Overview

The LINDY 4 Port USB Hub provides up to 4 downstream ports in
compliance with USB specification Rev. 1.1. It supports two powe r
source modes, bus-power and se lf-power. The LINDY Hub topology
supports up to 127 physical devices in a tiered star configuration.

Set the slide swit ch on t he si de of t he hub to the

position self-powered or bus-powered as necessary.

NOTE: The bus-powered mode should be used only

when connecting devices that are self-powered by
themselves (i.e. printers, scanners, etc.) or when they
have very low power consumption (i.e. LINDY USB
mouse, LINDY USB Parallel Adapter, LINDY USB
Ethernet Adapter etc.).

If you want to use the hub in self-powered mode plug the

AC/DC power adapter into the mains and into t he hub.

Connect the B type plug of the supplied cable into the

USB micro hub.

Connect the A type plug of the supplied cable into the

USB Host (PC or Mac) or another USB upstream hub.

Connect devices to one of the A type sockets on the

USB hub.

If using Windows the PC will automatically detect this
hub and request the drivers from the W indows
installat i on di sk.

Übersicht

Der LINDY 4 Port USB Mikro Hub stellt 4 Anschlüsse für USB
Geräte zur Verfügung. Er ist kompatibel mit dem USB 1.1 Standard.
Er kann sowohl mit oder ohne Netzteil betrieb en werden, je nach
angeschlossenen Geräten. Die USB Topologie unterstützt bis zu 127
in einem Bus zusammengefasste USB Geräte.

Stellen Sie den Schiebeschal t er an der Sei t e des

USB Micro Hub auf die gewünschte Posi tion: Self­powered oder bus-powered.

HINWEIS:

werden, wenn ausschließlich Geräte mit eigener
Stromversorgung (Drucker, Scanner, etc.) oder Geräte
mit geri nger Stromaufnahme (LINDY USB Maus, LINDY
USB Parallel Adapter, LINDY USB Ethernet Adapter,
etc.) verwendet werden.

werden soll schließen Sie bitte das St eckernet ztei l an .

Schließen Sie das mitgelieferte Kabel an die B-Typ

Buchse am LINDY USB Mikro-Hub an.

Verbinden Sie das andere Ende des Kabels mit dem
USB-Host-Rechner (PC oder Mac) oder einem anderen
Upstream-Port.

Ihr W indows PC wird automat i sch den Hub erkennen
und die Treiber von der Windows Instal l ations-CD
einbinden.

Der bus-powered Modus sollte nur verwendet

branchez l’alimentation extérieure fournie.

Connectez la connexion de USB de type B vers l’entrée
de votre Micro-Hub USB.

Connectez la conexion de type A sur le port USB de
votre ordinateur.

Connectez vos périphériques à l’une des connexions de
type A de votre Micro-Hub USB.

l

Si vous utilisez Windows 98, le Micro-Hub USB sera
reconnu automatiquem ent au démarrage et Wi ndows
installera les pilotes.

NOTA BENE:

utilizzata solo quando vengono collegate delle
apparecchiature che si auto-alimentano (p.es. stampanti,
scanner, ecc.) o quando sono a basso consumo (p.es.
LINDY USB mouse, LINDY USB Adattatore Parallelo,
Adattatore USB Ethernet, ecc.).

Se desiderate utilizzare l’ hub in modalità self-power
collegate l’alimentatore AC/DC in dotazione.

Collegare l’attacco di ti po B del cavo in dotazione al
LINDY USB micro hub.

Collegare l’attacco di tipo del cavo in dotazione all’uscita
USB (PC o Mac) o ad un altro USB hub.

Collegare le periferiche ad un attacco di tipo A sul
LINDY USB hub.

Se utilizzate Windows il PC ri l everà autom at i c amente
l’hub e Vi richiederà i driver dal disco di installazione di
Windows.
