ZUR KALIBRIERUNG

Jeder Alkoholtester, der bei ACE Instruments gekauft wurde, kann auch von ACE Instruments kalibriert werden. Selbstverständlich kalibrieren wir auch Geräte, die woanders gekauft wurden, sofern diese Geräte baugleich zu den von ACE Instruments vertriebenen Geräten sind.

Sie sehen das Fälligkeitsdatum der nächsten Kalibrierung am Kalibrier-Aufkleber auf Ihrem Alkoholtester. Wenn der Aufkleber fehlt , dann sollte die Kalibrierung 6 Monate nach dem Kauf-datum erfolgen: z.B. Kaufdatum: 13.05. = nächste Kalibrierung am 13.11. und danach am 13.05. des folgenden Jahres.

WARUM IST EINE KALIBRIERUNG NOTWENDIG?

Die Kalibrierung muss nicht zwingend vorgenommen werden, die Genauigkeit des integrierten Sensors nimmt jedoch ohne Kalibrierung stetig ab und zusätzlich erlischt die Garantie, wenn die Kalibrier-Intervalle nicht eingehalten werden.

WELCHE FAKTOREN DIE MESSGENAUIGKEIT BEEINFLUSSEN

• Je öfter das Alkoholtestgerät verwendet wird, desto stärker verschiebt sich der Nullpunkt.

• Bei hohen Alkoholkonzentrationen verschiebt sich der Nullpunkt verstärkt.

• Bei wenig bis gar nicht genutzten Geräten nimmt die Empfindlichkeit des Sensors ebenso ab.

ACE Instruments empfiehlt, mindestens ein Mal (1x) pro Woche einen Test mit dem Alkoholtester durchzuführen, unabhängig davon, ob man Alkohol getrunken hat. Zum Erhalt der Messgenauigkeit sollte das Gerät außerdem regelmäßig kalibriert werden.

WICHTIGE HINWEISE ZUR TESTDURCHFÜHRUNG UND ZUR SELBSTEINSCHÄTZUNG

Nach dem letzten Schluck Alkohol sollte man mindestens 15 Minuten warten, da sich noch Restalkohol in der Mundhöhle befinden kann, der das Messergebnis beeinflusst. Rauchen sollte vor einem Test ebenso vermieden werden, da Zigarettenrauch dem Sensor schadet.

Für jeden Test sollte man ein neues Mundstück verwenden – nicht nur aus hygienischen Gründen, sondern auch, weil ein bereits benutztes Mundstück das nächste Messergebnis beeinflussen kann. Im Mundstück könnte sich Restalkohol befinden, der bei einem erneuten Gebrauch desselben Mundstückes das neue Testergebnis beeinflusst (damit würde z.B. bei einer nüchternen Person eventuell eine Alkoholisierung angezeigt werden).

Wenn am Display „FLo“ angezeigt wird, dann war die abgegebene Atemprobe nicht ausreichend oder sie wurde zu früh beendet. Pusten Sie bei Ihrer Atemprobe zirka 4 Sekunden konstant und am besten so, als ob Sie ohne Ton pfeifen würden. Die Atemprobe ist beendet, sobald ein zweifacher Piepton zu hören ist.

Wenn dieselbe Person 2 Tests hintereinander ausführt, dann sollte sie zwischen den beiden Tests mindestens 3 Minuten warten, da bei zu kurzer Wartezeit zu unterschiedliche Messwerte angezeigt werden können. Die aus der Lunge ausgeatmete Luft ist nach einem Test nicht mehr mit dem gleichen Alkoholgehalt angereichert wie beim kurz davor durchgeführten Test. Darum wird ein sofortiger zweiter Test einen geringeren Messwert anzeigen.

Alle mit diesem Alkoholtester ermittelten Messwerte sind stets nur ein Richtwert und nicht rechtsverbindlich.

WARUM DIE GEFÜHLTE ALKOHOLISIERUNG UND DAS MESSERGEBNIS OFT NICHT ÜBEREINSTIMMEN (KÖNNEN)

Bei einem Alkoholtest gibt es sehr viele verschiedene Faktoren, die die Höhe des Messwertes beeinflussen. Dazu zählen neben dem Geschlecht, Alter, der Körpergröße und dem Körpergewicht auch der Körperfettanteil sowie die Höhe des Anteils an Körperflüssigkeit.

Darüber hinaus sind auch der allgemeine physische und psychische Zustand bzw. die jeweilige Tagesverfassung zu berücksichtigen. Außerdem können die Art der Mahlzeiten vor dem Test (Art des Inhalts und Füllstand des Magens) und die Einnahme von Medikamenten den Messwert beeinflussen.

Zu den weiteren Einfluss-Faktoren gehören natürlich die Getränkeart (Prozentanteil des Alkoholgehaltes im Getränk sowie dessen Kohlensäure- und Zuckergehalt), die Trinkgeschwindigkeit und die von der Testperson abhängige, individuelle Dauer in Bezug auf den Alkohol-Aufbau bzw. den Alkohol-Abbau im Körper.

Manche Menschen haben schnell einen erhöhten Alkoholgehalt im Blut, bei anderen dauert es länger bis eine Alkoholisierung feststellbar ist. Etwa 40-50% des konsumierten Alkohols befinden sich innerhalb von 15 Minuten im Körper, nach 30 Minuten sind es 65% und nach spätestens 70 Minuten ist der zuvor konsumierte Alkohol zu 100% im Körper aufgenommen. Zu beachten ist dabei aber auch, dass manche Menschen – teils genetisch bedingt – den Alkoholgehalt im Blut schnell wieder abbauen, wogegen andere auch nach einem längeren Zeitraum noch einen erhöhten Alkoholgehalt im Blut aufweisen.

Each breathalyzer which you buy from ACE Instruments can also be calibrated by ACE Instruments. Of course, we also calibrate devices which were bought from other contractors, as long as these devices are identical in construction to the devices sold by ACE Instruments.

You can see the due date of the next calibration on the calibration sticker placed on your breathalyzer. If the sticker is missing, the calibration is to be done 6 months after the purchase date: e.g. purchase date: 13.05. = next calibration on the 13.11. and the next on the 13.05. of the following year.

For a calibration service you can send the device to the service address specified at www.alkomat.net.

WHY IS A CALIBRATION NECESSARY?

The calibration is not mandatory, but the accuracy of the sensor installed in the breathalyzer will decrease steadily without a calibration and additionally guarantee expires, if you don`t pay attention to the calibration ranges.

WHICH FACTORS INFLUENCE THE MEASUREMENT ACCURACY

• The more often the device is used the more the zero point is influenced.

• The higher the alcohol concentration is, the more the zero point is relocated.

• Devices which are used rarely have a decreased sensibility, too.

ACE Instruments recommends using the breathalyzer at least once (1x) a week independently of having drunken alcohol or not. To maintain the measurement accuracy, the breathalyzer should also be calibrated periodically.

IMPORTANT NOTES ON TEST EXECUTION AND SELF-ASSESSMENT

After the last sip of alcohol you should wait at least 15 minutes, as there may still be residual alcohol in the oral cavity, which influences the measurement result. Also smoking should be avoided before a test, as cigarette smoke harms the sensor.

For each test you should use a new mouthpiece – not only for hygienic reasons, but also because an already used mouthpiece can influence the next measurement result. The mouthpiece could contain residual alcohol, which would aect the new test result when the same mouthpiece is used again (this for example could show an alcoholization of a person who hasn`t drunken any alcohol).

If „FLo“ appears on the display, the given breath sample was insuicient or ended too soon. Blow into the moutpiece for about 4 seconds constantly (without a break) – preferably as if you were whistling without a sound.

If the same person performs 2 tests consecutively, then wait at least 3 minutes between the two tests, as a too short waiting time may cause dierent measurement results. The air exhaled from the lungs is, after a test, no longer enriched with the same alcohol content as in the previous test. Therefore, an immediate second test will indicate a lower test result.

All measured values determined with this breathalyzer are always indicative and not legally binding.

WHY THE ESTIMATED ALCOHOLIZATION AND THE MEASUREMENT RESULT IN MOST CASES CANNOT MAT C H

An alcohol test is aected by a lot of dierent factors which also aect the test result. Beside the gender, age, body size and body weight, also the body fat percentage and the amount of body fluid have a big influence.

In addition, the general physical and mental state or the current daily constitution have to be taken into consideration. Furthermore, the meals eaten before a breath test (type of content and level of the stomach) and the intake of medication may influence the measurement.

Other influencing factors are, of course, the t ype of drink (percentage of alcohol content in the beverage and its carbon dioxide and sugar content), the drinking rate and the individual subject‘s duration of alcohol build-up or degradation in the body.

Some people quickly have a high alcohol content in the blood, with other people it takes longer until an alcoholization is detected. About 40-50% of the consumed alcohol is in the body within 15 minutes, after 30 minutes it is 65% and after 70 minutes the previously consumed alcohol is 100% absorbed in the body. However, it should also be noted that some people – partly due to genetic factors – quickly reduce the alcohol content in the blood, whereas others still have an increased alcohol content in the blood after a longer period of time.

EINFÜHRUNG

Vielen Dank für den Kauf unseres Alkoholtesters INNOMARK beta! Er ist ein leicht bedienbares Alkoholmessgerät mit elektrochemischem Sensor. Das Gerät misst die Alkoholkonzentration in der Atemluft und berechnet daraus die Blutalkoholkonzentration. Dieses Gerät liefert Testergebnisse mit einer Messtoleranz von +/- 0,05‰ (Promille) beim Referenzwert von 0,50 Promille und 25℃ Umgebungstemperatur. Die Messeinheit ‰ (Promille bzw. g/L) ist die Grundeinstellung in der EU.

Die in Promille ermittelten Messergebnisse werden als 3-stelliger Zahlenwert mit 2 Dezimalstellen angezeigt und sind 1:1 interpretierbar (z.B. das Display zeigt den Wert 0,36 = 0,36 Promille).

Der im Gerät integrierte Sensor kann kalibriert werden. Zur Erhaltung der Messgenauigkeit dieses Gerätes und der Sensor-Garantie empfehlen wir eine regelmäßige Kalibrierung. Sie können das Gerät zum Kalibrieren an die unter www.alkomat.net angegebene Service-Adresse senden.

Das Gerät darf nur in Übereinstimmung mit den Anweisungen in der Bedienungsanleitung verwendet werden. Alle durch dieses Alkoholtestgerät ermittelten Messwerte dienen stets nur als Anhaltspunkt und sind nicht rechtsverbindlich. Atemtests sollten unter Verwendung von aufsteckbaren Mundstücken durchgeführt werden (pro Test sollte aus hygienischen Gründen und zur Vermeidung von verfälschten Messwerten ein neues Mundstück verwendet werden).

SO ERHALTEN SIE EIN MÖGLICHST GENAUES ERGEBNIS

A) Warten Sie nach dem letzten Schluck Alkohol mindestens 15 Minuten bis zum Alkoholtest. Essen, trinken und rauchen Sie während dieser Zeit nicht. B) Önen Sie das Gehäuse nicht. C) Bewahren Sie den Alkoholtester nicht an einem kalten oder heißen oder feuchten oder schlecht belüfteten Platz auf.

D) Bewahren Sie den Alkoholtester außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf. E) Führen Sie nach längerer Aufbewahrungszeit drei „Einlauftests“ durch, bevor Sie den eigentlichen Alkoholtest durchführen. F) Lassen Sie den Alkoholtester nicht fallen. G) Ersetzen Sie die Batterie, wenn ihre Leistung schwach ist. Verringerte Batteriekapazität führt zu falschen Testergebnissen. H) Führen Sie keinen Test in lauten (Schallwellen stören den Sensor), zugigen oder schlecht belüfteten Plätzen durch. I) Nach einem Testergebnis von 1,00 Promille oder höher benötigt der Sensor eine längere Erholungszeit. Warten Sie in diesem Fall mindestens drei Minuten bis zum nächsten Test . J) Führen Sie keinen Test durch in sehr kalter, sehr heißer oder unbelüfteter, rauchiger Umgebung. K) Bewahren Sie den Alkoholtester so auf, dass das Eindringen von Staub und Flüssigkeiten verhindert wird. L) Pusten Sie nicht zu stark in das Gerät, dies schadet dem Sensor (vor allem, wenn durch das Pusten viel Speichel in das Gerät gelangt).

VORBEREITUNG FÜR DEN TEST

1. Schieben Sie den Batteriefachdeckel (an der Rücksei-

te des Gerätes) nach unten und legen Sie 1 AA-Batterie (Alkaline, 1,5 V ) in das Batteriefach ein. Beachten Sie beim Einlegen und beim späteren Austausch einer alten gegen eine neue Batterie die Polarität (+/-) der Batterie.

2. Stecken Sie ein Mundstück auf die seitliche Önung zum

Anbringen der Mundstücke (= die Önung an der rechten Seite der Gerätefront). Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Mundstück festsitzt. Verwenden Sie für jede Testperson ein neues Mundstück (aus hygienieschen Gründen und zum Erhalt der Messgenauigkeit, da ein benutztes Mundstück im Inneren Restalkohl enthalten könnte).

TESTDURCHFÜHRUNG Mit dem Alkoholtester INNOMARK beta können Sie automatische und manuelle Tests durchführen. Automatischer Test: Der einfachste Weg, eine tiefe

Lungenprobe zu entnehmen. Das Strömungssystem des INNOMARK beta überwacht den Atem einer Person und entnimmt automatisch eine Probe am Ende des Atemflusses. Manueller Test: Wird normalerweise nur verwendet , wenn die Testperson nicht in der Lage ist, einen automatischen Test durchzuführen.

1. Für einen automatischen Test drücken Sie den Start- Knopf auf der Vorderseite des Gerätes für 2 Sekunden, dann hören Sie einen Signalton, zusätzlich startet ein Countdown und „WAIT“ blinkt in der linken unteren Ecke.

2. Warten Sie, bis Sie am Ende des Countdowns einen Piepton hören und dann „rdY“ auf dem Display sehen.

3. Sobald Sie „rdY“ auf dem Display sehen, beginnen Sie, 4 Sekunden lang gleichmäßig in das Mundstück zu pusten, das Gerät piept durchgehend während des Tests. Tipp: Pusten Sie so, als würden Sie ohne einen Ton pfeifen (aber ohne Pause). Hinweis: Sobald „rdY“ angezeigt wird, wartet das Gerät 8 Sekunden auf Ihre Atemprobe. Wenn kein Einpusten erkannt wird, dann wird „0,00“ am Display angezeigt.

4. Pusten Sie weiter und hören Sie erst auf, wenn Sie einen doppelten Piepston hören, dann ist der Test erfolgreich beendet. Wenn die Atemprobe nicht ausreichend war, hören Sie in Kürze 2 Pieptöne und sehen „C.---“ und dann „FLo“ auf dem Display. Das bedeutet, dass die Atemprobe nicht ausreichend war, also drücken Sie die Starttaste und starten Sie bitte einen neuen Test.

5. Nach einem erfolgreichen Test analysiert das Gerät die Atemprobe, Sie sehen „C.---“. (= „Berechnen“) auf der Anzeige. Nach kurzer Zeit hören Sie 2 Pieptöne und das Testergebnis wird (mit 4 Ziern und 3 Dezimalstellen) in Promille (‰ = g/L) angezeigt.

1. Für einen manuellen Test star ten Sie das Gerät wie oben

beschrieben.

2. Sobald Sie „rdY “ auf dem Display sehen, drücken Sie den

linken Bedienknopf.

3. Der manuelle Testmodus startet und Sie sehen ein blin-

kendes ‚rdY‘, das anzeigt, dass Sie nun mit dem Einpusten in das Gerät beginnen können.

4. Beginnen Sie, 4 Sekunden lang gleichmäßig in das

Mundstück zu pusten, das Gerät wird während des Tests ständig piepsen. Tipp: Pusten Sie so, als würden Sie ohne einen Ton (aber ohne Pause) pfeifen. Pusten Sie weiter und hören Sie erst auf, wenn Sie einen Doppelpiepston hören, dann ist der Test erfolgreich beendet.

5. Nach einem erfolgreichen Test analysiert das Gerät

die Atemprobe, Sie sehen „C.---“. (= „Berechnen“) auf der Anzeige. Nach kurzer Zeit hören Sie 2 Pieptöne und das Testergebnis wird (mit 4 Ziern und 3 Dezimalstellen) in Promille (‰ = g/L) angezeigt.

Hinweis: Es wird empfohlen, zwischen zwei Tests mindestens 5 Minuten zu warten, um eine Überlastung des Sensors zu vermeiden und die Qualität des Sensors so lange wie möglich zu erhalten. Bei Nichtgebrauch schaltet sich das Gerät nach 30 Sekunden automatisch aus, zusätzlich hören Sie einen Piepton. Wenn Sie einen neuen Test durchführen möchten, so drücken Sie bitte den Start-Knopf. Sie können das Gerät manuell ausschalten, wenn Sie den Einschalt-/ Ausschalt-Knopf 3 Sekunden lang gedrückt halten.

TESTAUFZEICHNUNGSSPEICHERMODUS Abruf der kumulierten Prüfzahl

Drücken Sie während des Countdowns kurz den Einschalt-/Ausschalt-Knopf (1x ), um den kumulierten Testzähler anzuzeigen = die Anzahl aller bisher durchgeführten Tests. Diese Anzahl hilft Ihnen bei der Überprüfung, ob ein Kalibrier-Service nötig ist (siehe Kapitel „Kalibrierung“ für weitere Details). Sie können diesen Zähler zurücksetzen (was nicht empfohlen wird), indem Sie die linke Taste drücken, bis der Zähler auf Null zurückgesetzt wird.

Abruf früherer Testergebnisse (bis zu 16 Datensätze)

Drücken Sie während des Countdowns den Einschalt-/Ausschalt-Knopf (2x), um die neuesten Testergebnisse (beginnend mit dem letzten Test) anzuzeigen. Zuerst sehen Sie die Testnummer und dann das mit dieser Nummer gespeicherte Testergebnis. Wenn Sie den linken Knopf drücken, sehen Sie die nächste gespeicherte Testnummer und anschließend das Testergebnis. Wenn Sie die gespeicherten Ergebnisse in umgekehrter Reihenfolge sehen möchten, drücken Sie die rechte Taste. Wenn Sie den Testaufnahmemodus verlassen und zum Countdown zurückkehren möchten, drücken Sie kurz (1x) den Einschalt-/Ausschalt-Knopf.

ACE INSTRUMENTS EMPFIEHLT

• Benutzen Sie für jede testende Person immer ein neues Mundstück! ACE Instruments übernimmt keine Verantwortung für jegliche Schäden, die durch den Gebrauch eines Mundstückes durch mehrere Personen und für mehrere Tests entstehen können.

• Benützen Sie stets die hygienisch und einzeln verpackten ACE Instruments Mundstücke. Das Testgerät kommt bei jedem Test innen und außen mit menschlichen Ausscheidungen in Kontakt (Schweiß, Speichel, Blut etc.).

• Benützen Sie Handschuhe, wenn Sie die für einen Test verwendeten Mundstücke vom Gerät abnehmen, vor allem dann, wenn fremde Personen den Test durchgeführt haben. ACE Technik (www.ace-technik.de) führt in seinem Sortiment dafür geeignete Handschuhe.

WICHTIGE HINWEISE

• Wenn Sie etwas gegessen, Alkohol getrunken oder eine Zigarette geraucht haben, so warten Sie mindestens 15 Minuten bevor Sie mit der Messung beginnen.

• Dieser Alkoholtester ist ein hochwertiges und empfindliches Messgerät. Um die Messgenauigkeit des Sensors aufrechtzuhalten, sollte das Gerät regelmäßig benutzt werden. Wird das Gerät über einen längeren Zeitraum nicht benutzt, so kann der Sensor austrocknen. Wir empfehlen, den Alkoholtester mindestens 2x pro Monat für Alkoholtests zu verwenden (auch wenn Sie keinen Alkohol getrunken haben).

• Bei Messwerten unter 0,10‰ (ODER 0,010% BAC ODER 0,050mg/L – je nach Einstellung) wird das Testergebnis als 0,00 (‰ ODER mg/L ODER % BAC – je nach Einstellung) angezeigt. Dies geschieht deshalb, weil bei einem geringen Alkohollevel andere Substanzen in der Atemluft enthalten sein können, welche das Ergebnis der Atemprobe beeinflussen.

• Durch Änderungen am Produkt können sich die beschriebenen Abläufe ändern. Dies kann ohne Vorankündigung und Anpassung der Bedienungsanleitung geschehen und ist kein Grund zur Reklamation, Retoure oder Preisminderung. Es liegt in der Verantwortung des Anwenders, Abweichungen zwischen der Bedienungsanleitung und der tatsächlichen Bedienung dieses Atemalkoholtesters zu erkennen und entsprechend zu reagieren.

NUR DIE VERWENDUNG VON ORIGINAL ACE INSTRUMENTS MUNDSTÜCKEN

KALIBRIERUNG

ACE Instruments empfiehlt die Kalibrierung des im Gerät integrierten Sensors alle 6 bis spätestens 12 Monate oder nach 300 Tests (je nachdem, welches Ereignis früher eintritt). Die Kalibrierung muss nicht zwingend vorgenommen werden, die Genauigkeit des integrierten Sensors nimmt jedoch ohne Kalibrierung stetig ab und zusätzlich erlischt die Garantie für den Sensor. Sie können das Gerät zum Kalibrieren an die unter www.alkomat.net angegebene Service-Adresse senden.

Wir empfehlen die Einsendung als Paket, damit im Fall der Unauindbarkeit der Abliefernachweis bzw. Nachforschungsauftrag möglich ist.

HINWEISE ZU DEN BATTERIEN

Das Gerät, auf das sich diese Bedienungsanleitung bezieht, wird mit 1 AA Alkaline-Batterie betrieben. Diese Batterie ist nicht dazu bestimmt, wieder aufgeladen zu werden. Ebenso ist die Verwendung einer wiederaufladbaren Batterie im Gerät zu unterlassen, da sonst Schaden am Gerät entsteht.

Ist eine Batterie leer, so darf sie nicht in den Hausmüll geworfen werden. Altbatterien enthalten möglicherweise Schadstoe, die Umwelt und Gesundheit schaden können. Bitte geben Sie die Batterien/Akkus im Handel oder an den Recyclinghöfen der Kommunen ab. Die Rückgabe ist unentgeltlich und gesetzlich vorgeschrieben. Zum Batterietausch schieben Sie die Batteriefach-Abdeckung an der Rückseite des Gerätes nach unten und ersetzen Sie die entladene Batterie gegen eine neue Batterie.

Achten Sie beim Einlegen der Batterie auf deren Polarität: Der Minuspol der Batterie muss mit den Federn in der Batteriemulde Kontakt haben. Schließen Sie die Batteriefach-Abdeckung anschließend wieder vorsichtig.

Sollte das Produkt diese Gewährleistung nicht erfüllen, beschränkt sich der Anspruch des Käufers und die Pflichten der ACE Instruments ausschließlich und nach freiem Ermessen der ACE Instruments auf den Austausch oder die Reparatur der betroenen Waren oder auf eine Erstattung des Kaufpreises für die beanstandeten Waren.

2. ANWENDUNGSBESCHRÄNKUNG

Instandsetzungs- oder Wartungsarbeiten durch nicht qualifiziertes Personal führen ebenso zum Erlöschen der Garantie wie die Verwendung nicht freigegebener Verbrauchsmaterialien oder Ersatzteile. INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing our INNOMARK beta Breathalyzer! It measures the alcohol concentration in human breath using an electrochemical sensor and calculates the blood alcohol level. The test results are very reliable and have a tolerance of +/- 0.05‰ (per mill = g/L) with reference to 0.50‰ at 25°C ambient temperature. The measurement results are displayed as 3-digit number with 2 decimals and are interpretable 1: 1 (for example the display shows the value 0.36 = 0.36 per mill).

The sensor inside the device can be calibrated. To maintain the measurement accuracy of this device and the sensor warranty, it should be calibrated regularly. For a calibration service you can send the device to the service address specified at www.alkomat.net.

The device must only be used pursuant to the instructions mentioned in this manual. All measured values determined by this breathalyzer are always a guide only and are not legally binding. Breath tests should be carried out using clipon mouthpieces (one new mouthpiece should be used per test for reasons of hygiene and to avoid falsified readings).

NOTE TO COUNTRY-SPECIFIC MEASUREMENT UNITS

Customers in the EU receive the breathalyzer with ‰ (per mill) as default setting, in the UK the default setting is mg/L , and in the USA, it is % BAC. In the chapter „Technical data,“ you will find information about the accuracy concerning the dierent measurement units. Please check the website of the Department of Transportation, the website of the Ministry of Transport, or automotive clubs to become informed about the current alcohol limits in your country.

TIPS TO RECEIVE THE MOST ACCURACTE RESULTS

A) Wait at least 15 minutes after your last sip of alcohol. Do not eat, drink, or smoke during that time. B) Do not open the casing. C) Do not keep the breathalyzer in cold, hot, moist, or badly ventilated places. D) Keep the breathalyzer out of the reach of children. E) Conduct three inlet tests after long storage before conducting the actual alcohol test. F) Do not drop the breathalyzer. G) Change the battery if it is depleted. Diminished battery capacity leads to incorrect test results. H) Do not conduct tests in loud (sound waves disrupt the sensor), drafty, or poorly ventilated places. I) After a test result of 1.00 per mill (per mill = EU setting) /

0.10% BAC (% BAC = US setting) / 0.50mg/L (mg/L = UK setting) or higher the sensor needs rest time. In this case wait at least three minutes before starting the next test. J) Do not conduct tests in very cold, very hot, or an unventilated, smoky ambience. K) Store the breathalyzer in a way to avoid penetration by dust or liquids. L) Blowing too hard may cause damage to the sensor as saliva flows into it.

PREPARATION FOR THE TEST

1. Push the battery cover (on the back of the device) downwards and open it. Install one (1) AA batterie in the battery compartment while taking note of the battery polarity. Close the battery cover again.

2. Insert a mouthpiece into the slot on the right front side of the breathalyzer. Ensure whether it securely fits or not. It is highly recommended to use an extra mouthpiece for every test for sanitary reasons.

CONDUCTING THE MEASUREMENT With the INNOMARK beta breathalyzer you can conduct automatic and manual tests. Automatic test: The easiest way to collect a deep lung

sample. The flow system of the INNOMARK beta monitors a person`s breath and automatically takes a sample near the end of the breathy flow. Manual test: Normally used only if the test person is unable to conduct an automatic test.

1. For an automatic test push the power button on the front

of the device for 2 seconds, then you hear one beep tone, additionally a countdown starts and “WAIT” is blinking in the left bottom corner.

2. Wait until the end of the countdown you hear 1 beep tone

and then you see “rdY” on the display.

3. As soon as you see “rdY” on the display start blowing

steadily into the mouthpiece for 4 seconds, the device will beep constantly during the test. Tip: Blow like you would whistle without a tone (but without a break). Note: As soon as „rdY“ is displayed, the device will wait 8 seconds for your breath sample. If no blow-in is detected, „0.00“ is shown on the display.

4. Keep blowing and only stop when you hear a double

beep beep tone, then the test is successfully finished. If the breath sample was not suicient you shortly will hear 2 beep tones and you will see “C.---” and then „FLo“ on the display. This means the breath sample was not suicient, so push the start button and start a new test.

5. After a successful test, the device analyses the breath

sample, you will see „C.---“. (= „Calculate“) on the display. After a short while you will hear 2 beeps and the test result will be displayed (with 4 digits and 3 decimal places) in per mill (‰ = g/L).

1. For a manual test you start the device like described above.

2. As soon as you see “rdY” on the display, push the left button.

3. The manual test mode will start and you will see a flashing “rdY” indicating that you can now star t blowing into the unit.

4. Start blowing steadily into the mouthpiece for 4 seconds, the device will beep continuously during the test. Tip: Blow as if you were whistling without a sound (but without pause). Continue blowing and do not stop until you hear a double beep, then the test is successfully completed.

5. After a successful test, the device analyses the breath sample, you will see „C.---“. (= „Calculate“) on the display. After a short while you will hear 2 beeps and the test result will be displayed (with 4 digits and 3 decimal places) in per mill (‰ = g/L).

Note: It is recommended to wait at least 5 minutes between two tests to avoid overloading the sensor and to maintain the quality of the sensor for as long as possible. If it is not in use the device will turn o automatically after 30 seconds, additionally you hear 1 beep tone. If you want to conduct a new test, please press the power button. You can turn o the device manually if you constantly press the power button for 3 seconds.

TEST RECORD MEMORY MODE Recall cumulative test count

Shortly press the “Power” button (1x) during the countdown, so you can display the cumulative test count – the number of all tests which were done so far. This number also helps you to check if a calibration service is needed (see chapter “Calibration” for more details). You can reset this counter (which is not recommended) if you press the left button until the counter is reset to zero.

Recall previous test results (up to 16 records)

Shortly press the “Power” button (2x) during the countdown, so you can display the latest test results (beginning with the last test). First you see the test number and then the test result saved with this number. If you press the left button you can see the next saved test number followed by the

test result. If you want to see the saved results ion backward order, press he right button. If you want to leave the test record memory mode and go back to the countdown, then shortly (1x ) press the “Power” button.

ACE INSTRUMENTS RECOMMENDS

• Always use a new mouthpiece for each person and test that is conducted. ACE Instruments assumes no liability for any damages that may arise when several people use the same mouthpiece for multiple tests.

• Only use the provided individually packaged and hygienic mouthpieces. During each test the breathalyzer’s internal and external parts come into contact with human secretion (saliva, blood, sweat, etc.)!

• Use safety gloves when pulling out a mouthpiece used by another person! You can buy appropriate gloves at ACE Technik (www.ace-technik.de).

IMPORTANT NOTICE

• WHEN YOU HAVE EATEN, DRUNKEN ALCOHOL OR SMOKED A CIGARETTE , WAIT AT LEAST 15 MINUTES BEFORE STARTING THE MEASUREMENT. ANY TEST CONDUCTED PRIOR TO THE EXPIRATION OF THE RECOMMENDED WAITING PERIOD WILL RESULT IN INACCURATE RE SU LTS .

• IF THE TEST RESULT IS BELOW 0.10‰ (PER MILL = g/L) OR 0.010% BAC (US setting) OR 0.050mg/L (UK settting) THEN THE DEVICE SHOWS 0.00 (‰ OR % BAC OR mg/L – depending on the setting) ON THE DISPLAY. THIS HAPPENS BECAUSE AT A LOW RANGE OF ALCOHOL CONCENTRATION IT IS POSSIBLE TO MEASURE OTHER MATERIALS IN YOUR MOUTH.

• This breathalyzer is a high quality and sensitive measurement device. To maintain the accuracy of the sensor, it should regularly be used. If the device is not used for an extended period of time, the sensor can dry out. ACE Instruments recommends using the breathalyzer at least 2 times per month (even if you have not been drinking alcohol).

ACE INSTRUMENTS ADVISES even if you get a result meaning „safe range“, you should never drive after consuming alcohol or do any other activities that are severely impaired by alcohol consumption and might endanger your health and safety or the health and safety of others.

This means that the sensor is not ready for a breath sample. This happens if high concentration of alcohol residue or pollutant is found on the sensor after the last test.

The device could not complete the test successfully. Another cause could be the environmental surrounding temperature is high.

The testing cannot be performed because the device is turned on outside of the operating temperature.

The testing cannot be performed because the battery is low.

Switch o the device and wait at least 5 minutes before starting it again.

Please press the Power button and perform a new test. Repeat the test when the environmental surroundig temperature is lower.

For optimal accuracy, repeat the test after the unit was brought to a room temperature environment (10°C up to 40°C).

Replace the battery with 1 new AA Alkaline battery.

CALIBRATION

To maintain the accuracy of the breathalyzer, ACE Instruments recommends a calibration after 6 up to maximum 12 months or after 300 tests (depending which incident happens first). For a calibration ser vice you can send the device to ACE Instruments (see www.alkomat.net). The calibration is not mandatory, but the accuracy of the breathalyzer will decrease steadily without it and additionally the warranty for the sensor expires.

We recommend sending it as a parcel, so that in case of loss an inquiry or proof of delivery is possible.

BATTERY NOTICES

The device is run with one (1) AA Alkaline batterie (1.5 V). This battery is not made for recharging. The use of a rechargeable battery is not possible with this device and can damage it. If the included battery is depleted, it must not be thrown into the household waste. Used batteries may contain harmful substances that can cause environmental or health damage. Please return all depleted batteries to electrical appliance stores, who collect them for free.

BATTERY EXCHANGE

To replace the batter y, push the battery cover on the rear of the unit downwards and replace the discharged batteries with a new one. Be aware of the polarity when inserting the batteries (+/- pole). Close the battery compartment cover again. In the EU the return of used batteries is mandatory by law. All depleted batteries and also rechargeable batteries will be recycled. This way valuable resources like iron, zinc and nickel can be retrieved and are reusable then. Battery recycling is the easiest lesson in environmental protection – so please support it!

The shown garbage bins mean that batteries or rechargeable batteries must not be thrown into the household waste. The signs below the garbage bins are acronyms for the chemical substances inside the battery:

WARRANTY AND LIABILIT Y

ACE Handels- und Entwicklungs GmbH (ACE Instruments) provides a warranty of two years after purchase for material and processing errors of the product (see attached warranty and liability declaration) in all versions and designations; and a warranty of one year for the sensor. This warranty includes the electronics as well as the casing and sensor without sampling components. Components that inevitably degrade over time (such as fuses) are not part of this warranty. The warranty is valid from the date of delivery or from the date of first activation (always the shor ter period), if not stated otherwise in the accompanying ACE Instruments product literature.

LIMITATION OF WARRANTY AND LIABILITY

ACE Instruments rejects any further expressly stated or implied warranty, including the marketability and suitability for a determined purpose. This warranty especially excludes calibration. After changing the sensor, calibration is absolutely necessary. If an exchange of the sensor or a calibration is required for a product, the user may receive a cost estimate. Should the user reject the estimate, ACE Instruments will send the product back unrepaired/not calibrated and the product will be labelled accordingly. Should the product not fulfil the warranty, the claim of the buyer and the obligations of ACE Instruments are limited exclusively to the discretion of ACE Instruments for exchange, repair of the aected goods or reimbursement of the purchasing price for the faulty merchandise.

2. APPLICATION RESTRICTION

ACE Instruments is by no means liable for additional, incidental or consequential damage such as, among others, lost profit and downtime that result from selling, producing or using products that are part of this application restriction. This is independent of any claims emanating from, for instance, contracts, negligence or other culpable actions. The product, which is accompanied by this warranty and liability declaration (no matter the version or designation), in particular cannot be used in a legally binding manner to

determine one’s capability to operate vehicles or execute action that could lead to personal injury or injur y to others under the influence of alcohol.

The thorough check for damage of all products upon receipt, calibration suitable for the given use by the buyer and the proper use, maintenance and service according to the instructions of the accompanying ACE Instruments product literature are mandatory prerequisites of this warranty. Maintenance and service work performed by non-qualified persons as well as the use of non-approved consumables or spare parts results in the voiding of this warranty. As for all technically challenging products, it is a fundamental prerequisite and mandatory for ACE Instruments warranty that all users of these product are familiar with the properties and restrictions of the devices as stated in the respective literature.

3. ADVICE RESTRICTION

The buyer is solely responsible and confirms that they have checked the intended use and suitability of purchased goods for any purpose. Between the two parties it is expressly agreed that all technical or other advice given by ACE Instruments regarding the use of goods or services is free of charge and made under risk to the buyer exclusively. INTRODUCTION

Merci d‘avoir acheté notre testeur d‘alcool INNOMARK beta! C‘est un appareil de mesure facile à utiliser avec un capteur électrochimique. L‘appareil mesure la concentration d‘alcool dans l‘air expiré et en déduit la le taux d‘alcool dans le sang. Cela signifie que la marge d‘erreur est de +/- 0,05‰ (pour mille = g/L) pour une valeur de référence de 0,50 pour mille et 25°C température ambiante. Les résultats mesurés sont aichés sous forme de valeur numérique à 3 chires avec 2 décimales (‰ ou mg/L) et sont interprétables 1:1 (si par ex . l‘écran aiche la valeur 0,36 = 0,36 pour mille).

Le capteur intégré à l‘appareil peut être étalonné. Pour maintenir la précision de mesure de cet appareil et la garantie du capteur, nous recommandons un étalonnage régulier. Vous pouvez envoyer l‘appareil pour l‘étalonnage à l‘adresse de service indiquée sur www.alkomat.net.

L‘appareil ne doit être utilisé que dans le complet respect des instructions d‘utilisation. VOICI COMMENT OBTENIR LE RÉSULTAT LE PLUS PRÉCIS POSSIBLE

A) Attendez au moins 15 minutes après la dernière gorgée d‘alcool avant de tester votre alcoolémie. Pendant ce laps de temps, abstenez-vous de manger, de boire ou de fumer. B) N‘ouvrez pas le boîtier. C) Stockez l‘unité de test d‘alcool à l‘abri du froid ou de la chaleur, dans un endroit sec et bien aéré. D) Stockez l‘unité de test d‘alcool hors de portée des enfants. E) Après une longue durée sans utiliser l‘appareil, eectuez trois tests de fonctionnement, avant de procéder au test eectif. F) Ne faites pas tomber l‘unité de test d‘alcool. G) Remplacez les piles lorsque la performance de l‘appareil faiblit. Une capacité réduite des piles conduirait à des résultats erronés. H) Ne faites pas de test dans un endroit bruyant (les ondes sonores perturbent le capteur), exposé aux courants d‘airs ou mal aérés. I) Après un résultat de 1,00 pour mille ou au-delà, le capteur a besoin d‘un temps de repos plus long. Dans ce cas, attendez au moins trois minutes avant tout nouveau test. J) N‘eectuez pas de test dans un environnement très froid ou très chaud, sans aération ou enfumé. K) Stockez l‘unité de test d‘alcool de sorte qu‘aucune intrusion de poussière ou de liquide ne soit possible. L) Ne soulez pas trop fort dans l‘appareil, cela endommage le capteur (notamment si beaucoup de salive entre dans l‘appareil).

PRÉPARATION POUR LE TEST

1. Faites glisser le couvercle du compartiment des piles (à l‘arrière de l‘appareil) et insérez une pile AA (alcaline, 1,5 V) dans le compartiment des piles. Lors de l‘insertion et du remplacement ultérieur d‘une pile usagée par une pile neuve, respectez la polarité (+/-) de la pile.

2. Placer un embout buccal sur l‘ouverture latérale pour fixer les embouts (= l‘ouverture sur le côté droit du panneau avant). Assurez-vous que l‘embout buccal est bien serré. Utiliser un nouvel embout buccal pour chaque sujet

(pour des raisons d‘hygiène et pour maintenir la précision de la mesure, car un embout buccal usagé peut contenir du carbone résiduel à l‘intérieur).

PROCÉDURE DE TEST Avec le testeur d‘alcool INNOMARK beta vous pouvez eectuer des tests automatiques et manuels. Test automatique: La façon la plus simple de prélever un

échantillon pulmonaire profond. Le système de débit bêta d‘INNOMARK surveille la respiration d‘une personne et prélève automatiquement un échantillon à la fin du débit. Test manuel: Normalement utilisé uniquement lorsque le sujet est incapable d‘eectuer un test automatique.

1. Pour un test automatique, appuyez pendant 2 secondes

sur le bouton de démarrage à l‘avant de l‘appareil, puis vous entendrez un bip sonore, en plus un compte à rebours commence et „WAIT“ clignote dans le coin inférieur gauche.

2. Attendez d‘entendre un bip à la fin du compte à rebours

et voyez „rdY“ sur l‘aichage.

3. Dès que vous voyez „rdY“ sur l‘écran, soulez

uniformément dans l‘embout buccal pendant 4 secondes, l‘appareil émet un bip continu pendant le test. Conseil : Soulez comme si vous siliez sans son (mais sans pause). Remarque : dès que „rdY“ s‘aiche, l‘appareil attend 8 secondes votre échantillon d‘haleine. Si aucun soulage n‘est détecté, „0.00“ est aiché à l‘écran.

4. Continuez à souler et n‘arrêtez que lorsque vous

entendez un double bip sonore, puis le test est terminé avec succès. Si l‘échantillon d‘haleine n‘était pas suisant, vous entendrez 2 bips brièvement et vous verrez „C.---“ et ensuite „FLo“ sur l‘aichage. Cela signifie que l‘échantillon d‘haleine n‘était pas suisant, alors appuyez sur le bouton de démarrage et commencez un nouveau test.

5. Après un test réussi, l‘appareil analysera l‘échantillon

d‘haleine, vous verrez „C.---“. (= „Calculer “) à l‘écran. Après un court moment, vous entendrez 2 bips et le résultat du test sera aiché (avec 4 chires et 3 décimales) en par mil (‰ = g/L).

3. Le mode de test manuel démarre et vous verrez un „rdY“ clignotant indiquant que vous pouvez maintenant commencer à souler dans l‘appareil.

4. Commencez à souler uniformément dans l‘embout buccal pendant 4 secondes, l‘appareil émettra un bip continu pendant le test. Conseil : soulez comme si vous siliez sans bruit (mais sans pause). Continuez à souler et ne vous arrêtez pas avant d‘avoir entendu un double bip, puis le test est terminé avec succès.

5. Après un test réussi, l‘appareil analysera l‘échantillon d‘haleine, vous verrez „C.---“. (= „Calculer “) à l‘écran. Après un court moment, vous entendrez 2 bips et le résultat du test sera aiché (avec 4 chires et 3 décimales) en par mil (‰ = g/L).

Remarque: Il est recommandé d‘attendre au moins 5 minutes entre deux tests pour éviter de surcharger le capteur et pour maintenir la qualité du capteur le plus longtemps possible. Lorsqu‘il n‘est pas utilisé, l‘appareil s‘éteint automatiquement après 30 secondes et vous entendrez un bip. Si vous souhaitez eectuer un nouveau test, veuillez appuyer sur le bouton de démarrage. Vous pouvez éteindre l‘appareil manuellement en appuyant sur le bouton marche/arrêt pendant 3 secondes.

TEST DU MODE MÉMOIRE D‘ENREGISTREMENT Appel du chire de contrôle cumulé

Pendant le compte à rebours, appuyez brièvement sur la touche Marche/Arrêt (1x) pour aicher le compteur cumulatif de tests = le nombre de tests eectués à ce jour. Ce numéro vous aide à vérifier si un service de calibrage est nécessaire (voir chapitre „Calibrage“ pour plus de détails). Vous pouvez réinitialiser ce compteur (ce qui n‘est pas recommandé) en appuyant sur le bouton gauche jusqu‘à ce que le compteur soit remis à zéro.

Récupération des résultats de tests précédents (jusqu‘à 16 enregistrements)

Pendant le compte à rebours, appuyez sur la touche Marche/Arrêt (2x) pour aicher les derniers résultats du test (en commençant par le dernier test). Vous verrez d‘abord le numéro du test, puis le résultat du test enregistré avec ce numéro. Si vous appuyez sur le bouton de gauche, vous verrez le prochain numéro de test enregistré et ensuite le résultat du test. Si vous voulez voir les résultats enregistrés dans l‘ordre inverse, appuyez sur le bouton droit. Si vous voulez quitter le mode d‘enregistrement de test et revenir au compte à rebours, appuyez brièvement (1x) sur le bouton Power.

RECOMMANDATIONS D’ACE INSTRUMENTS

• Utilisez un embout diérent pour chaque personne faisant le test ! ACE Instruments décline toute responsabilité en cas de dommage causé par l’utilisation d’un même embout par plusieurs personnes ou pour plusieurs tests.

• Utilisez toujours les embouts ACE Instruments emballés de façon séparée et hygiénique. À chaque test, l’appareil entre en contact avec des sécrétions humaines externes comme internes (transpiration, salive, sang, etc.).

• Utilisez des gants lorsque vous retirez l’embout employé pour un test, surtout si le test a été eectué par une personne que vous ne connaissez pas. ACE Technik (www.ace-technik.de) propose, dans sa gamme de produits, des gants prévus à cet eet.

PRÉCISIONS IMPORTANTES

• Si vous avez mangé, bu de l‘alcool ou fumé une cigarette, attendez au moins 15 minutes avant de commencer la mesure.

• Cette unité de test d‘alcool est un appareil sensible et de grande qualité. Afin de préserver la précision de mesure du capteur, l‘appareil doit être utilisé régulièrement. En cas d‘inutilisation prolongée de l‘appareil, le capteur peut s‘assécher. Nous conseillons d‘utiliser l‘éthylotest au moins 2x par mois (même si vous n‘avez pas bu d‘alcool).

• Pour les valeurs en dessous de 0,10‰ (OU 0,010% BAC OU 0,050mg/L – selon le réglage), le résultat aiché sera 0,00‰. Cela s‘explique par le fait que pour un faible niveau d‘alcoolémie d‘autres substances peuvent être contenues dans l‘air expiré et influer sur le résultat du test.

• Des modifications sur le produit peuvent aboutir à une modification des échéances annoncées . Cela peut se produire sans avertissement préalable et sans adaptation du mode d‘emploi et ne constitue en rien un motif de réclamation, de retour ou de réduction du prix. Il est de la responsabilité de l‘utilisateur d‘identifier les divergences entre le mode d‘emploi et l‘utilisation eective et de réagir en conséquence.

Cette lettre signifie que l'appareil a détecté une concentration d'alcool hors plage élevée (= au-dessus de 2,00‰ (g/L) / 0,200% BAC / 1,000mgL).

Le volume d'échantillonnage n'était pas suisant ou la puissance de soulage était trop inégale pour analyser l'échantillon d'haleine.

Cela signifie que le capteur n'est pas prêt pour un échantillon d'haleine. Cela se produit si une concentration élevée de résidus d'alcool ou de polluants est détectée sur le capteur après le dernier test.

Aucune mesure n'est requise.

Veuillez eectuer un nouveau test. Appuyez sur le bouton de démarrage, le compte à rebours recommencera. Commencez à respirer dès que "rdY" s'aiche à l'écran.

Eteignez l'appareil et attendez au moins 5 minutes avant de le rallumer.

CALIBRAGE

ACE Instruments recommande le calibrage du capteur intégré à l‘appareil tous les 6 à 12 mois environ ou après 300 tests (quel que soit l‘événement entre plus tôt). Le calibrage n‘est pas obligatoire, cependant la précision du capteur intégré à l‘unité d‘alcool test diminue progressivement en l‘absence de calibrage. Sans étalonnage, cependant, la garantie du capteur expire. Pour faire calibrer votre appareil, vous pouvez l‘envoyer à l‘adresse indiquée ici: www.alkomat.net.

Nous recommandons un envoi sous forme de colis, de sorte qu‘en cas de perte il soit possible de produire une preuve de dépôt ou de faire une demande de recherche.

LES NOTES AFFÉRENTES AUX BATTERIES

L‘appareil que concerne le présent mode d‘emploi est livré avec 1 pile alcaline AA. Cette pile n‘est pas rechargeable. Toute tentative pour les recharger peut entraîner des dommages matériels et personnels. L‘utilisation de piles rechargeables sur cet appareil n‘est également pas possible, sous peine d‘endommager l‘appareil. Si la batterie est vide, ne la jetez pas aux ordures ménagères.

Une fois les piles déchargées, veuillez ne pas les jeter à la poubelle. Les piles usagées contiennent des substances toxiques qui peuvent nuire à l‘environnement et à la santé. Veuillez vous débarrasser des piles dans les endroits prévus à cet eet chez certains commerçants ou à la déchetterie de votre commune. Cette restitution est gratuite et obligatoire. Veuillez ne jeter les piles déchargées que dans les conteneurs prévus à cet eet et, dans le cas des piles au lithium, veuillez en coller les pôles.

REMPLACEMENT DES PILES

Pour remplacer la pile, faites glisser le couvercle du compartiment des piles à l‘arrière de l‘appareil et remplacez la pile déchargée par une neuve.

Lors de l‘insertion de la pile, faites attention à sa polarité: La borne négative de la pile doit être en contact avec les ressorts du logement de pile. Refermez ensuite avec précaution le couvercle du compartiment des piles.

Le recyclage des piles est un jeu d‘enfant. Le symbole « corbeille à papier » signifie que les piles ne doivent pas être jetées à la poubelle. Elles peuvent être recyclées et les matières premières telles que le fer, le zinc et le nickel sont récupérées.

Si l‘utilisateur refuse le devis estimatif des frais, la Sarl ACE Instruments renvoie le produit non réparé / non calibré et le produit est marqué en conséquence.

Comme pour tous les produits techniquement sophistiqués, la condition préalable fondamentale et contraignante de la garantie de la Sarl ACE Instruments est que tous les utilisateurs de ces produits soient familiarisés avec l‘utilisation, les capacités et les limitations du produit, telles qu’elles sont décrites dans la littérature relative au produit.

Bedankt voor het kopen van onze Alcoholtester INNOMARK beta! Hij is een eenvoudig te gebruiken alcoholmeter met elektrochemische sensor. Hij meet de alcoholconcentratie in de lucht en berekent de alcoholconcentratie in het bloed. De meetresultaten verkregen per mille worden weergegeven als een getal van 3 cijfers met 2 decimalen en zijn interpreteerbaar 1:1 (het display geeft bijvoorbeeld de waarde 0.36 = 0.36 per duizend). De sensor ingebouwd in de alcoholmeter kan worden gekalibreerd. Om de meetnauwkeurigheid van dit apparaat en de garantie van de sensor te behouden, raden we aan om regelmatig te kalibreren. U kunt het apparaat verzenden voor kalibratie naar het serviceadres dat is opgegeven op www.alkomat.net. Het apparaat mag alleen worden gebruikt in overeenstemming met de instructies in de bedieningsinstructies. VOOR HET MEEST NAUWKEURIGE MEETRESULTAAT

A) Wacht na de laatste slok alcohol minstens 15 minuten voor u de alcoholtest uitvoert. Eet, drink of rook niet tijdens deze wachttijd. B) Open de behuizing niet. C) Bewaar de alcohol testeenheid niet in een koude, warme, vochtige of slecht verluchte ruimte. D) Bewaar de alcohol testeenheid buiten het bereik van kinderen. E) Voer, wanneer het toestel lange tijd zonder gebruik werd bewaard, eerst drie “inlooptests” uit voor u de eigenlijke alcoholtest uitvoert. F) Laat de alcohol testeenheid niet vallen. G) Vervang de batterij wanneer de display moeilijk kan worden gelezen. Een lage batterijspanning kan eveneens voor gevolg hebben dat verkeerde metingen worden doorgevoerd. H) Voer geen test uit in een lawaaierige omgeving (lawaai stoort de sensor) of in een slecht verluchte ruimte. I) Na een testresultaat van 1,00 promille of hoger moet de sensor langer tot rust komen. Wacht in dat geval ten minste drie minuten voor de volgende test. J) Voer geen tests uit in een zeer koude, zeer warme of slecht verluchte rokerige ruimte. K) Bewaar de alcohol testeenheid zo dat er geen stof of vloeistoen in het toestel kunnen dringen. L) Blaas niet te hard op het toestel. Dit kan de sensor beschadigen (vooral wanneer bij het blazen voor speeksel in het toestel terechtkomt).

VOORBEREIDINGEN VOOR DE TEST

1. Schuif het batterijdeksel (op de achterkant van het toestel)

naar beneden en plaats 1 AA-batterij (Alkaline, 1,5 V) in het batterijvak. Bij het plaatsen en later vervangen van een oude batterij door een nieuwe, moet u de polariteit (+/-) van de batterij in acht nemen.

2. Plaats een mondstuk op de zijopening om de

mondstukken te bevestigen (= de opening aan de rechterkant van het voorpaneel). Zorg ervoor dat het mondstuk strak zit. Gebruik een nieuw mondstuk voor elk onderwerp (om hygiënische redenen en om de meetnauwkeurigheid te behouden, aangezien een gebruikt mondstuk een restkoolstof in het mondstuk kan bevatten).

UITVOEREN VAN DE TEST Met de alcoholtester INNOMARK beta kunt u automatisch en handmatig testen uitvoeren. Automatische test: De eenvoudigste manier om een

diep longmonster te nemen. Het INNOMARK bètastroomsysteem bewaakt de adem van een persoon en neemt automatisch een monster aan het einde van de stroom. Handmatige test: Normaal gesproken alleen gebruikt wanneer de proefpersoon niet in staat is een automatische test uit te voeren.

1. Voor een automatische test drukt u gedurende 2 seconden op de startknop aan de voorzijde van het apparaat, dan hoort u een pieptoon, daarnaast begint een aftelprocedure en knippert „WAIT“ linksonder in de hoek .

2. Wacht tot u aan het einde van het aftellen een pieptoon hoort en zie „rdY “ op het display.

3. Zodra u „rdY“ op het display ziet, begint het apparaat gedurende 4 seconden gestaag in het mondstuk te blazen en zal het tijdens de test constant piepen. Tip: Blaas zoals u zou fluiten zonder een toon (maar zonder pauze). Opmerking: Zodra „rdY“ wordt weergegeven, wacht het apparaat 8 seconden op uw ademtest. Als er geen inblaas wordt gedetecteerd, wordt „0,00“ op het display weergegeven.

4. Blijf blazen en stop pas als u een dubbele pieptoon hoort, dan is de test met succes afgerond. Als het ademvoorbeeld niet voldoende was, hoort u binnenkort 2 pieptonen en ziet u „C.---“ en vervolgens „FLo“ op het display. Dit betekent dat het ademvoorbeeld niet voldoende was, dus druk op de startknop en star t een nieuwe test.

5. Na een succesvolle test, analyseer t het apparaat het ademtestmonster, u zult „C.----“ zien. (= „Berekenen“) op het display. Na korte tijd hoort u 2 piepjes en wordt het testresultaat (met 4 cijfers en 3 cijfers achter de komma) per mil (‰ = g/L) weergegeven.

2. Zodra u „rdY“ op het display ziet, drukt u op de linker

bedieningsknop.

3. De handmatige testmodus start en u ziet een

knipperende ‚rdy‘ die aangeeft dat u nu in het apparaat kunt gaan blazen.

4. Begin 4 seconden lang gelijkmatig in het mondstuk te

blazen, het apparaat zal tijdens de test continu piepen. Tip: Blaas alsof je fluit zonder geluid (maar zonder pauze). Blijf blazen en stop niet totdat u een dubbele pieptoon hoort, dan is de test met succes afgerond.

5. Na een succesvolle test, analyseer t het apparaat het

ademtestmonster, u zult „C.----“ zien. (= „Berekenen“) op het display. Na korte tijd hoort u 2 piepjes en wordt het testresultaat (met 4 cijfers en 3 cijfers achter de komma) per mil (‰ = g/L) weergegeven.

Opmerking: Het wordt aanbevolen om tussen twee tests minstens 5 minuten te wachten om overbelasting van de sensor te voorkomen en om de kwaliteit van de sensor zo lang mogelijk te behouden. Als het apparaat niet in gebruik is, schakelt het na 30 seconden automatisch uit en hoor t u een pieptoon. Als u een nieuwe test wilt uitvoeren, druk dan op de startknop. U kunt het instrument handmatig uitschakelen door de aan/uit-knop gedurende 3 seconden in te drukken.

TEST OPNAME GEHEUGEN MODUS Aanroepen van het gecumuleerde controlecijfer

Druk tijdens het aftellen kortstondig op de aan/uit-knop (1x) om de cumulatieve testteller = het aantal tot nu toe uitgevoerde tests weer te geven. Dit nummer helpt u te controleren of een kalibratiedienst nodig is (zie hoofdstuk „Kalibratie“ voor meer details). U kunt deze teller resetten (wat niet wordt aanbevolen) door op de linker knop te drukken totdat de teller op nul wordt gezet.

Het ophalen van eerdere testresultaten (tot 16 records)

Druk tijdens het aftellen op de aan/uit-knop (2x ) om de laatste testresultaten weer te geven (te beginnen met de laatste test). Eerst ziet u het testnummer en vervolgens het testresultaat dat met dit nummer is opgeslagen. Als u op de linker knop drukt, ziet u het volgende opgeslagen testnummer en vervolgens het testresultaat. Als u de opgeslagen resultaten in omgekeerde volgorde wilt zien, drukt u op de rechter knop. Als u de testopnamemodus wilt verlaten en wilt terugkeren naar het aftellen, drukt u kort (1x ) op de aan/uit-knop.

AANBEVELINGEN VAN ACE INSTRUMENTS

• Gebruik voor elke testpersoon een nieuw mondstuk! ACE Instruments erkent geen enkele aansprakelijkheid voor mogelijke schade die is ontstaan door gebruik van hetzelfde mondstuk door meerdere personen in meerdere tests.

• Gebruik steeds een hygiënisch afzonderlijk verpakt mondstuk van ACE Instruments. Het testtoestel komt bij elke test in contact met menselijke sappen (zweet, speeksel, bloed, enz.).

• Gebruik handschoenen wanneer u mondstukken, die u voor de test gebruikt, wisselt, vooral wanneer het toestel wordt gebruikt om u vreemde personen te testen. ACE Technik (www.ace-technik.de) heeft in haar assortiment geschikt handschoenen.

BELANGRIJKE RICHTLIJNEN

• Wanneer u iets hebt gegeten, alcohol hebt gebruikt of een sigaret hebt gerookt, moet u minstens 15 minuten wachten voor u de test uitvoert.

• Deze alcohol testeenheid is is een hoogwaardig en gevoelig meettoestel. Om de meetnauwkeurigheid van de sensor te vrijwaren, moet het toestel regelmatig worden gebruikt. Wanneer het toestel voor een langere periode niet wordt gebruikt, kan de sensor uitdrogen. We adviseren om de alcoholtester ten minste twee keer per maand te gebruiken om te testen op alcohol (ook wanneer u geen alcohol hebt gedronken).

• Bij meetwaarden lager dan 0,10‰ (OF 0,010% BAC OF 0,050mg/L – afhankelijk van de instelling) wordt het testresultaat aangegeven als 0,00‰. Dit gebeurt omdat bij deze geringe alcoholhoeveelheid andere substanties in de ingeademde lucht kunnen zitten die het resultaat van de ademtest kunnen beïnvloeden.

• Door productwijzigingen kunnen de voorgeschreven processen veranderen. Dit gebeurt zonder aankondiging vooraf en eventueel zelfs zonder aanpassing van deze gebruiksaanwijzing. Dergelijke aanpassingen vormen geen grond voor een klacht, retour of korting. Het is de verantwoordelijkheid van de gebruiker om verschillen tussen de gebruiksaanwijzing en de eigenlijke bediening op te merken en dienovereenkomstig te handelen.

WAARSCHUWING ACE INSTRUMENTS Ook wanneer het toestel het alcoholgehalte als “veilig” aanduidt, mag dit niet als een vrijgeleide worden beschouwd om alcohol te drinken en achter het stuur te kruipen of een andere activiteit uit te voeren die niet mag worden uitgevoerd onder invloed van alcohol.

Deze letter betekent dat het apparaat een buiten bereik hoge alcoholconcentratie (= boven 2.00‰ (g/L) / 0,200% BAC / 1.000mgL) heeft gedetecteerd.

KALIBRATIE

ACE Instruments adviseert om de sensor in het toestel om de 6 tot 12 maanden of na 300 tests opnieuw te laten kalibreren (afhankelijk welke van de twee voorwaarden eerst is bereikt). Deze kalibrering is niet verplicht, maar zonder kalibrering zal de nauwkeurigheid van de ingebouwde sensor automatisch verminderen en zonder kalibratie vervalt de garantie van de sensor. U kunt de toestel ter kalibrering opsturen naar een van de serviceadressen vermeld op www.alkomat.net.

We adviseren dat u het toestel als pakket verzend, waardoor het pakket u zal worden teruggestuurd in het geval de geadresseerde niet kan worden gevonden.

Druk op de aan/ uit-knop en voer een nieuwe test uit. Herhaal de test als de omgevingstemperatuur lager is.

Voor een optimale nauwkeurigheid herhaalt u de test nadat het apparaat op kamertemperatuur is gebracht (10°C tot 40°C).

Vervang de batterije door 1 nieuwe AAalkaline batterije.

DE BATTERIJ NOTITIES

Het toestel waarop deze gebruiksaanwijzing betrekking heeft wordt geleverd met 1 AA alkaline batterije. Deze batterije is niet oplaadbaar. De poging om deze batterije op te laden kan personen kwetsen en stoelijke schade veroorzaken. Bovendien mogen in dit toestel geen oplaadbare batterijen worden gebruikt. Deze kunnen het toestel beschadigen.

Als de batterije leeg zijn, mogen ze niet met het huishoudafval worden afgevoerd. Alkaline batterijen bevatten schadelijke stoen die het milieu en de volksgezondheid kunnen schaden. Breng de batterijen binnen in de winkel of geef ze af in het gemeentelijk containerpark. Deze ophaling is verplicht en wettelijk voorgeschreven. Werp lege batterijen weg in de daartoe bestemde container en kleef de polen van lithiumbatterijen af.

VERVANGEN VAN DE BATTERIJEN

Om de batterij te vervangen, schuift u de klep van het batterijvak aan de achterkant van het apparaat naar beneden en vervangt u de lege batterij door een nieuwe. Let bij het plaatsen van de batterij op de polariteit: de negatieve pool van de batterij moet in contact zijn met de veren in de batterijhouder. Sluit vervolgens het deksel van het batterijvak weer voorzichtig.

Het recyclen van batterijen is de gemakkelijkste manier om te zorgen voor het milieu. Onderstaande pictogrammen geven aan dat oude batterijen en accu’s niet bij het huisvuil mogen worden geplaatst. Ze kunnen opnieuw worden gebruikt en waardevolle grondstoen zoals ijzer, zink en nikkel kunnen worden gerecycled.

GARANTIE EN AANSPRAKELIJKHEID

De ACE Instruments (ACE Handels- und Entwicklungs GmbH) geeft voor het product, waarbij deze garantie- en aansprakelijkheidsverklaring is bijgesloten - in alle versies en aanduidingen - een garantie van twee jaar na aankoop op materiaal- en afwerkingsfouten; een garantie van één jaar op de sensor zonder componenten voor het nemen van een monster. Niet onder de garantie vallen componenten die bij werkzaamheid onvermijdelijk vernietigd worden (bijv. zekeringen). De garantie geldt vanaf de datum van uitlevering of vanaf de datum van de eerste ingebruikname (hier geldt steeds het kortere tijdsbestek), wanneer dit in de meegeleverde documenten van het product van de ACE Instruments niet anders vermeld is.

GARANTIE- EN AANSPRAKELIJKHEIDSBEPERKING

1. PRODUCTBEPERKING

De ACE Instruments wijst iedere verdere uitdrukkelijke of stilzwijgend aangenomen garantie af, inclusief de geschiktheid op de markt voor een bepaald doel. De garantie geldt in het bijzonder niet voor kalibratie. Na het vervangen van de sensor is de kalibratie in ieder geval noodzakelijk. Zijn bij een product het vervangen van de sensor en/of de kalibratie noodzakelijk, ontvangt de gebruiker eventueel een prijsopgave. Wijst hij deze van de hand, zendt de ACE Instruments het product niet gerepareerd / niet gekalibreerd terug en op het product wordt dit ook vermeld. Mocht het product deze waarborg niet vervullen, blijven de aanspraak van de koper en de plichten van de ACE Instruments uitsluitend en naar diens vrije beoordeling beperkt tot het vervangen of de reparatie van de betroen goederen of een restitutie van de gereclameerde goederen.

2. TOEPASSINGSBEPERKING

De ACE Instruments stelt zich in geen geval aansprakelijk voor extra schade, bijkomende of naderhand ontstane schade zoals onder meer niet verkregen winsten en uitvallen van het gebruik die ontstaan uit verkoop, fabricage of gebruik van de onder deze producten, onafhankelijk van het feit of deze aanspraken worden afgeleid uit contracten, nalatigheid of andere opzettelijke.

Het product, waarbij deze garantie- en aansprakelijkheidsverklaring is bijgevoegd, onverschillig in welke versie en aanduiding, kan in het bijzonder niet juridisch bindend erbij gehaald worden om de geschiktheid van een person tot het besturen van een voertuig of tot het verrichten van een handeling die voor zichzelf of andere personen vast te stellen.

De zorgvuldige controle van alle producten bij levering op beschadigingen, een voor de gegeven toepassing van de koper geschikte kalibratie en het reglementaire gebruik, onderhoud en de reparatie volgens de aanwijzingen in de door de ACE Instruments geleverde productliteratuur zijn noodzakelijke voorwaarden voor deze garantie. Reparatieof onderhoudswerkzaamheden door ongekwalificeerd personeel leiden net zo tot wegvallen van de garantie als niet vrijgegeven gebruiksmaterialen of reser veonderdelen. Zoals bij alle technisch veeleisende producten is het een ACE Instruments noodzakelijke voorwaarde dat alle gebruikers van deze producten vertrouwd zijn met het gebruik, de mogelijkheden en beperkingen van het product, zoals deze beschreven zijn in de betreende productliteratuur.

3. ADVIESBEPERKING

De koper bevestigt dat hij het voorgenomen gebruik en de geschiktheid van de gekochte goederen voor ieder gebruiksdoel als enige verantwoordelijke heeft gecontroleerd. Tussen de partijen wordt nadrukkelijk overeengekomen dat ieder technisch of ander advies door de ACE Instruments met betrekking tot het gebruik van de goederen of dienstverleningen kosteloos en uitsluitend op risico van de koper gegeven werd. Il dispositivo è facile da usare e ha un sensore elettrochimico che misura la concentrazione di alcol nel respiro e calcola la concentrazione di alcol nel sangue. Questo dispositivo fornisce risultati di prova con una tolleranza di misurazione di +/- 0,05‰ (per mille = g/L) al livello di riferimento di 0,50‰ e 25°C temperatura ambiente. I risultati, misurati in grammi per litro, sono visualizzati come valori numerici a 3 cifre con 2 posizioni decimali (sull‘unità di misura ‰ e mg/L) con il misuratore del livello di alcol nel sangue e possono essere interpretati proporzionalmente 1: 1 (il display mostra ad esempio, il valore di 0,36 = 0,36 grammi per litro). E) Dopo un lungo periodo di immagazzinaggio, eettuare tre test di prova prima di eettuare il test vero e proprio. Eettuare la prova del tasso alcolico. F) Non lasciare mai cadere l‘unità di alcol test. G) Sostituire le batterie se scatta l’avviso batteria. La ridotta capacità della batteria può determinare il fallimento del test. H) Non eettuare i test in luoghi rumorosi (le onde acustiche disturbano il sensore), esposti alle correnti d‘aria o non ventilati. I) Dopo un risultato del test pari o superiore all‘1,00 per mille, il sensore deve essere fatto riposare per un periodo di recupero. In questo caso attendere almeno tre minuti fino al test seguente. J) Non eettuare prove in ambienti molto freddi, molto caldi o non ventilati, fumosi. K) Conservare l‘unità di alcol test in modo tale da evitare che penetrino polvere e liquidi. L) Non soiare troppo forte nel boccaglio che è dannoso per Sensore (soprattutto quando molto di saliva penetrare l‘apparecchio).

PREPARAZIONE PER IL TEST

1. Far scorrere verso il basso il coperchio della batteria (sul retro dell‘unità) e inserire 1 batteria AA (alcalina, 1,5 V ) nel vano batterie. Quando si inserisce e successivamente si sostituisce una batteria vecchia con una nuova, osservare la polarità (+/-) della batteria.

2. Posizionare un boccaglio sull‘apertura laterale per fissare i boccagli (= l‘apertura sul lato destro del pannello frontale). Assicurarsi che il boccaglio sia ben stretto. Utilizzare un

boccaglio nuovo per ogni soggetto (per ragioni igieniche e per mantenere la precisione di misura, poiché un boccaglio usato può contenere carbonio residuo all‘interno).

ESECUZIONE DEL TEST ALCOLICO Con l‘alcol tester INNOMARK beta è possibile eseguire test automatici e manuali. Test automatico: Il modo più semplice per prelevare un

campione polmonare profondo. Il sistema di flusso di INNOMARK beta controlla il respiro di una persona e preleva automaticamente un campione alla fine del flusso. Test manuale: Normalmente utilizzato solo quando il soggetto non è in grado di eseguire un test automatico.

1. Per un test automatico, premere il pulsante di avvio sulla

parte anteriore del dispositivo per 2 secondi, poi si sente un segnale acustico, inoltre si avvia un conto alla rovescia e nell‘angolo in basso a sinistra lampeggia „WAIT“.

2. Attendere fino a quando non si sente un segnale acustico

alla fine del conto alla rovescia e vedere „rdY“ sul display.

3. Non appena si vede „rdY“ sul display, iniziare a soiare

uniformemente nel boccaglio per 4 secondi, il dispositivo emette un segnale acustico continuo durante il test. Suggerimento: Soia come se stessi fischiettando senza suono (ma senza pausa). Nota: Non appena viene visualizzato „rdY “, il dispositivo attende 8 secondi per il campione di respiro. Se non viene rilevata alcuna soiatura, sul display viene visualizzato „0,00“.

4. Continuare a soiare e fermarsi solo quando si sente

un doppio segnale acustico, poi il test è terminato con successo. Se il campione di respiro non era suiciente, sentirete 2 bips brevemente e vedrete „C.-----“ e poi „FLo“ sul display. Questo significa che il campione di respiro non era suiciente, quindi premere il pulsante di avvio e avviare un nuovo test.

5. Dopo un test con esito positivo, il dispositivo analizza il

campione di respiro, si vedrà „C.---“. (= „Calcola“) sul display. Dopo un breve periodo di tempo si sentiranno 2 bip e il risultato del test verrà visualizzato (con 4 cifre e 3 decimali) in per mill (‰ = g/L).

1. Per un test manuale, avviare lo strumento come descritto sopra.

2. Non appena viene visualizzato „rdY“ sul display, premere la manopola di controllo a sinistra.

3. Si avvia la modalità di test manuale e si vede un ‚rdY ‘ lampeggiante che indica che ora è possibile iniziare a soiare nell‘unità.

4. Iniziare a soiare uniformemente nel boccaglio per 4 secondi, il dispositivo emetterà un segnale acustico continuo durante il test. Suggerimento: soiate come se steste fischiando senza un suono (ma senza pausa). Continuare a soiare e non fermarsi fino a quando non si sente un doppio bip, poi il test viene completato con successo.

5. Dopo un test con esito positivo, il dispositivo analizza il campione di respiro, si vedrà „C.---“. (= „Calcola“) sul display. Dopo un breve periodo di tempo si sentiranno 2 bip e il risultato del test verrà visualizzato (con 4 cifre e 3 decimali) in per mill (‰ = g/L).

Nota: Si raccomanda di attendere almeno 5 minuti tra due prove per evitare di sovraccaricare il sensore e mantenere la qualità del sensore il più a lungo possibile. Quando non viene utilizzato, il dispositivo si spegne automaticamente dopo 30 secondi e si sente un segnale acustico. Se si desidera eseguire un nuovo test, premere il pulsante di avvio. È possibile spegnere manualmente lo strumento premendo il pulsante on/o per 3 secondi.

TEST MODALITÀ DI REGISTRAZIONE DELLA MEMORIA DI PROVA Chiamata della cifra di controllo cumulativa

Durante il conto alla rovescia, premere brevemente il tasto On/O (1x) per visualizzare il contatore cumulativo dei test = il numero di test finora eseguiti. Questo numero aiuta a verificare se è necessario un servizio di calibrazione (vedere il capitolo „Calibrazione“ per maggiori dettagli). È possibile azzerare questo contatore (cosa non consigliata) premendo il tasto sinistro fino a quando il contatore non viene azzerato.

Recupero dei risultati dei test precedenti (fino a 16 record)

Durante il conto alla rovescia, premere il pulsante On/ O (2x) per visualizzare gli ultimi risultati dei test (a partire dall‘ultimo test). Prima viene visualizzato il numero del test e poi il risultato del test memorizzato con questo numero. Se si preme il tasto sinistro, si vedrà il prossimo numero di test memorizzato e poi il risultato del test. Se si desidera vedere i risultati memorizzati in ordine inverso, premere il pulsante destro. Se si desidera uscire dalla modalità di registrazione del test e tornare al conto alla rovescia, premere brevemente (1 volta) il pulsante di accensione.

• Utilizzate i guanti quando togliete i bocchini utilizzati per un test dal misuratore, soprattutto se il test è stato eseguito da persone estranee. L‘ACE Technik (www.ace-technik.de) mette a disposizione nella sua gamma di prodotti dei guanti appositi.

AVVERTENZE IMPORTANTI

• Se avete mangiato qualcosa, bevuto dell‘alcol oppure fumato una sigaretta aspettate almeno 15 minuti prima di procedere alla misurazione.

• Questa unità alcol test è un misuratore pregiato e sensibile. Onde mantenere la precisione di misurazione del sensore, l‘apparecchio va utilizzato regolarmente. Se l‘apparecchio non viene utilizzato per un lungo periodo il sensore potrebbe seccarsi. Consigliamo di utilizzare l‘etilometro eseguendo test di tasso alcolemico di almeno 2 volte al mese (anche se non avete bevuto dell‘alcol).

• In caso risultassero valori inferiori allo 0,10‰ (OPPURE 0,01% BAC OPPURE 0,05mg/L – a seconda dell‘impostazione) il risultato del test viene indicato con 0,00‰. Ciò avviene perché in caso di un basso livello d‘alcol possono essere presenti altre sostanze nell‘aria espirata, le quali possono influenzare il risultato della prova.

• A seguito di modifiche del prodotto le sequenze operative possono subire dei cambiamenti. Ciò può accadere senza comunicazione preliminare e con adeguamento delle istruzioni per l‘uso e non costituisce motivo di reclamo, restituzione o riduzione del prezzo. CALIBRATURA

Per ottenere la precisione dell´apparecchio, ACE Instruments consigliamo la calibratura con un intervallo di dopo 300 test o dopo 6 fino a 12 mesi (a seconda di quale delle due è la prima). La calibratura non essere coattivo, tuttavia la precisione cala senza la calibratura e inoltre, la garanzia per il sensore scade. L´apparecchio può essere inviato per la calibratura all´indirizzo dal sito www.alkomat.net.

Si consiglia di inviare l´apparecchio come pacco postale così in caso di irreperibilità della ricevuta di consegna per esempio, sia possibile l´indagine dell´ordine.

Premere il pulsante Power ed eseguire un nuovo test. Ripetere il test quando la temperatura ambientale circostante è più bassa.

Per una precisione ottimale, ripetere il test dopo che l'unità è stata portata in un ambiente a temperatura ambiente (10°C fino a 40°C).

Sostituire la batteria con 1 nuova batteria alcaline AA.

NOTE ALLE BATTERIE

Il dispositivo a cui si riferiscono queste istruzioni per l‘uso contiene 1 batteria AA (1,5V, Alcalini). Questa batteria non possono essere ricaricate. Se si tenta di ricaricarle si possono causare danni agli oggetti e lesioni alle persone. Non è consentito neppure l‘uso di batterie ricaricabili, poiché queste potrebbero danneggiare il dispositivo stesso. La batteria scariche non possono essere gettate nei rifiuti domestici. CAMBIO BATTERIA

Per cambiare la batteria estrarre il coperchio del vano batterie e sostituire le batterie vecchie con delle batterie nuove. Rispettare la polarità: i poli negativi delle batterie devono essere a contatto con le molle all‘interno del vano. Quindi chiudere con cautela il coperchio del vano batterie. Tutte le batterie vengono riciclate. Possono essere riciclate materie prime importanti come ferro, zinco o nichel: non lasciate che queste vadano perse. Il riciclaggio delle batterie è il modo più facile per rispettare l‘ambiente.

INTRODUCCIÓN

Muchas gracias por comprar nuestro probador de alcohol INNOMARK beta! El alcoholímetro es un apparato medidor con sensor electroquímico. El alcoholímetro mide la concentración de alcohol en el aire espirado y calcula, a partir del valor obtenido, la concentración de alcohol en sangre. Este aparato tiene una tolerancia de medición de +/- 0.05‰ (por mil = g/L) con el valor de referencia de 0.50 por mil y 25°C temperatura ambiente.

Los resultados obtenidos se muestran como un valor de 3 cifras con 2 decimales (en la unidad de medida ‰ y mg/L) que equivale a g de alcohol por kg de sangre (es decir, si se muestra un valor de 0.36, eso quiere decir que el valor registrado es de 0.36 g de alcohol/kg de sangre).

El sensor integrado en el alcoholímetro se puede calibrar. Para mantener la precisión de medición de este dispositivo y la garantía del sensor, recomendamos una calibración regular. Pueden enviar el aparato para calibrar a la dirección indicada en www.alkomat.net.

El aparato sólo puede ser usado conforme a las instrucciones del manual de instrucciones. Todos los valores de medición indicados por este aparato de pruebas de alcohol sirven siempre sólo como punto de referencia y no son legalmente vinculantes. ASÍ SE OBTIENE UN POSIBLE UN RESULTADO EXACTO

A) Esperar al menos 15 Minutos después del último trago de alcohol hasta la prueba de alcohol. No comer, beber ni fumar durante este tiempo. B) No abrir la carcasa. No guardar la unidad de prueba de alcohol en un lugar frío, caliente, húmedo o mal ventilado. C) Mantenga la unidad de prueba de alcohol fuera del alcance de los niños. D) Después estar guardado mucho tiempo, haga tres pruebas antes de efectuar la verdadera prueba de alcohol. E) No deje caer la unidad de prueba de alcohol. F) Reemplazar la pila si el rendimiento es bajo. Una pila baja produce resultados de prueba falsos. G) No realice ninguna prueba si hay ruido fuerte (la ondas sonoras afectan al sensor), o con corrientes de aire o en lugares mal ventilados. H) Después de un resultado de prueba de 1.00 por mil o superior el sensor necesita más tiempo de recuperación. Espere en este caso al menos tres minutos hasta la prueba siguiente. PREPARACIÓN PARA LA PRUEBA

1. Deslice hacia abajo la tapa de la batería (en la parte posterior de la unidad) e inserte una batería AA (alcalina, 1,5 V) en el compartimento de la batería. Al insertar y sustituir posteriormente una pila vieja por una nueva, observe la polaridad (+/-) de la pila.

2. Coloque una boquilla en la aber tura lateral para fijar las boquillas (= la abertura en el lado derecho del panel frontal). Asegúrese de que la boquilla esté bien apretada. Utilice una

boquilla nueva para cada sujeto (por razones higiénicas y para mantener la precisión de la medición, ya que una boquilla usada puede contener carbono residual en su interior).

REALIZACIÓN DE LA PRUEBA Con el alcoholímetro INNOMARK beta puede realizar pruebas automáticas y manuales. Prueba automática: La forma más fácil de tomar una

muestra de pulmón profundo. El sistema de flujo del INNOMARK beta monitorea la respiración de una persona y automáticamente toma una muestra al final del flujo. Prueba manual: Normalmente se utiliza sólo cuando el sujeto no puede realizar una prueba automática.

1. Para una prueba automática, presione el botón de inicio

en la parte frontal del dispositivo durante 2 segundos, luego escuchará un pitido, además se iniciará una cuenta atrás y „WAIT“ parpadeará en la esquina inferior izquierda.

2. Espere hasta que oiga un pitido al final de la cuenta atrás

y vea „rdY“ en la pantalla.

3. En cuanto vea „rdY“ en la pantalla, empiece a soplar

uniformemente en la boquilla durante 4 segundos, el dispositivo emitirá un sonido continuo durante la prueba. Consejo: Sopla como si estuvieras silbando sin hacer ruido (pero sin pausa).

4. Siga soplando y sólo se detendrá cuando escuche un

doble pitido, entonces la prueba habrá terminado con éxito. Si la muestra de aliento no es suficiente, escuchará 2 pitidos en breve y verá „C.---“ y luego „FLo“ en la pantalla. Esto significa que la muestra de aliento no era suficiente, así que presione el botón de inicio y comience una nueva prueba. Nota: Tan pronto como aparezca „rdY “, el dispositivo esperará 8 segundos por su muestra de aliento. Si no se detecta ningún soplido, se muestra „0.00“ en la pantalla.

1. Para una prueba manual, encienda el instrumento como se describe anteriormente.

2. En cuanto vea „rdY “ en la pantalla, pulse el botón de control izquierdo.

3. Se inicia el modo de prueba manual y verá un ‚rdY ‘ parpadeante que indica que ya puede empezar a soplar en la unidad.

4. Empieza a soplar uniformemente en la boquilla durante 4 segundos, el dispositivo emitirá un pitido continuo durante la prueba. Consejo: Sople como si estuviera silbando sin hacer ruido (pero sin pausa). Continúe soplando y no se detenga hasta que escuche un doble pitido, entonces la prueba se completa con éxito.

5. Después de una prueba exitosa, el dispositivo analiza la muestra de aliento, verá „C.---“. (= „Calcular “) en la pantalla. Después de un corto tiempo escuchará 2 pitidos y el resultado de la prueba se mostrará (con 4 dígitos y 3 decimales) en por mil (‰ = g/L).

Nota: Se recomienda esperar al menos 5 minutos entre dos pruebas para evitar sobrecargar el sensor y mantener la calidad del sensor el mayor tiempo posible. Cuando no está en uso, el dispositivo se apaga automáticamente después de 30 segundos, y usted escuchará un pitido. Si desea realizar una nueva prueba, pulse el botón de inicio. Puede apagar el instrumento manualmente pulsando el botón de encendido/apagado durante 3 segundos.

MODO DE PRUEBA DE GRABACIÓN DE MEMORIA Llamada del dígito de control acumulado

Durante la cuenta atrás, pulse brevemente el botón de encendido/apagado (1 vez) para mostrar el contador de pruebas acumulativas = el número de pruebas realizadas hasta el momento. Este número le ayuda a comprobar si es necesario un servicio de calibración (ver capítulo „Calibración“ para más detalles). Puede reiniciar este contador (lo cual no es recomendable) presionando el botón izquierdo hasta que el contador se reinicie a cero.

Recuperación de resultados de pruebas anteriores (hasta 16 registros)

Durante la cuenta atrás, presione el botón de encendido/ apagado (2 veces) para mostrar los últimos resultados de la prueba (comenzando con la última prueba). Primero verá el número de prueba y luego el resultado de la prueba almacenado con este número. Si presiona el botón izquierdo, verá el siguiente número de prueba almacenado y luego el resultado de la prueba. Si desea ver los resultados almacenados en orden inverso, pulse el botón derecho. Si desea salir del modo de grabación de prueba y volver a la cuenta atrás, pulse brevemente (1 vez) el botón de encendido.

• Utilice guantes para quitar una boquilla usada, especialmente si se ha usado con personas extrañas. ACE Technik (www.ace-technik.de) incluye guantes apropiados en su surtido.

ADVERTENCIA IMPORTANTE

• Si ha comido algo, ha bebido alcohol o ha fumado un cigarrillo, debe esperar al menos 15 minutos antes de empezar con la medición.

• Esta unidad de prueba de alcohol es un medidor de alta calidad y sensible. Para mantener la precisión del sensor, el aparato debe ser utilizado regularmente. Si el aparato no se utilizado durante un período de tiempo largo, el sensor puede secarse. Por mes recomendamos realizar al menos 2 pruebas de alcohol (incluso si no se ha bebido alcohol).

• En valores de medición menores de 0.10‰ (O BIEN

0.010% BAC O BIEN 0.050mg/L según ajuste) el resultado de la prueba se indica como 0.00‰. Esto sucede porque en niveles muy bajos de alcohol puede haber otras sustancias en el aire aspirado que influyen en el resultado de la prueba.

• Las modificaciones del producto pueden cambiar el funcionamiento descrito. Esto puede realizarse sin previo aviso y la adaptación de las instrucciones no es ninguna razón para realizar reclamaciones, devoluciones o reducción del precio. Es responsabilidad del usuario reconocer y reaccionar a las divergencias entre el manual de instrucciones y el funcionamiento real.

CALIBRACIÓN

ACE Instruments recomienda la calibración del sensor del aparato aproximadamente cada 6 hasta 12 meses o después de 300 pruebas (lo que ocurra primero). La calibración no necesariamente tiene que hacerse, pero la precisión del sensor integrado está disminuyendo constantemente y la garantía del sensor se anula. Puede enviar el aparato para calibración a la dirección de servicio indicada en www.alkomat.net.

Recomendamos el envío como paquete para que en caso pérdida se pueda localizar mediante seguimiento.

El dispositivo no pudo completar la prueba con éxito. Otra causa podría ser que la temperatura ambiental circundante sea alta.

NOTAS PARA LA BATERÍA

El aparato al que se refiere este manual de instrucciones contiene 1 batería alcalinas AA. Esta batería no es adecuadas para ser recargadas. El intento de recarga puede causar daños a personas y cosas. No se pueden emplear pilas recargables en el aparato, puesto que pueden dañar el aparato. Si la batería esta vacías no se pueden tirar con la basura doméstica. Las pilas usadas contienen contaminantes que pueden dañar el medio ambiente y la salud. LIMITACIONES DE LA GARANTÍA Y DE LAS RESPONSABILIDADES

1. LIMITACIÓN DEL PRODUCTO

La empresa ACE Instruments declina cualquier otra garantía explícita o implícita, incluyendo la comerciabilidad o idoneidad para un determinado propósito. Especialmente, la garantía no es aplicable a la calibración del aparato. Después de un reemplazo del sensor es imperativo volver a calibrar el aparato.

Cuando en un producto se hiciera necesario reemplazar el sensor y/o realizar una calibración, bajo demanda el usuario recibirá un presupuesto. Si el usuario rechazara este presupuesto, la empresa ACE Instruments se limitará a devolver el producto no reparado / no calibrado, y dicho producto será identificado como tal.

En caso de que el producto no cumpliera con las condiciones de esta garantía, las exigencias del comprador y las obligaciones de la empresa ACE Instruments se limitarán – exclusivamente y según los criterios de ACE Instruments – al reemplazo o la reparación de las mercancías afectadas, o a la devolución del precio de compra de las mercancías reclamadas.

2. LIMITACIÓN DE LA UTILIZACIÓN

La empresa ACE Instruments en ningún caso se hace responsable de eventuales daños y perjuicios adicionales, daños incidentales o consecuentes, incluyendo eventuales reducciones de beneficios y pérdidas de uso que podrían resultar de la venta, fabricación o utilización de los productos vendidos bajo esta exención de responsabilidades, independientemente de si estas exigencias derivan de contratos, negligencias u otros actos ilícitos.

Cualquier reparación o mantenimiento realizados por personal no cualificado o la utilización de materiales consumibles o piezas de recambio no autorizados tendrá como consecuencia la anulación de esta garantía.
