Warning!
Please ensure that the bike is in a stable position and properly secured while repair work is being
performed. Put it aside to prevent it from being used.
1) Installation of ICG IC7 Updater
a) Please download the application setup file from our service portal
http://www.icg-internal.com
b) The application is available for Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Windows 8 and
MAC OS X Version 10.7 Lion.
*** We recommend performing the latest OS Software version update in case you
experience some problems during application installation.
Please follow the installation steps for Windows operating systems or just unpack the
application for MAC OS devices.

2) Remove service cap
a) Remove the service cap located on the left side of the shroud to access the USB interface.

3) Start ICG IC7 Software Updater
a) Press "Next" to start the update.
b) The application will automatically search and download the latest software updates from
the ICG server and proceed to the next step. In case there is no internet connection
available the application will proceed to the next step without downloading and only the
former updates will be available.

c) You need to select the software version from the dropdown you want to upload to the
IC7 and press "Next" to proceed.

Important: Make sure that the console on the IC7 is powered on.
To power it on, turn the crank at least 2 rounds.
d) Please connect now the IC7 with your computer using an USB cable Type-A male to USB Type-A
male.
e) Once the IC7 is connected the console will turn off automatically and the "Next" button
gets activated.
Press "Next" to start the update.

f) Once the update was successful you must disconnect the IC7 and your computer within 10
seconds.

Attention!
If you don´t disconnect the IC7 and the computer within the 10 sec., the console will turn off again
and you need to repeat the operation starting from step 3 e).
g) In case of an unsuccessful Update please repeat the operation starting from step 3e

h) Once the update was applied and the console started up to the normal mode of operation please double
check the firmware on the settings.

4) Reassemble the service cap
a) Reassemble the service cap located on the left side of the shroud.

5) End of the operation
Simulate a brief session, checking if the bike is in good working order.
