3. Charging
Charge the InBodyBAND prior to initial use.
• InBody Test, Heart rate cannot be measured while the InBodyBAND is charging.

4. Installing the BodyKey App
Connect this product with the BodyKey App to transfer and monitor your data conveniently on your smartphone.
1) Search “BodyKey” in the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
2) Download the App.
3) Load the App and follow the instructions on-screen to sync this product with your smartphone.

• This product is compatible with Android 4.3(Jellybean) with BLE or newer and iPhone 4S/iOS7 or newer.

5. Powering Up
Turn on this product by holding the side button down for 3 seconds. The time will appear on-screen when the product is on.

• This product cannot be turned off manually. Display will turn off after 4 seconds of inactivity.
• If this product does not turn on, charge the product as instructed on page 3 until fully charged. Try turning on the product again. If the product still does not turn on, please contact AMWAY™ Customer Service Team (page 52).

6. Syncing the InBodyBAND with the BodyKey App
Install the BodyKey App on your smartphone as instructed, and connect the product to the App over Bluetooth.
1)
InBodyBAND: After charging adequately, press and hold the button
for 3 seconds to turn the power on.
2) BodyKey
App: On the
BodyKey
App, go to Settings Devices
and select the InBodyBAND to bring up the setup screen.

6. Syncing the InBodyBAND with the BodyKey App
• You may experience difculties linking your InBodyBAND if there are other InBodyBANDs present.
• The time on your InBodyBAND will automatically sync with your smartphone.

BodyKey App: Tap the Settings button on the BodyKey App. In the Bluetooth registration request window, tap the “OK” button and proceed as instructed on the App.

7. Manual Mode
Time can be set manually if the BodyKey App is not utilised.
1. Turn on your InBodyBAND by holding the side button down for three seconds.
2. Press the button to advance through the menu until the clock icon shows on the screen. You will see the time.
3. Hold the button for 5 seconds to set Hours. The hours will ash.
4. Press the button to change the Hours.

• The InBody Test is not available if the InBodyBAND is not connected to a smartphone.

9. Accurate Test Guidelines
If the InBodyBAND cannot come into full contact
with your wrist, fasten the band tighter or move
the band further down your arm until electrodes
are in full contact with skin.
The ideal testing position is to
wear the InBodyBAND directly
above your wristbone.

9. Accurate Test Guidelines
• For accurate measurement, electrodes must be in full contact with skin. In case of poor contact between electrodes and skin, the test may not be proceeded or
test results may be inaccurate.
• To increase comparability between your results, place the InBodyBAND
on the same location on your wrist for every test.
• If skin is too dry, test may not be proceeded or test results may be inaccurate.
Please moisturise your skin before test.

10. Testing Precautions
Warnings
Individuals with medical implant devices such as pacemakers or essential support devices such as patient monitoring systems must not take the InBody Test.
Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis is not harmful to the body, but it is not recommended for pregnant women to take the test.

Press the side button until you see InBody Test icon on the screen.
If the test icon ( ) is shown, maintain the test posture.
The wrist electrodes must touch your wrist
completely and your ngers must touch
the nger electrodes gently.
Your hands must not touch
one another.

When the proper posture is maintained, the test icon will change, and InBody Test will begin automatically.

• You must install the BodyKey App and sync it with your InBodyBAND before taking the InBody test for the first time.
• The Body Fat measurement will take into account your height and weight.

12. Heart Rate Measurement
Press the side button until you see Heart Rate Measurement icon on the screen. If the test icon ( ) is shown, maintain the test posture.

13. Data Management
Your data automatically uploads to your smartphone when you sync the InBodyBAND with the BodyKey App.
• For smooth connection, keep InBodyBAND within 2 meters from your smartphone. Range may vary depending on environment.
• The InBodyBAND resets daily at midnight. Data will be stored for 7 days if not uploaded to smartphone.

(The number of steps may change depending on the rmware version).
• The time on the InBodyBAND syncs with your smartphone’s time once the InBodyBAND is connected to the BodyKey App.

Please read these safety warnings carefully to ensure your personal safety and to prevent property damage.
• Do not disassemble or modify the equipment, including internal parts, without written consent from the manufacturer. This may cause electric shock or injury, product malfunction, inaccurate results, and will void the manufacturer’s warranty.

• Do not open the enclosure, disassemble, break, deform, bend, smash, press, or make a hole in the product. The battery may explode.
• Do not use your InBodyBAND if the display is cracked.
• InBodyBAND is water-resistant for purposes such as washing hands.
• The InBodyBAND failures, of which water labels are discoloured due to the user’s negligence, are not subject to warranty.
• Do not expose the InBodyBAND to excessive liquid, moisture, humidity or rain.

• Do not swim with the InBodyBAND on or use it in water.
• Do not use your InBodyBAND after placing it in water for long period of time.
• Do not leave your InBodyBAND where mass amount of water can be splashed on the product.
• Do not place the InBodyBAND in salt water/chemicals.
• Excessively bending the InBodyBAND may cause damage to the product.
• Do not drop/shock the InBodyBAND. Such impact may result in damage.

• Keep out of reach of children. The InBodyBAND can be a choking hazard.
• Those allergic to metal, rubber and silicon materials must not use the InBodyBAND.
• Battery must not be deformed, changed, added with other substances, or exposed to water or other liquid.
• Do not expose your InBodyBAND and charger under UV light for long period of time.
• Do not use your InBodyBAND in excessively humid environments.

• Use the InBodyBAND in room temperature to maximise its battery capacity. Usage of the product in low temperature may cause decrease in battery capacity.
Wear your InBodyBAND loosely enough to allow some air circulation.
• Do not place the InBodyBAND near a bathtub, sink, sauna, pool, or steam
room. Exposure of the InBodyBAND to excessive moisture and heat could result in deformation/failure/explosion.
• Do not cover the InBodyBAND with any fabrics while it is charging. Doing so
may cause a fire.

• Please use InBodyBAND properly as instructed in this manual.
• Do not check call notifications or other data on the product’s display while
driving or in other situations where distractions could be hazardous.
• Clean and dry your InBodyBAND regularly, especially areas in contact with
the skin. Use a clean, damp cloth. Do not wash the product under a faucet.
• The InBodyBAND is classified as Class B electromagnetic radio equipment
and can be used anywhere.

• Do not use the InBodyBAND if you have life-sustaining medical implants
as the radio waves emitted by the InBodyBAND may interfere with the implants.
• Keep the hand electrodes and the arm electrodes away from electricity-
conducting materials. Electrical stimuli such as strong static electricity may cause malfunction or damage of the product.
• Bluetooth devices may cause electromagnetic interferences with multiple
electronic goods due to use of same frequency range.

• Electromagnetic interferences may occur while the product is operating.
Do not use the InBodyBAND for any services related to human life. In case of communication necessarily needed or medical emergency, please use the smartphone directly to check any incoming communication.
• The user is responsible for data transfer problems caused by using Bluetooth
function and illegal use of Bluetooth function.
• If the device is broken, get in touch with AMWAY Customer Service Team.
The user is responsible for problems caused by any arbitrary repairs.
