Important Instructions
Do's
1. Thoroughly familiarize yourself with the functions of the hand blender before operation.
2. Before connecting the appliance check the mains voltage comply with the voltage specified.
3. The blades are very sharp, so be careful while operating the blender.
4. Repairs or the replacement of the main cord must only be done by authorized service
personnel.
5. Keep the appliance away from the reach of the children.
6. Always unplug the appliance before assembling, disassembling, cleaning or storing.
7. The appliance is constructed to process normal household quantities only.
Don'ts
1. Do not run the blender continuously for more than one minute. Allow the motor to cool
down sufficiently before starting the next cycle.
2. Do not chop extremely hard food, such as nutmeg, coffee seeds and grains.
3. Do not overload the motor. The quantity of material for blending or chopping operation
should not be more than the specified quantity.
4. Do not operate the hand blender unless the attachments are properly clamped with the
motor housing part.
5. Do not allow the cord to hang over the edges of the table, or touch hot surface.
6. Do not immerse the appliance in water.
7. Do not attempt to repair the hand blender at home or allow any unauthorized person to do it
either.
8. Do not let any persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge use this appliance, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
9. Do not let any children in any case play with the appliance.
Before First Use
1. After unpacking the unit and before any use, make sure the mechanical parts of the unit
and all its attachments are not damaged.
2. Carefully go through the instruction manual before starting the operation.
How to Operate Your Hand Blender
The hand blender is perfectly suited for preparing sauces, purees, soups, mayonnaise, chutney, baby foods, for mixing drinks and milkshakes.
1. Insert the motor housing part into the blender shaft until it locks.
2. Introduce the hand blender in the material to be processed, then press the speed control
switch.
3. You can operate the blender in the beaker. Even you can blend directly in the saucepan
while cooking.
How to Operate the Chopper Attachment (Available in Model:Robot300C)
The chopper attachment is perfectly suited for chopping meat, cheese, onions, herbs,
garlic, carrots, walnuts, almonds, chilies etc.
Before chopping
1. Pre-cut meat, cheese, garlic, onions, carrots, chillies etc.
2. Remove stalk from herbs, leafy vegetables.
3. Remove bones, tendons from the meat.
4. Carefully remove the plastic cover from the blade. Place the blade on the centre pin of the chopper bowl. Always place the chopper bowl in the anti-slip base.
5. Place the food in the chopper bowl.
6. Put the chopper gear box on the chopper bowl. Insert the motor housing part into the gear box until it locks.
7. Press push button switch to operate the chopper. During processing, hold the motor part with one hand and the chopper bowl with the other.
8. After use, first remove the motor housing part, then the chopper gear box.
9. Carefully take out the blade. Remove the processed food from the chopper bowl. The antiĀ­slip base also serves as an air-tight lid for the chopper bowl.
Cleaning and Maintenance
1. Unplug the blender from the supply switch.
2. Unlock the motor housing and clean it blender shaft with damp cloth.
3. After processing salty food, you should rinse the blade stem right away.
4. When processing food like carrots, green leafy vegetables, meat etc. the plastic part of the hand blender may become discoloured. Wipe these parts with vegetable oil before placing them in the dishwasher.
5. In case of any defect, contact authorized service centre or company's service personnel.
