Welcome:

Thank you for purchasing the Impecca iPad2™ PowerCase, a fully integrated rechargeable battery case that
allows you to extend the battery life of your iPad2 up to 10 additional hours for video playback and up to 70
additional hours for audio playback. The Impecca iPad2™ PowerCase is ultra-slim and lightweight and provides
easy access to all ports, controls, and speakers on your iPad2™. It is ideal for travelers and active users.

Please read this User’s Guide carefully before using your Impecca iPad2™ PowerCase as it contains important
safety features and precautions that will help you maximize the lifespan of this product.

The PowerCase comes with a built-in, safety tested, advanced lithium polymer high capacity rechargeable
battery



Compatible with all iPad2 models



Syncs your iPad2 with your computer, while your iPad2 is docked in the PowerCase



Integrated 3 light LED status indicates charging mode and battery life



On/Off switch to control the PowerCase backup battery status



Automatically shuts off after 3 seconds when iPad2 is not docked with the PowerCase



Includes a stand for vertical or horizontal viewing

Warning:

Please read all instructions and warnings carefully before using this product. Improper usage may result in
product damage, extreme heat, toxic fumes, fire and explosion, for which the manufacturer is not responsible.

 Do not place this product in or near excessively hot environments including exposure to intense direct

sunlight.

 Do not disassemble, attempt to repair, or modify this product. Do not replace any internal or external parts.

 Do not expose this product to moisture or submerge it in liquid. Keep this product dry at all times.

 Do not attempt to charge this product using any other method, apparatus or connection other than the

device’s USB cable, the car charger or the power adaptor that came with your iPad2. For questions or
instructions on the various ways to charge the PowerCase refer to the product’s User’s Manual.

 If this product is intended by Purchaser to be used by a minor, purchasing adult agrees to provide detailed

instructions and warnings to any minor prior to use. Failure to do so is the sole responsibility of purchaser,
and said purchaser agrees to indemnify Manufacturer for any unintended use or misuse by a minor.

 This product has gone through a thorough quality assurance inspection. If you find that your product or

battery is excessively hot, is emitting odor, is deformed, or is experiencing or demonstrating an abnormal
phenomenon, immediately stop all use of the product and contact the Manufacturer.

 Never dispose of this product in the garbage. Disposal of batteries in the garbage is unlawful under state and

federal environmental laws and regulations. Always take used batteries to your local battery-recycling
center.

This product is meant for use only in conjunction with the iPad2™ device. Manufacturer is not responsible for
any damages to any mobile entertainment device incurred through the use of this product.

Manufacturer shall not in any way be liable to you or to any third party for any damages you or any third party
may suffer as a result of use, intended or unintended, or misuse of this product in conjunction with any device
or accessory other than the appropriate mobile entertainment device for which this battery is designed.
Manufacturer will not be responsible for any damages that you or any third party may suffer as a result of
misuse of this product as outlined above.

Operating Instructions:

Charge display

To view the charge status while the iPad2 is not docked in, press the power on/off button on the
PowerCase.

The LEDs will indicate your PowerCase charge status as follows:

Three lights indicate the unit is fully charged
Two lights indicate spare charge is 80% or less,
One light indicates spare charge is 60% or less,
A slow flashing light indicates the spare charge is less than 30% and is in need of recharging,
If no lights are visible, your PowerCase should be recharged immediately.

Charging the Impecca iPad 2™ PowerCase

Connect the standard end of the USB cable with the power adaptor that came with your iPad2 or to a
USB 2.0 port on a computer.

Connect the mini end of the USB cable with the USB port located on the PowerCase.

LEDs indicate the status of the charging mode: One blue light indicates charging within 60%,two lights
indicate charging up to 80% and three lights indicates that charging is completed.

Docking your iPad2 with the PowerCase

Turn off your iPad2 and slide it into the PowerCase, making sure that the pin connector is properly and
securely inserted into the bottom of the iPad2.

Slide the top panel of the PowerCase securely into place.

To charge the iPad2:

1. Press the PowerCase on/off button. The LEDs will light up and a battery symbol will
appear on the screen of your iPad2, indicating that the iPad2 is charging.

2. Press the PowerCase on/off button to turn off the PowerCase when charging is
complete.
