Keystoning - making the image a perfect rectangle
There are four different ways to correct keystoning:
1) Adjust vertical or horizontal projection angle. (Best method)
2) Use vertical digital keystone correction with projector menu, keypad or remote. (Most projectors have this feature.)
3) Use horizontal digital keystone correction with projector menu, keypad, or remote. (Some projectors have this feature.)
4) Use lens shift in the projector menu. (Some projectors have this feature)
Vertical Keystoning
90
Make sure the projector is on a flat surface
that is perpendicular with the projection
surface (wall or screen). This will ensure a
rectangular image.
Horizontal Keystoning
Make sure the lens is horizontally aligned
with the center of the image or screen.
This will ensure a rectangular image.
To correct the keystoned image, decrease the
vertical projection angle to level the projector.
If image is too high on the wall, then adjust the
projector height by lowering the projector.
To correct the skewed image, rotate the projector
clockwise (rotate right) until the image is
rectangular.
To correct the keystoned image, decrease the
vertical projection angle to level the projector.
If image is too low on the wall, then adjust the
projector height by raising the projector.
To correct the skewed image, rotate the projector
counter-clockwise (rotate left) until the image is
rectangular.
