Bij meetwaarden lager dan 0,10‰ (OF 0,01% BAC OF 0,05mg/L – afhankelijk van de instelling) wordt het testresultaat aangegeven als 0,00‰. Dit gebeurt omdat bij deze geringe alcoholhoeveelheid andere substanties in de ingeademde lucht kunnen zitten die het resultaat van de ademtest kunnen beïnvloeden.

• Door productwijzigingen kunnen de voorgeschreven processen veranderen. Dit gebeurt zonder aankondiging vooraf en eventueel zelfs zonder aanpassing van deze gebruiksaanwijzing. Dergelijke aanpassingen vormen geen grond voor een klacht, retour of korting. Het is de verantwoordelijkheid van de gebruiker om verschillen tussen de gebruiksaanwijzing en de eigenlijke bediening op te merken en dienovereenkomstig te handelen.

KALIBRATIE

ACE Instruments adviseert om de sensor in het toestel om de 12 maanden of na 500 tests opnieuw te laten kalibreren (afhankelijk welke van de twee voorwaarden eerst is bereikt). Deze kalibrering is niet verplicht, maar zonder kalibrering zal de nauwkeurigheid van de ingebouwde sensor automatisch verminderen en zonder kalibratie vervalt de garantie van de sensor. DE BATTERIJ NOTITIES

Het apparaat waarnaar in deze handleiding wordt verwezen, wordt geleverd met een oplaadbare 3,7V-lithium-ionbatterij. Deze batterij kan tot 200 keer worden opgeladen. De batterij gaat langer mee als u de activeringsschakelaar (aan de rechterkant van het apparaat) naar beneden schuift wanneer het apparaat niet in gebruik is.

Als de batterij defect is of niet meer oplaadbaar, stuur het apparaat dan naar het serviceadres dat is opgegeven op www.alkomat.net . Open het apparaat niet op eigen gezag en probeer de batterij niet zelf te vervangen. ACE Instruments adviseert dat hierdoor de garantie vervalt.

GARANTIE EN AANSPRAKELIJKHEID

De ACE Instruments (ACE Handels- und Entwicklungs GmbH) geeft voor het product, waarbij deze garantie- en aansprakelijkheidsverklaring is bijgesloten

- in alle versies en aanduidingen - een garantie van twee jaar na aankoop op

materiaal- en afwerkingsfouten; een garantie van één jaar op de sensor zonder componenten voor het nemen van een monster. Niet onder de garantie vallen componenten die bij werkzaamheid onvermijdelijk vernietigd worden (bijv. zekeringen). De garantie geldt vanaf de datum van uitlevering of vanaf de datum van de eerste ingebruikname (hier geldt steeds het kortere tijdsbestek), wanneer dit in de meegeleverde documenten van het product van de ACE Instruments niet anders vermeld is.

GARANTIE- EN AANSPRAKELIJKHEIDSBEPERKING

1. PRODUCTBEPERKING

De ACE Instruments wijst iedere verdere uitdrukkelijke of stilzwijgend aangenomen garantie af, inclusief de geschiktheid op de markt voor een bepaald doel. De garantie geldt in het bijzonder niet voor kalibratie. Na het vervangen van de sensor is de kalibratie in ieder geval noodzakelijk. Zijn bij een product het vervangen van de sensor en/of de kalibratie noodzakelijk, ontvangt de gebruiker eventueel een prijsopgave. Wijst hij deze van de hand, zendt de ACE Instruments het product niet gerepareerd / niet gekalibreerd terug en op het product wordt dit ook vermeld. Mocht het product deze waarborg niet vervullen, blijven de aanspraak van de koper en de plichten van de ACE Instruments uitsluitend en naar diens vrije beoordeling beperkt tot het vervangen of de reparatie van de betroen goederen of een restitutie van de gereclameerde goederen.

2. TOEPASSINGSBEPERKING

De ACE Instruments stelt zich in geen geval aansprakelijk voor extra schade, bijkomende of naderhand ontstane schade zoals onder meer niet verkregen winsten en uitvallen van het gebruik die ontstaan uit verkoop, fabricage of gebruik van de onder deze producten, onafhankelijk van het feit of deze aanspraken worden afgeleid uit contracten, nalatigheid of andere opzettelijke.

De zorgvuldige controle van alle producten bij levering op beschadigingen, een voor de gegeven toepassing van de koper geschikte kalibratie en het reglementaire gebruik, onderhoud en de reparatie volgens de aanwijzingen in de door de ACE Instruments geleverde productliteratuur zijn noodzakelijke voorwaarden voor deze garantie. Reparatie- of onderhoudswerkzaamheden door ongekwalificeerd personeel leiden net zo tot wegvallen van de garantie als niet vrijgegeven gebruiksmaterialen of reserveonderdelen. Zoals bij alle technisch veeleisende producten is het een ACE Instruments noodzakelijke voorwaarde dat alle gebruikers van deze producten vertrouwd zijn met het gebruik, de mogelijkheden en beperkingen van het product, zoals deze beschreven zijn in de betreende productliteratuur.

3. ADVIESBEPERKING

De koper bevestigt dat hij het voorgenomen gebruik en de geschiktheid van de gekochte goederen voor ieder gebruiksdoel als enige verantwoordelijke heeft gecontroleerd. Tussen de partijen wordt nadrukkelijk overeengekomen dat ieder technisch of ander advies door de ACE Instruments met betrekking tot het gebruik van de goederen of dienstverleningen kosteloos en uitsluitend op risico van de koper gegeven werd. Daardoor ontstaat voor de ACE Instruments uit de aanbevelingen of de resultaten ervan.

Het product, waarbij deze garantie- en aansprakelijkheidsverklaring is bijgevoegd, onverschillig in welke versie en aanduiding, kan in het bijzonder niet juridisch bindend erbij gehaald worden om de geschiktheid van een person tot het besturen van een voertuig of tot het verrichten van een handeling die voor zichzelf of andere personen vast te stellen.

INTRODUZIONE

Grazie per aver acquistato il nostro Alcohol Tester INNOMARK gamma. Il dispositivo è facile da usare e ha un sensore elettrochimico che misura la concentrazione di alcol nel respiro e calcola la concentrazione di alcol nel sangue. Questo dispositivo fornisce risultati di prova con una tolleranza di misurazione di +/- 0,08‰ (per mille = g/L) al livello di riferimento di 0,50‰ e 25°C temperatura ambiente.

I risultati, misurati in grammi per litro, sono visualizzati come valori numerici a 4 cifre con il misuratore del livello di alcol nel sangue e possono essere interpretati proporzionalmente 1: 1 (il display mostra ad esempio, il valore di 0,36 = 0,36 grammi per litro).

Il sensore integrato nel dispositivo può essere calibrato. Per mantenere la precisione di misura di questo dispositivo e la garanzia del sensore, si consiglia una calibrazione regolare. È possibile inviare il dispositivo all’indirizzo di servizio specificato su www.alkomat.net.

Prove di respiro sempre deve essere eseguite utilizzando i plug-un boccaglio (utilizzarlo un nuovo boccaglio per ogni test – per motivi di igiene e perché alcol riposo può essere in un boccaglio utilizzata).

Questo dispositivo può essere usato soltanto in conformità con le istruzioni per l’uso. Tutti i valori misurati determinati da questo etilometro sono sempre solo una guida e non sono legalmente vincolanti. I test respiratori devono essere eseguiti utilizzando boccagli clip-on (per ogni test deve essere utilizzato un nuovo boccaglio).

A) Dopo l‘ultimo sorso d‘alcol attendere almeno 15 minuti prima di eettuare l‘esame. Durante questi 15 minuti non si deve mangiare, bere o fumare. B) Non aprire l‘alloggiamento. C) Non custodire l‘unità di alcol test in un luogo freddo o caldo o umido o male arieggiato. D) Conservare l‘unità di alcol test lontano dalla portata dei bambini. E) Dopo un lungo periodo di immagazzinaggio, eettuare tre test di prova prima di eettuare il test vero e proprio. Eettuare la prova del tasso alcolico.

F) Non lasciare mai cadere l‘unità di alcol test. G) Sostituire le batterie se scatta l’avviso batteria. La ridotta capacità della batteria può determinare il fallimento del test. H) Non eettuare i test in luoghi rumorosi (le onde acustiche disturbano il sensore), esposti alle correnti d‘aria o non ventilati. I) Dopo un risultato del test pari o superiore all‘1,00 per mille, il sensore deve essere fatto riposare per un periodo di recupero. In questo caso attendere almeno tre minuti fino al test seguente. J) Non eettuare prove in ambienti molto freddi, molto caldi o non ventilati, fumosi. K) Conservare l‘unità di alcol test in modo tale da evitare che penetrino polvere e liquidi. L) Non soiare troppo forte nel boccaglio che è dannoso per Sensore (soprattutto quando molto di saliva penetrare l‘apparecchio).

PREPARAZIONE PER IL TEST

1. Ricaricare la batteria agli ioni di litio (3,7V) integrata nell‘unità utilizzando il cavo

di ricarica in dotazione. Quando si avvia il processo di carica, sul display viene visualizzato „CH“ e l‘indicatore della batteria lampeggia contemporaneamente, entrambi scompaiono dopo pochi secondi. Non appena il processo di ricarica è terminato, sul display viene visualizzata la parola „FULL“. Quindi premere l‘interruttore a levetta sotto il collegamento del cavo verso l‘alto (appare uno sfondo verde, l‘apparecchio può ora essere utilizzato).

2. Posizionare un boccaglio sull‘apertura laterale per fissare i boccagli

(= l‘apertura sul lato sinistro del pannello frontale). Assicurarsi che il boccaglio sia ben stretto. Utilizzare un boccaglio nuovo per ogni soggetto (per ragioni igieniche e per mantenere la precisione di misura, poiché un boccaglio usato può contenere carbonio residuo all‘interno).

ESECUZIONE DEL TEST ALCOLICO

1. Premere brevemente il pulsante di avvio sulla parte anteriore del tester di

alcol. Il dispositivo emette due segnali acustici e sul display appare „ALCO“ e l‘indicatore della batteria.

2. Premere di nuovo brevemente il pulsante di avvio, appare brevemente „SH“

(= riscaldamento a sensore), poi „SH99“ e poi inizia il conteggio alla rovescia da 30 a 0 (se il sensore ha bisogno di più tempo per riscaldarsi, il conto alla rovescia inizia a 99). Durante il conto alla rovescia l‘unità emette un segnale acustico ogni secondo e il display alterna tra „READY“ e „BLOW“.

3. Una volta avviato il conto alla rovescia, è possibile iniziare il test del respiro.

Soiare uniformemente nel boccaglio precedentemente collegato per 4 secondi. Respira semplicemente lentamente e senza interruzioni (come se stessi fischiettando). Il dispositivo emette un segnale acustico continuo durante il test del respiro.

4. Una volta che il bip si ferma e si sente un bip e un doppio bip, il test è

completo. Se il test dell‘alito è stato interrotto o troppo debole, sul display appare „FLO“. In questo caso, eseguire nuovamente il test e premere il pulsante di avvio per 2 secondi.

5. Dopo un test del respiro che ha avuto successo, lo strumento valuta il risultato della misurazione. Il display mostra brevemente „Anly“ e poi immediatamente il risultato in per mille (= impostazione standard dell‘unità di misura). Il risultato della misurazione è visibile per circa 60 secondi, poi sul display appare nuovamente „ALCO“. Per un nuovo test, premere brevemente una volta il pulsante di avvio.

Nota: L‘apparecchio si spegne automaticamente dopo circa 90 secondi.

Per un altro test, è suiciente premere brevemente una volta il pulsante di avvio. È anche possibile spegnere manualmente l‘apparecchio premendo continuamente il pulsante di avvio per circa 4 secondi.

ACE INSTRUMENTS CONSIGLIA

• Utilizzate un bocchino nuovo per ogni persona da controllare! L‘ACE Instruments non si assume nessuna responsabilità per alcun danno causato dall‘utilizzo di un bocchino da parte di più persone e per più test.

• Utilizzate sempre i bocchini ACE Instruments igienici e in confezione singola. Questa unità alcol test per ogni test entra in contatto internamente ed esternamente con secreti umani (sudore, saliva, sangue ecc.).

• Utilizzate i guanti quando togliete i bocchini utilizzati per un test dal misuratore, soprattutto se il test è stato eseguito da persone estranee. L‘ACE Technik (www.ace-technik.de) mette a disposizione nella sua gamma di prodotti dei guanti appositi.

AVVERTENZE IMPORTANTI

• Se avete mangiato qualcosa, bevuto dell‘alcol oppure fumato una sigaretta aspettate almeno 15 minuti prima di procedere alla misurazione.

• Questa unità alcol test è un misuratore pregiato e sensibile. Onde mantenere la precisione di misurazione del sensore, l‘apparecchio va utilizzato regolarmente. Se l‘apparecchio non viene utilizzato per un lungo periodo il sensore potrebbe seccarsi. Consigliamo di utilizzare l‘etilometro eseguendo test di tasso alcolemico di almeno 2 volte al mese (anche se non avete bevuto dell‘alcol).

• In caso risultassero valori inferiori allo 0,10‰ (OPPURE 0,01% BAC OPPURE 0,05mg/L – a seconda dell’impostazione) il risultato del test viene indicato con 0,00‰. Ciò avviene perché in caso di un basso livello d’alcol possono essere presenti altre sostanze nell’aria espirata, le quali possono influenzare il risultato della prova.

• A seguito di modifiche del prodotto le sequenze operative possono subire dei cambiamenti. Ciò può accadere senza comunicazione preliminare e con adeguamento delle istruzioni per l‘uso e non costituisce motivo di reclamo, restituzione o riduzione del prezzo. L‘utente, è tenuto a riconoscere le dierenze tra le istruzioni per l‘uso e l‘uso eettivo e a reagire di conseguenza.

CALIBRATURA

Per ottenere la precisione dell´apparecchio, ACE Instruments consigliamo la calibratura con un intervallo di dopo 500 test o dopo circa 12 mesi. La calibratura non essere coattivo, tuttavia la precisione cala senza la calibratura e inoltre, la garanzia per il sensore scade. L´apparecchio può essere inviato per la calibratura all´indirizzo dal sito www.alkomat.net.

Si consiglia di inviare l´apparecchio come pacco postale così in caso di irreperibilità della ricevuta di consegna per esempio, sia possibile l´indagine dell´ordine.

NOTE ALLE BATTERIE

L‘apparecchio di cui al presente manuale viene fornito con una batteria ricaricabile agli ioni di litio da 3,7V. Questa batteria può essere ricaricata fino a 200 volte. La batteria durerà più a lungo se si fa scorrere verso il basso l‘interruttore di attivazione dell‘alimentazione (sul lato destro dell‘unità) quando l‘unità non è in uso.

La ACE Instruments respinge qualsiasi ulteriore garanzia assunta espressamente o tacitamente, inclusa la vendibilità del prodotto e la sua idoneità per un determinato uso. La garanzia non si applica per la taratura. Dopo la sostituzione del sensore la taratura è assolutamente necessaria. Se per un prodotto sono necessarie una sostituzione di sensore e/o una taratura, l‘utente riceverà un preventivo di spesa. Se l‘utente rifiuterà il preventivo di spesa, la ACE Instruments restituirà il prodotto non riparato/non calibrato ed il prodotto verrà contrassegnato di conseguenza. Se il prodotto non dovesse adempire a questa prestazione di garanzia, i diritti dell’acquirente verrebbero limitati, e con essi gli obblighi della ACE Instruments, con esclusiva discrezione della ACE Instruments in materia di sostituzione o riparazione delle merci interessate o di rimborso del prezzo d‘acquisto per le merci contestate.

2. LIMITAZIONE DELL‘USO

Muchas gracias por comprar nuestro probador de alcohol INNOMARK gamma! El alcoholímetro es un apparato medidor con sensor electroquímico. El alcoholímetro mide la concentración de alcohol en el aire espirado y calcula, a partir del valor obtenido, la concentración de alcohol en sangre. Este aparato tiene una tolerancia de medición de +/- 0,08‰ (por mil = g/L) con el valor de referencia de 0,50 por mil y 25°C temperatura ambiente.

Los resultados obtenidos se muestran como un valor de 4 cifras que equivale a g de alcohol por kg de sangre (es decir, si se muestra un valor de 0,36, eso quiere decir que el valor registrado es de 0,36 g de alcohol/kg de sangre).

El sensor integrado en el alcoholímetro se puede calibrar. Para mantener la precisión de medición de este dispositivo y la garantía del sensor, recomendamos una calibración regular. Pueden enviar el aparato para calibrar a la dirección indicada en www.alkomat.net.

El aparato sólo puede ser usado conforme a las instrucciones del manual de instrucciones. Todos los valores de medición indicados por este aparato de pruebas de alcohol sirven siempre sólo como punto de referencia y no son legalmente vinculantes. En cada test de respiración se debe usar una boquilla nueva (por razones higiénicas y para evitar mediciones defectuosas que pueden resultar por posibles restos de alcohol en una boquilla ya utilizada).

ASÍ SE OBTIENE UN POSIBLE UN RESULTADO EXACTO

A) Esperar al menos 15 Minutos después del último trago de alcohol hasta la prueba de alcohol. No comer, beber ni fumar durante este tiempo. B) No abrir la carcasa. No guardar la unidad de prueba de alcohol en un lugar frío, caliente, húmedo o mal ventilado. C) Mantenga la unidad de prueba de alcohol fuera del alcance de los niños. D) Después estar guardado mucho tiempo, haga tres pruebas antes de efectuar la verdadera prueba de alcohol. E) No deje caer la unidad de prueba de alcohol.

F) Reemplazar la pila si el rendimiento es bajo. Una pila baja produce resultados de prueba falsos. G) No realice ninguna prueba si hay ruido fuerte (la ondas sonoras afectan al sensor), o con corrientes de aire o en lugares mal ventilados. H) Después de un resultado de prueba de 1,00 por mil o superior el sensor necesita más tiempo de recuperación. Espere en este caso al menos tres minutos hasta la prueba siguiente. J) Guarde la unidad de prueba de alcohol de forma que no le entre polvo ni líquidos. PREPARACIÓN PARA LA PRUEBA

1. Recargue la batería de iones de litio (3,7 V) integrada en la unidad con el

cable de carga suministrado. Al iniciar el proceso de carga, aparece „CH“ en la pantalla y el indicador de batería parpadea al mismo tiempo, ambos desaparecen después de unos segundos. En cuanto finalice el proceso de carga, verá la palabra „FULL“ en la pantalla. A continuación, pulse el interruptor basculante debajo de la conexión del cable hacia arriba (aparece un fondo verde, el dispositivo ya se puede utilizar).

2. Coloque una boquilla en la abertura lateral para fijar las boquillas (= la

abertura en el lado izquierdo del panel frontal). Asegúrese de que la boquilla esté bien apretada. Utilice una boquilla nueva para cada sujeto (por razones higiénicas y para mantener la precisión de la medición, ya que una boquilla usada puede contener carbono residual en su interior).

REALIZACIÓN DE LA PRUEBA

1. Presione brevemente el botón de inicio en la parte delantera del probador

de alcohol. El dispositivo Suena 2 veces y la pantalla muestra „ALCO“ y el indicador de batería.

2. Pulsar de nuevo brevemente la tecla de inicio, aparece brevemente „SH“

(= Calefacción del sensor), luego „SH99“ y comienza una cuenta atrás de 30 a 0 (si el sensor necesita más tiempo para calentarse, la cuenta atrás comienza en 99). Durante la cuenta atrás, la unidad emite pitidos cada segundo y la pantalla alterna entre „READY “ y „BLOW“.

3. Una vez que comience la cuenta atrás, puede comenzar la prueba de

aliento. Soplar uniformemente en la boquilla previamente conectada durante 4 segundos. Simplemente exhale lentamente y sin interrupción (como si estuviera silbando). El dispositivo emite un sonido continuo durante la prueba de aliento.

4. Tan pronto como el pitido se detenga y se pueda escuchar un tono de clic y

un tono de pitido doble, la prueba habrá terminado. Si la muestra de aliento se interrumpió o fue demasiado débil, aparece „FLO“ en la pantalla. En este caso, vuelva a realizar la prueba y presione el botón de inicio durante 2 segundos.

5. Después de una prueba de aliento exitosa, el instrumento evalúa el resultado de la medición. La pantalla mostrará brevemente „Anly“ y luego mostrará inmediatamente el resultado por milla (= ajuste estándar de la unidad de medida en la UE). El resultado de la medición se puede ver durante unos 60 segundos y, a continuación, aparece „ALCO“ de nuevo en la pantalla. Para una nueva prueba, presione brevemente el botón de inicio una vez.

Nota: El aparato se apaga automáticamente después de aprox. 90 segundos.

Para otra prueba, simplemente presione el botón de inicio una vez brevemente. También puede apagar el aparato manualmente pulsando continuamente la tecla de inicio durante aprox. 4 segundos.

ACE INSTRUMENTS RECOMIENDA

• ¡Utilice siempre una boquilla nueva para cada persona! ACE Instruments no asume ninguna responsabilidad por cualquier daño causado por el uso de una boquilla para varias personas.

• Utilice siempre la boquilla ACE Instruments higiénica y envasada individualmente. En cada prueba con el aparato de pruebas entra en contacto excreciones humanas (sudor, saliva, sangre, etc.).

• Utilice guantes para quitar una boquilla usada, especialmente si se ha usado con personas extrañas. ACE Technik (www.ace-technik.de) incluye guantes apropiados en su surtido.

ADVERTENCIA IMPORTANTE

• Si ha comido algo, ha bebido alcohol o ha fumado un cigarrillo, debe esperar al menos 15 minutos antes de empezar con la medición.

• Esta unidad de prueba de alcohol es un medidor de alta calidad y sensible. Para mantener la precisión del sensor, el aparato debe ser utilizado regularmente. Si el aparato no se utilizado durante un período de tiempo largo, el sensor puede secarse. Por mes recomendamos realizar al menos 2 pruebas de alcohol (incluso si no se ha bebido alcohol).

• En valores de medición menores de 0,10‰ (O BIEN 0,01% BAC O BIEN 0,05mg/L según ajuste) el resultado de la prueba se indica como 0,00‰. Esto sucede porque en niveles muy bajos de alcohol puede haber otras sustancias en el aire aspirado que influyen en el resultado de la prueba.

• Las modificaciones del producto pueden cambiar el funcionamiento descrito. Esto puede realizarse sin previo aviso y la adaptación de las instrucciones no es ninguna razón para realizar reclamaciones, devoluciones o reducción del precio. Es responsabilidad del usuario reconocer y reaccionar a las divergencias entre el manual de instrucciones y el funcionamiento real.

CALIBRACIÓN

ACE Instruments recomienda la calibración del sensor del aparato aproximadamente cada 12 meses o después de 500 pruebas (lo que ocurra primero). La calibración no necesariamente tiene que hacerse, pero la precisión del sensor integrado está disminuyendo constantemente y la garantía del sensor se anula. Puede enviar el aparato para calibración a la dirección de servicio indicada en www.alkomat.net.

Recomendamos el envío como paquete para que en caso pérdida se pueda localizar mediante seguimiento.

NOTAS PARA LA BATERÍA

El dispositivo al que se hace referencia en este manual se entrega con una batería recargable de iones de litio de 3,7 V. Esta batería se puede recargar hasta 200 veces. La batería durará más tiempo si desliza hacia abajo el interruptor de activación de energía (en el lado derecho de la unidad) cuando la unidad no está en uso.

Si la batería está defectuosa o ya no es recargable, envíe el aparato a la dirección de servicio indicada en www.alkomat.net . No abra el aparato por su propia cuenta y no intente sustituir la pila usted mismo. ACE Instruments advierte que esto anulará la garantía.

GARANTÍA Y RESPONSABILIDADES

La empresa ACE Instruments (ACE Handels- und Entwicklungs GmbH) otorga para este producto, que se entrega con su correspondiente declaración de garantía y responsabilidades, en todas sus versiones y denominaciones, una garantía de dos años desde la fecha de su adquisición, garantía que cubre fallos tanto materiales como de fabricación; la garantía para el sensor es de un año. Esta garantía incluye la electrónica y la carcasa del aparato o hace referencia al sensor sin los componentes destinados a la toma de la prueba. Los componentes que al activarse son destruidos (por ejemplo fusibles) no se incluyen en la garantía. La garantía es válida desde la fecha de entrega o fecha de la primera puesta en servicio (siendo válido el período más corto), siempre y cuando en la documentación que acompaña al producto de la empresa ACE Instruments no conste otra cosa.

LIMITACIONES DE LA GARANTÍA Y DE LAS RESPONSABILIDADES

1. LIMITACIÓN DEL PRODUCTO

La empresa ACE Instruments declina cualquier otra garantía explícita o implícita, incluyendo la comerciabilidad o idoneidad para un determinado propósito. Especialmente, la garantía no es aplicable a la calibración del aparato. Después de un reemplazo del sensor es imperativo volver a calibrar el aparato.

Cuando en un producto se hiciera necesario reemplazar el sensor y/o realizar una calibración, bajo demanda el usuario recibirá un presupuesto. Si el usuario rechazara este presupuesto, la empresa ACE Instruments se limitará a devolver el producto no reparado / no calibrado, y dicho producto será identificado como tal.

En caso de que el producto no cumpliera con las condiciones de esta garantía, las exigencias del comprador y las obligaciones de la empresa ACE Instruments se limitarán – exclusivamente y según los criterios de ACE Instruments – al reemplazo o la reparación de las mercancías afectadas, o a la devolución del precio de compra de las mercancías reclamadas.

2. LIMITACIÓN DE LA UTILIZACIÓN

La empresa ACE Instruments en ningún caso se hace responsable de eventuales daños y perjuicios adicionales, daños incidentales o consecuentes, incluyendo eventuales reducciones de beneficios y pérdidas de uso que podrían resultar de la venta, fabricación o utilización de los productos vendidos bajo esta exención de responsabilidades, independientemente de si estas exigencias derivan de contratos, negligencias u otros actos ilícitos.

El producto al que se adjunta esta declaración de garantía y responsabilidad, independientemente de su versión o denominación, no podrá utilizarse de modo legalmente vinculante para evaluar la capacidad de una persona para conducir un vehículo o realizar cualquier otra acción cuya ejecución bajo la influencia del alcohol pudiera poner en peligro a dicha persona o a terceros.

Una inspección cuidadosa del producto en el momento de su entrega, una calibración adecuada para las aplicaciones específicas del comprador, la utilización exclusiva del aparato con los fines previstos así como la realización de las reparaciones y del mantenimiento según las instrucciones contenidas en la documentación del producto entregada por la empresa ACE Instruments son requisitos imperativos para la validez de esta garantía. Cualquier reparación o mantenimiento realizados por personal no cualificado o la utilización de materiales consumibles o piezas de recambio no autorizados tendrá como consecuencia la anulación de esta garantía. Como en todos los productos técnicamente sofisticados, una de las condiciones fundamentales y vinculantes para la garantía otorgada por la empresa ACE Instruments es que todos los usuarios de estos productos estén familiarizados con con el uso y con las capacidades y limitaciones del producto, tal como se describen en la documentación del producto.
