2. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
CAUTION: May cause eye-skin irritation. Burning produces obnoxious and toxic fumes. Avoid contact
with skin and eyes. Avoid formation of dust and aerosols.
Contact with eyes may cause irritation.
Substance may cause slight skin irritation.
Ingestion may cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting
and diarrhea.
Inhalation of dust may cause shortness of breath, tightness of the
chest, a sore throat and cough. Low hazard for usual industrial
or commercial handling.
There were no target organ effects noted following ingestion or
dermal exposure in animal studies.
Did not cause sensitization on laboratory animals.
Fine dust dispersed in air may ignite.

3. COMPOSITION/INFORMATION ON INGREDIENTS
Classification according to Regulation (EG) No. 1272/2008 [CLP/GHS]:
This product is not classified as hazardous according to Regulation (EG) 1272/2008 as amended.
When used correctly, no special hazards are to be expected.
Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for
at least 15 minutes. Check for and remove any contact lenses.
Get medical attention if irritation occurs.

skin irritation persists, call a physician. Cool skin rapidly with cold
water after contact with hot polymer. Do not peel polymer or
adhering clothing of the skin. Consult a physician.

5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES

Foam, water, Carbon Dioxide (CO2), dry chemical. Alcohol
resistant foams are preferred if available. General-purpose
synthetic foams (including AFFF) or protein foams may function,
but much less effectively.
Hazardous decomposition
products
Burning produces obnoxious and toxic fumes, Aldehydes, Carbon
Monoxide (CO), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), smoke. The emergence of
decomposition and oxidation products depends upon the fire
conditions.
Special protective equipment
for firefighters
As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure
demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent) and full
protective gear.

Cool containers/tanks with spray water. Water mist may be used
to cool closed containers.
Fine dust dispersed in air may ignite. Risks of ignition followed by
flame propagation or secondary explosions shall be prevented by
avoiding accumulation of dust, e.g. on floors and ledges.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Use personal protective equipment when needed. Remove all
sources of ignition. Avoid inhalation of dust. Sweep up to prevent
slipping hazard. Make sure there is proper ventilation.
Environmental precautions
Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. Do not
allow material to contaminate ground water system.
Shovel into suitable container for disposal.
Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid dust
formation. Users should be protected from the possibility of
contact with hot/molten material during handling. Low hazard for
usual commercial handling.
Store at temperatures not exceeding 50 °C/122 °F. Keep cool.

irritating). Ingestion may cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea,
vomiting and diarrhea. When used in a proper way, no irritation is
expected.

using guinea pigs.
