WARNING: To reduce the riskof fire, electric shock, or injuryto persons when usingthe washer, follow basic precautions,
includingthe forlowing:
Read all instructionsbefore using the washer.
Do notwash articlesthat have been previously cleaned in, washed in, soaked in, or spottedwith gasoline,
dry-cleaningsolvents, otherflammable, or explosive substances as they give offvapors that couldignite or explode.
Do not add gasoline, dry-cleaning solvents, orother flammable, orexplosive substances to the wash water. These substances give offvapors that couldignite or explode.
Under certain conditions,hydrogen gas may be produced in a hot water systemthat has not been used
for 2 weeks or more. HYDROGEN GAS IS
EXPLOSIVE. Ifthe hot water system has not been
used for such a period, before usingthe washing machine, turnon all hot water faucets and let the water
flow fromeach for several minutes. Thiswill release any accumulated hydrogen gas. As thegas is
flammable, do notsmoke or use an open flame dudng this time.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Do notallow childrento play on or in the washer. Close supervision of children is necessary when the washer is used
near children.
Before the washer isremoved from service or discarded,
removethe dooror lid.
Do notreach into the washer if the drum, tub or agitatoris
moving.
Do not install or storethe washer where it will be exposed to the weather.
Do nottamper with controls.
Do notrepair or replace any part ofthe washer or attempt any
servicingunlessspecificallyrecommended in this manual or in publisheduser-repair instructions that you understandand have the skillstocarry out.

Fire Hazard
Never place items in the washer that are dampened
with gasoline or other flammable fluids.
No washer can completely remove oil. Do not dry anything that has ever had any type of oil on
it (including cooking oils). Doing so can result in death, explosion, or fire.
1. Measuredetergent and pour it into the washer. If dasired, add powdered or liquidcolor safe bleach. Drop a sorted load of
clothesloosely into yourwasher.
Load evenlyto maintain washer balance. Mix large and smallitems. Items shouldmove easilythroughthe wash
water. Overloadingcan cause poor cleaning.
2. (OPTIONAL)Add liquid chlorinebleach. NOTE: Followthe manufacturer'sdirectionsfor proper use.
Undiluted bleachwill damage any fabric ittouches. The damage appears as rips, holes,tears, orcolor loss andmay notshow up until several washingslater.Toavoid spilling,use acup with a pouringspout. Do not letbleach splash, drip, or rundown intothe washer basket. A_ways measure liquid chlorinebleach. Do not guess. Do notuse more than the
manufacturer's recommended amount for a full load. Use less with a smallerload size.
Electrical Shock Hazard Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet. Do not remove ground prong.
Do not use an adapter. Do not use an extension cord.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death,
fire, or electrical shock.
Style 1: With liquid chlorine bleach dispenser (on some models)
Use onlyliquidchlorine bleach inthis dispenser. Pour
measured liquidchlorine bleach into the liquidchlorine bleach dispenser. Bleach is immediately fed into washer and is diluted automatically during the wash part of the cycle.
