Kurzbedienungsanleitung

1. Produktbeschreibung

Der IMPERIAL BAT 2 ist ein Bluetooth Transmitter
zur drahtlosen Übertragung von Audio-Signalen ei­ner Quelle auf Bluetooth-fähige Geräte zur Audio­Wiedergabe wie z.B. Kopfhörer oder Lautsprecher­systeme.

2. Lieferumfang

• USB Verlängerung

• Audio-Adapterkabel Cinch R/L auf 3.5mm

• 3.5mm Audio-Kabel

3. Inbetriebnahme

3.1 Quelle anschließen

Verbinden Sie zunächst den BAT 2 über das im
Lieferumfang enhaltene 3.5mm Anschlusskabel
bzw. mit dem 3.5mm Adapterkabel mit dem Kopf­hörer- bzw. Audioausgang der Audioquelle, deren
Signale Sie via Bluetooth übertragen möchten.

nungsanleitung der entsprechenden Audioquelle.

3.2 Stromversorgung herstellen

Der BAT 2 wird via USB mit Strom versorgt. Nach­dem der Transmitter wie unter 3.1 beschrieben mit
der Audioquelle verbunden wurde, stecken Sie den
BAT 2 bitte in eine entsprechende USB Buchse.
Der BAT 2 ist nun betriebsbereit und bendet sich
im Verbindungsmodus.

Hinweis: Bitte beachten Sie, dass diese USB
Buchse einen ausreichend hohen Versorgungs­strom (5V, 1 A) bereitstellen muss.

4. Bluetooth-Verbindung herstellen

4.1 Verbinden

Aktivieren Sie das zu verbindende Bluetooth-Ge­rät. Da der BAT 2 nach dem Einschalten bereits im
Suchmodus ist, sollte eine Bluetooth-Verbindung
automatisch hergestellt werden.

Nähere Informationen entnehmen Sie bitte der Be­dienungsanleitung des zu verbindenden Gerätes.

Zur Verbindung des BAT 2 mit anderen Geräten
stehen unterschiedliche Verbindungsmodi zur
Verfügung:

• Verbindungsmodus „neu“

Bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme sucht der BAT 2
nach neuen Bluetooth-Verbindungen, die grüne
Status-LED blinkt schnell (4 Mal pro Sekunde).

• Verbindungsmodus „Memory“

War der BAT 2 bereits mit einem Gerät verbunden,
wird beim nächsten Einschalten zunächst nach der
letzten Bluetooth-Verbindung gesucht. Dies wird
durch langsames Blinken der grünen Status-LED
(2 Mal pro Sekunde) angezeigt.

Wurde die Bluetooth-Verbindung erfolgreich
hergestellt, leuchtet die Status-LED des BAT 2
permanent blau auf und die Bluetooth-Übertragung
beginnt.

4.2 Verbindung trennen

Um die Bluetooth-Verbindung zu trennen, deak­tivieren Sie entweder die Bluetoothfunktion am
verbundenen Gerät (Näheres entnehmen Sie der
Bedienungsanleitung des Geräts)

Oder
Drücken Sie den Knopf des BAT 2, die Verbindung

wird getrennt und der BAT 2 schaltet wieder in den
Verbindungsmodus (zunächst „Memory“, nach 40

Sekunden „neu“).

4.3 Bereitschaftsmodus

Findet der BAT 2 innerhalb von 60 Sekunden kein
zu verbindendes Gerät, schaltet der Transmitter
automatisch in den Bereitschaftsmodus (grüne
Status-LED blinkt extrem langsam, 2 mal alle 5
Sekunden).

Um aus dem Bereitschaftsmodus in den Verbin­dungsmodus zurückzuschalten, drücken Sie bitte
den Knopf des BAT 2.

Quick start guide

1. The product

The IMPERIAL BAT 2 is a Bluetooth audio transmit­ter for wireless transmission of audio signals to Blu­etooth devices (e.g. headphones, stereo speakers)

2. Scope of delivery

• IMPERIAL BAT 2

• USB cable

• 3.5mm RCA audio cable

• Cinch R/L to3.5mm RCA adapter cable

3. Getting started

3.1 Connect source

Connect the BAT 2 via 3.5mm RCA cable or adapter
cable to the headphone or Aux output of the audio
source device, whose files you would like to trans­mit via Bluetooth. (For further information, please
read user manual of audio source device.)

3.2 Establish power connection

In order to supply the BAT 2 with power, connect the

transmitter to a USB interface. The BAT 2 is now po­wered up and ready to use and automatically starts
in connecting mode.

Hint: for a proper function of the BAT 2, the supply
current of the USB interface needs to be sufcient
(5V, 1A).

4. Establish Bluetooth connection

4.1 Connect

Activate the Bluetooth device to be connected.
Since the BAT 2 directly enters connecting mode
after being powered up, the connection should be
established automatically. For further information,
please read user manual of audio source device. To
establish Bluetooth connection between BAT 2 and
respective devices, several modes are available:

• Connection mode „new“

During initial operation, the BAT 2 is automatically
searching for new Bluetooth devices to connect to.
This mode is displayed through a quick ash of the
green status LED on top of the BAT 2 (LED ashes
4 times per sec.).

• Connection mode „memory“

Has the BAT 2 already been connected to a device,

the transmitter will automatically search for the last
known Bluetooth device connected during the last
operation. This mode is displayed through a slow
ash of the green status LED on top of the BAT 2
(LED ashes 2 times per sec.).

Has a Bluetooth connection been established suc­cessfully, the BAT 2’s status LED is permanently
illuminated blue, Bluetooth transmission starts au­tomatically.

4.2 Terminate connection

In order to terminate an established Bluetooth con­nection, you can either deactivate Bluetooth mode
on the connected device or press the button on top
of the BAT 2. The connection is terminated and the
BAT 2 switches to connection mode (rst connec­tion mode “memory” and after 40 seconds without
connection to connection mode “new”).

4.3 Standby mode

If the BAT 2 doesn’t nd a device to be connected
within 60 seconds, the transmitter automatically
switches to standby mode (green status LED a­shes extremely slow, only twice every 5 seconds).

To reenter connection mode and quit standby mode,
please press the button on top of the BAT 2.
