3. COMPOSITION/INFORMATION ON INGREDIENTS
1-butene, ethene polymer, 1-propene
Rinse opened eyes for several minutes under running water. If
symptoms persist, consult a doctor. Remove contact lenses.
Continue rinsing.

Wash with soap and water. Visit a doctor if irritation continues in
the skin. After contact with molten product, cool rapidly with cold
water. Do not separate the skin from the solidified product. Call a
doctor immediately.
Supply fresh air. In case of disturbances, consult a doctor. After
inhalation of decomposition products, breathe fresh air, rest,
seek for medical help.
Rinse mouth and drink plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting.
Consult a doctor in case of persistent symptoms.
5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
Suitable extinguishing media
Any method is applicable.
Throw water with strong pressure. Carbon dioxide CO₂ .

Formation of toxic gases if heated or fire. Irritant gases/vapors.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Avoid dust formation. Do not breathe dust. Keep away from
sources of ignition. Avoid eye contact. Danger of slipping on
spilled product or pouring.
Environmental precautions
Do not discharge into drains/surface water/ground water.
Allow to solidify, pick up mechanically. Dispose of the material
collected according to regulations.
Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion. Avoid dust formation. Do not
inhale fumes/dust produced. Remove regularly dust that
inevitably form. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin. Avoid
contact with the product when heated.
Keep in a dry and dark place. Store between 10 and 40 °C.
8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION
Components with admissible limit values that require monitoring
at the workplace: do not exceed the values for dust
concentration. Additional: Based on references valid at the time
of processing.

Personal protective equipment
Not necessary. When material is molten, use protective gloves.
Do not eat, drink, smoke of sniff during working with the material.
Do not breathe dust/smoke/mist. Avoid contact with eyes and
skin. Wash hand before and after working with the material.

11. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION
Based on our current information and knowledge, the product
does not cause any adverse health effects when handled properly.
Also there are no carcinogenic, mutagenic and toxic effects
known.
Dust may cause mechanical irritation.
Eye : Dust may cause mechanical irritation.
12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION
Bioconcentration is not expected because of the high molecular
weight (MW > 1000). In the terrestrial environment, material is
expected to remain in the soil. In the aquatic environment
material will sink and remain in the sediment.
It is not expected to be very toxic, but if ingested by birds or
aquatic life, can cause adverse mechanical effects
Persistence and
degradability
This solid water-insoluble polymeric are expected to be inert in the
environment. Surface degradation is expected with exposure to
sunlight . Appreciable biodegradation is not expected.
