General description
The Masterclima-Z device is the master device of the Ingenium climate zoning system, which allows controlling underfloor heating and ventilation grilles. Through this system it is possible to control up to 8 different air conditioning zones. It has a discretized PI control for temperature in order to achieve a greater comfort and energy savings.
It is possible to configure 5 operating modes: heating floor, cold through grilles, heating through grilles, reinforced heating floor (heating either through heating floor and grilles), reinforced cooled floor (cooling either through cooled floor and grilles).
Characteristics
The Masterclima-Z device has a connection to the BUSing bus, as well as to a secondary bus, ZBUS, in which the temperature probes and the devices that allow the opening and closing of the ventilation grilles connected. Through the BUSing bus it receives power and also communicates with the climate gateway that controls the climate machine.
For the proper functioning of the system, it is only necessary to give a BUSing address to the Masterclima-Z device and to the climate gateway, indicate to the Masterclima-Z the BUSing address of the gateway and also indicate to Cubic-TZ and Rejibus-Z the zone in which are placed (through the corresponding potentiometers), or through its pushbuttons in case of thermostat Cubic-TLZ.

Regulations - According to the directives of electromagnetic compatibility and low voltage •EN 50090-2-2 / UNE-EN 61000-6-3:2007/ UNE-EN 61000-6-1:2007 / UNE-EN 61010-1.
Note 1: electrovalves are potential free. In case of conecting 230 V electrovalves, ref is equivalent to neutral.
Note 2: it is possible that in some installations of more than 4 zones with heating and cold control, would be necessary to install a 18V auxiliar power supply, if the voltage on the furthest point of ZBUS is lower than 14V. In case of only heating floor control installations, there is no need of auxiliar power supply, independently of number of zones.
Installation
Remarks
- Maximum bus distance of ZBUS, from Masterclima to the last device: 300m. Attention to power (losses in the cable).
- ZBUS consists of two-wire without polarity with minimum section of 1 mm2.
- Feed low voltage lines (BUSing BUS and ZBUS) in separate ducting to that of power (230V) and outputs.
- Use flexible shielded wire of 2 x 0,5 mm2 + 2 x 0,22 mm2 for the BUS BUSing.
