INTRO
Thank you for choosing the IMPULSION HEATING BLANKET. The HEATING BLANKET will give you an exceptional feeling of well-being. Practical and lightweight, it provides optimal comfort and warmth wherever you use it.
Reliable and safe, the IMPULSION HEATING BLANKET offers adjustable temperature control and timer control.
Thanks to its detachable cord, the IMPULSION HEATING BLANKET is machine washable up to 40°C.
Subjected to rigorous tests complying with current European standards, the IMPULSION HEATING BLANKET keeps you warm in winter, as well as in wet or rainy weather.
PLEASE READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR «HB01 HEATING BLANKET», AND IN PARTICULIAR THE FOLLOWING BASIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Only use the appliance in accordance with the instructions for use contained in this manual.
2. The appliance should not be used by persons (including children) whose physical, sensorial or mental capacities are reduced, or who lack experience or knowledge, unless a person responsible for their safety can supervise them or give them preliminary instructions for product use. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
3. Do not use accessories that are not recommended by IMPULSION or that are not supplied with the appliance.
4. If the power cord is damaged it must be replaced with a special or similar cord, available from the manufacturer or its after-sales service.
5. Do not use the appliance if the plug is damaged, or if the appliance is malfunctioning, falls on the floor, is damaged or falls into water. Return the appliance to the manufacturer or its after-sales service for inspection and repair.
6. Do not carry the appliance by its electric cord and do not use the cord as a handle.
7. Always unplug the appliance after use and before cleaning it.
8. Do not try to recover an appliance if it falls into water; unplug it immediately.
9. An electrical appliance should never be left plugged into a power socket without supervision. Unplug it when you are not using it.
10. Use only the controller supplied with the blanket (Model: KDA6-FT).
11. Do not allow any object to fall into, and do not insert any object into, any of its openings.
12. Never use the appliance in a room in which aerosol products (sprays) are used, or oxygen is administered.
13. To unplug the appliance, turn the button to the «OFF» position, then pull out the plug.
14. Do not use safety pins, do not scratch the HEATING BLANKET with a sharp object and do not beat it with a blunt
object. Do not fasten the HEATING BLANKET with pins or other metal objects.
15. Do not expose your HEATING BLANKET to sunlight and do not iron it. This will prevent damage to the electrical circuit
insulation.
16. The HEATING BLANKET is not designed for hospital use.
17. Do not use the HEATING BLANKET with other heating appliances or to heat other appliances (feet-warmers, hot-water
bottles).
18. The appliance is designed exclusively for family use.
19. If you are concerned about your health, consult a doctor before using the appliance.

20. If you feel any pain when using the appliance, stop using it immediately and consult your doctor.
21. Never use the appliance on an inflammation, swellings or skin rashes.
22. The remote control should always be within reach; do not put it under the mattress, pillow or any other cover.
23. Do not use the HEATING BLANKET when it is wet and do not switch it on to dry it.
24. Do not use the HEATING BLANKET as a mattress protector or underneath a person. Only use it as a HEATING BLANKET around yourself or on top of the bed.
25. Do not wrap yourself in the HEATING BLANKET so tightly that you can no longer move. Always maintain sufficient space between the blanket and yourself to allow you to easily reach the remote control or the power socket.
26. Do not wedge the blanket between surfaces etc. (especially on adjustable beds and mattresses with distinct parts).
27. Do not use the blanket on animals.
28. When storing your HEATING BLANKET for a long period, store it in a dry location. Carefully check the condition of your HEATING BLANKET before switching it on again for the first time. If the electric cord appears damaged, do not use the appliance.
29. Children should not be allowed to use the HEATING BLANKET without supervision. They should be instructed and supervised by a responsible adult.
30. The HEATING BLANKET should not be used by young children or persons lacking sensitivity to heat.
Attention: When the appliance is likely to be used for an extended period, it is suggested that the heating level should
be adjusted to the minimum

Use of the HEATING BLANKET: Preliminary remarks.
The IMPULSION HEATING BLANKET is designed to warm the human body. It should be used:
- Around yourself
• In this case, ensure that the power cord is positioned in such a way to prevent you tripping on it.
• Make sure that the blanket is plugged in close to the power socket.
• Ensure that the remote control is kept within easy reach and is not placed under a cushion or any other object.
• Do not wrap the HEATING BLANKET around yourself in a way that restricts your freedom of movement. Always
maintain sufficient space between the blanket and yourself to allow you to easily reach the remote control or the power socket.
- Or as a bedcover (and not under the person like a mattress protector).
• In this case, ensure that the remote control is kept within easy reach and is not placed under a cushion or any other
object.

Safety
The HEATING BLANKET is fitted with a safety system. The electronic sensor prevents overheating of the blanket across its whole surface by automatically switching it off in the event of a malfunction, or if the connector is not correctly attached

to the power cord. The safety system automatically switches the HEATING BLANKET off, the heating level indicator light flashes, and the Timer light turns off. For safety reasons, do not use the blanket after a malfunction. Return it to the manufacturer or reseller.
Use of the blanket
To switch the blanket on, first connect the remote control to the blanket by attaching the connector and then insert the plug into a 220 Volts power socket.
Check that the remote control is switched to the «ON» position (1). An indicator light appears on the LCD screen.
To heat the blanket as quickly as possible, we recommend that you first set the thermostat to the maximum position and then turn it down according to your preference.
Please note: In order to avoid overheating, the heating level will automatically drop to the minimum level after 1 hour
of use in maximum mode.
Adjusting the heating level and timer control
The remote control enables you to adjust the temperature to 5 different heat levels. When first switched on, the blanket will operate by default on the minimum heat level. To increase the heating level, press repeatedly on the «Temperature set» button (2) until you reach your desired level of warmth.
You can also set the blanket’s timer control for a duration ranging from 1 - 8 hours. Press repeatedly on the «Time set» button (3) until you reach your desired time period. By default, the timer is set at 8 hours.
You can turn the blanket off at any time by pressing the «cancel» button (4). When the button is pressed, the appliance stops emitting heat.
2. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
When you are not using the HEATING BLANKET and before cleaning it, follow the instructions below:
- Check that the remote control is switched to the «OFF» position (1).
- Remove the plug from the power socket.
- Disconnect the remote control connector from the blanket.
- Allow the blanket to cool down before proceeding to clean it.
Cleaning
Small stains can be removed with a damp cloth or sponge and, where necessary, with a small amount of washing liquid for delicate fabrics.
Please note: do not dry clean the HEATING BLANKET, wring it out, tumble dry it, dry it on a radiator or iron it.
If the HEATING BLANKET is heavily soiled, it can be washed in a washing machine. Set the latter on the programme for delicate fabrics at 40°C. Use a washing powder designed for delicate fabrics and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
To avoid excessive wear, do not wash the blanket too frequently. The HEATING BLANKET should not be washed in a washing machine more than 5 times over its entire product lifetime.
When drying the blanket, do not hang it up with clothes pegs or similar products. Do not expose the HEATING BLANKET to sources of heat such as the sun, a radiator etc.
Only reconnect the remote control to the HEATING BLANKET when the connector and the HEATING BLANKET are completely dry.
Never switch the HEATING BLANKET on in order to dry it.
