Congratulations on your purchase of an IMPECCA™ Electronic Dehumidier. Before using this product, it is
recommended that you familiarize yourself with the features, functions, and operating procedures described
in this manual. Inside you will nd many helpful hints on how to use and maintain your dehumidier properly. Just a little preventive care on your part can save you a great deal of time and money over the lifespan of
your dehumidier. You will nd many answers to common problems in the chart of troubleshooting tips.

hazards.
• Your dehumidi er must be connected to a properly grounded wall receptacle. If the wall receptacle you
intend to use is not adequately grounded or protected by a time delay fuse or circuit breaker, have a
quali ed electrician install the proper receptacle.
• Ensure the receptacle is accessible after the unit installation.

INSTALLATION & OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
Carefully review all of these instructions BEFORE proceeding to install and operate your dehumidier.
Failure to do so may cause damage, injury, or bodily harm including permanent disability and/or death.
POSITIONING THE UNIT:
A dehumidier operating in a basement will have little or no eect in drying an adjacent enclosed storage
area, such as a closet, unless there is adequate circulation of air in and out of the area.
• Do not use outdoors.
• This dehumidifer is intended for indoor residential applications only.
This dehumidier should not be used for commercial or industrial
applications.
• Place the dehumidier on a smooth, level oor strong enough to
support the unit with a full reservoir of water.
• Allow at least 20cm of air space on all sides of the unit for good air
circulation.
• Place the unit in an area where the temperature will not fall below
41°F (5°C). The coils can become covered with frost at temperatures
below 41°F (5°C), which may reduce performance.
• Place the unit away from the clothes dryer, heater or radiator. Use
the unit to prevent moisture damage anywhere books or valuables
are stored.
Casters (4 on the bottom of unit)
Casters can move freely.
Do not force casters to move over
carpet, nor move the unit with water
in the reservoir. (The unit may tip over
and spill water and cause shock)
• Use the dehumidier in a basement to help prevent moisture damage.
• The dehumidier must be operated in an enclosed area to be most eective.
• Close all doors, windows and other outside openings to the room.
WHEN USING THE UNIT:
• When rst using the dehumidier, operate the unit continuously 24 hours.
• This unit is designed to operate with a working environment between 41°F–95°F (5°C–35°C).
• If the unit has been switched o and needs to be switched on again quickly, allow approximately three
minutes for the correct operation to resume.
• Do not connect the dehumidier to a multiple socket outlet, which is also being used for other electrical
appliances.
• Select a suitable location, making sure you have easy access to an electrical outlet.
• Plug the unit into a electrical socket-outlet with earth connection.
• Make sure the water reservoir is correctly tted otherwise the unit will not operate properly.
• NOTE:
When the water in the reservoir reaches to a certain level, please be careful when moving the
machine to avoid it tipping over.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS CONTINUED:
REMOVING THE COLLECTED WATER:
There are two ways to remove collected water.
1. USE THE RESERVOIR
• When the unit is o,if the reservoir is full, the unit will beep 8 times
and the Full indicator light will ash, the digital display shows P2.
• When the unit is on, if the reservoir is full, the compressor turns o
and the fan turns o after 30 seconds for drying the water of the
condenser, then the unit will beep 8 times and the Full indicator
light will ash. The digital display shows error P2.
• Slowly pull out the reservoir. Grip the left and right handles securely,
and carefully pull out straight so water does not spill. Do not put the
tank on the oor because the bottom of the reservoir is uneven. If
the reservoir is balanced on the oor, it will fall and water will spill.
• Throw away the water and replace the reservoir. The reservoir must
be in place and securely seated for the dehumidier to operate.
• The machine will re-start when the reservoir is correctly positioned.
• NOTES: When you remove the reservoir, do not touch any parts inside of the unit. Doing so may damage the product. Be sure to push
the reservoir gently all the way into the unit. Banging the reservoir
against anything or failing to push it in securely may cause the unit
to stop operating. If water spills or is found within the unit upon
removing the reservoir, you must dry it .
1. CONTINUOUS DRAINAGE
Water can be automatically emptied into a oor drain by attaching
the unit with a water hose (5/16” diameter) with a 1” female threaded end.
• Install the drain hose onto the adaptor A (see Figure C).
• Remove the plastic cover from the back drain outlet of the unit and
set aside and remove reservoir,then insert the drain hose through
the drain outlet of the unit and securely press it into the connector
on the front of the unit. (see Figure E)
• Tighten the adaptor A and the unit by using two screws (placed in
the reservoir).
• Install the female threaded end of the water hose into the adaptor A
(see Figure F), then lead the water hose to the oor drain or a suitable drainage facility.
• Make sure the hose is secure so there are no leaks. Direct the hose toward the drain,making sure that
there are no kinks that will stop the water ow. Place the end of the hose into the drain and make sure
the end of the hose is level or down to let the water ow smoothly. Do never let it up.
• Place the reservoir back in the unit and make sure that it is seated correctly.
• Select the desired humidity setting and fan speed on the unit to commence continuous draining.

FRONT PANEL OVERVIEW:
The following diagram and legend shows the functions of the front operating panel. Some functions are
only available on select models.
When you push the button to change operation modes, the unit will make a beep sound to indicate that it
is changing modes.
1) Continuous Button
Press to activate continuous dehumidifying mode.
2) Filter Button
The check lter indicator is a feature to remind you clean
the air lter for more ecient operation. The lter light will
illuminate after 250 hours of operation. Toreset after cleaning
the lter, press the lter button and the light will go o.
3) Fan Speed Button
Control fan speed. Press to select either high or normal fan
speeds. Set the fan speed to high for maximum moisture
removal. When the humidity is reduced or quiet operation is
preferred, set the fan speed to normal.
4) Power Button
Turns the unit on and o.
5/7) Up (+) & Down (–) Buttons
The relative humidity (RH) can be set within a range of 35%
to 85% in 5% increments. For drier air, press the pad and set a
lower percentage value (%). For damper air, press the pad and
set a higher percentage value (%).
6) Timer Button
Activate the unit for a set period of time, increased and
decreased using the + and – buttons
DISPLAY:
Shows the set % humidity level from 35% to 85% or auto start/stop time (0~24) while setting, then shows
the actual (5% accuracy) room % humidity level in a range of 30% RH (Relative Humidity) to 90%RH (Relative Humidity).
ERROR CODES AND PROTECTION CODES:
AS) Humidity sensor error—Unplug the unit and plug it back in. If error repeats, call for service.
ES) Temperature sensor error—Unplug the unit and plug it back in. If error repeats, call for service.
P2- Reservoir is full or reservoir is not seated correctly—Empty the reservoir and replace it in the right
position.
EC) Unit malfuction—Please make sure whether the enviroment temperature is suitable for the stated
temperature in the manual or not. If not, please operate the unit under the stated temperature. If the
enviroment temperature is suitable for the stated temperature, please call for service.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES:
RESERVOIR FULL LIGHT
• Illuminates when the reservoir is ready to be
emptied, or when the reservoir is removed and
not seated in the proper position.
AUTO SHUT OFF
• The dehumidier shuts o after 30seconds
when the reservoir is full, or when the reservoir
is removed or not seated in the proper position.
When the desired humidity level is reached, the
unit will also shut o automatically. On some
models, the fan motor will continue operating.
AUTO DEFROST
• When frost builds up on the evaporator coils, the
compressor will cycle o and the fan will continue to run until the frost disappears.
AUTO PROTECT
• Once the unit is turned o, it can not restart opertation for the rst 3 minutes. This is to protect
the unit. Operation will automatically resume
after 3 minutes.
CHECK FILTER
• The system keeps count when the fan motor
operates and illuminates the clean lter light
after 250 hours of operation (every 10 days if in
continuous use). The indicator light ashes one
time each second.
• After cleaning the air lter, press the lter button
on the control panel and the indicator turns o.
AUTO RESTART
• If the power goes out, the unit will restart with
the previous function settings automatically
when power returns.
TIMER FUNCTION
• The timer indicator lights are for two separate
functions, one to automatically turn the unit on
and another to automatically shut it o. Both
programs can be set at the same time.
Setting the unit to automatically turn o:
• Push the timer button once (if dehumidier is
running) or twice (if dehumidier is not running)
until the ‘OFF’ indicator illuminates
• Use the + and – pad to select the number of
hours before the unit automatically turns o.
• The time will be programmed after 5 seconds of
inactivity and the display will return to show the
humidity level.
Setting the unit to automatically turn on:
• Push the timer button once (if dehumidier is not
running) or twice (if dehumidier is running) until
the ‘ON’ indicator illuminates.
• Use the + and – pad to select the number of
hours before the unit automatically turns o.
• The time will be programmed after 5 seconds of
inactivity and the display will return to show the
humidity level.
NOTE: Both ‘ON’ and ‘OFF’ indicators can be illu-
minated—the unit will automatically turn itself
on and o according to the programmed times.

TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS:
Problem What to Check
Unit does not start
Dehumidier does not dry
the air as it should
• Make sure the dehumidier plug is pushed completely into the outlet.
• Check the house fuse/circuit breaker box.
• Dehumidier has reached its preset level or bucket is full.
• Reservoir is not in the proper position.
• Did not allow enough time to remove the moisture.
• Make sure there are no curtains, blinds or furniture blocking the front
or back of the dehumidier.
• The humidity control may not be set low enough.
• Check that all doors, windows and other openings are securely closed.
• Room temperature is too low, below 41°F (5°C).
• There is a kerosene heater or something giving o water vapor in the
room.
The unit makes a loud noise
when operating
• The air lter is clogged.
• The unit is tilted instead of upright as it should be.
• The oor surface is not level.
Frost appears on the coils • This is normal. The dehumidier has an auto–defrost feature.
Water on oor
ES, AS, P2 and EC appear
in the display
• Hose to connector or hose connection may be loose.
• During use with collection reservoir, but the back drain plug is open.
• These are normal error codes, please see page 7 for solutions.

IMPORTANT: Turn the dehumidier o and remove the plug
from the wall outlet before cleaning.
CLEANING THE GRILLE AND CASE:
• Use water and a mild detergent. Do not use bleach
or abrasives.
• Do not splash water directly onto the main unit. Doing so
may cause an electrical shock, cause the insulation to deteriorate, or cause the unit to rust.
• The air intake and outlet grilles get soiled easily, so use a
vacuum attachment or brush to clean.
CLEANING THE RESERVOIR:
Every few weeks, clean the reservoir to prevent growth of
mold, mildew and bacteria. Partially ll the reservoir with
clean water and add a little mild detergent. Swish it around in
the reservoir, empty and rinse.
NOTE: Do not use a dishwasher to clean the reservoir. After
cleaning, the reservoir must be in place and securely seated
for the dehumidier to operate.
CLEANING THE AIR FILTER
• Remove the lter every two weeks based on normal operating conditions.
• Remove the lter from the top of the unit (Figure 1) or to
remove the lter, remove reservoir then pull lter
downwards (Figure 2).
• Wash the lter with clean water then dry. Re-install the lter,
replace the reservoir.
CAUTION: DO NOT operate the dehumidier without a lter
because dirt and lint will clog it and reduce performance.
BEFORE STORING OR NOT USING A UNIT
FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME:
• After turning o the unit, wait one day before emptying the
reservoir.
• Clean the main unit, water reservoir and air lter.
• Wrap the cord and bundle it with the band (Figure 3). Cover
the unit with a plastic bag.
• Store the unit upright in a dry, well-ventilated place.

INSTALACIÓN Y OPERACIÓN:
Revise cuidadosamente todas estas instrucciones antes de proceder a instalar y hacer funcionar su des-humidicador. El no hacerlo puede causar daños, lesiones o daño corporal incluyendo la discapacidad permanente y / o muerte.
COLOCACIÓN DE LA UNIDAD:
Un des-humidicador funcionando en un sótano tendrá poco o ningún efecto en el secado de una zona
adyacente de almacenamiento cerrado, tales como un armario, a menos que exista una circulación adecuada de aire dentro y fuera de la zona.
• No use al aire libre.
• Este des-humidicador está diseñado para propósitos residenciales solamente. Este des-humidicador no debe utilizarse
para aplicaciones comerciales o industriales.
• Coloque el des-humidicador en un piso rme y nivelado lo
sucientemente fuerte como para soportar la unidad con un
depósito lleno de agua.
• Deje al menos 20 cm de espacio por todos los lados de la unidad
para la buena circulación de aire.
• Coloque la unidad en una zona donde la temperatura no descienda
por debajo de 41 °F (5 °C). Las bobinas pueden se pueden cubrir de
hielo a temperaturas inferiores a 41 °F (5 °C), lo que puede reducir el
rendimiento.
Ruedas (4 en la parte inferior de la

CUANDO USE LA UNIDAD:
• Cuando use por primera el des-humidicador, opere la unidad de manera continua por 24 horas.
• Esta unidad está diseñada para operar en un ambiente de trabajo entre 41 °F-95 °F (5 °C-35 °C).
• Si la unidad se ha apagado y se debe conectar de nuevo rápidamente, espere unos tres minutos para
que se reinicie su funcionamiento de manera correcta.
• No conecte el des-humidicador a una toma múltiple, la cual también esté siendo utilizada por otros
aparatos eléctricos.
• Seleccione un lugar adecuado, asegurándose de tener fácil acceso a una toma de corriente eléctrica.
• Conecte la unidad a una toma de corriente eléctrica con conexión a tierra.
• Asegúrese de que el depósito de agua esté instalado correctamente de lo contrario la unidad no funcionará adecuadamente.
• NOTA:
Cuando el agua en el depósito llega a un cierto nivel, tenga cuidado cuando mueva el equipo
para evitar que se derrame.

MANUAL DE INSTRUCCIONES CONTINUACIÓN:
DRENAJE DEL AGUA RECOGIDA:
Hay dos formas de eliminar el agua recogida.
1. UTILICE EL DEPÓSITO
• Cuando la unidad está apagada, si el depósito está lleno, la unidad pitará 8
veces y TODO el indicador luminoso parpadeará, la pantalla digital mostrará
P2.
• Cuando la unidad está encendida, si el depósito está lleno, el compresor se
apaga y el ventilador se apagara después de 30 segundos para secar el agua
del condensador; luego la unidad pitará 8 veces y TODO el indicador lumino
so parpadeará. La pantalla digital mostrará error P2.
-
• Retire lentamente el depósito. Agarre las asas izquierda y derecha rme
mente y tire con cuidado de forma recta para que el agua no se derrame. No
ponga el tanque en el suelo porque el fondo del contendor no es uniforme.
Si el depósito se pone sobre el suelo, este se caerá y va a derramar el agua.
• Deseche el agua y vuelva a poner el depósito. El depósito debe estar en su
lugar y bien sujeto para que el deshumidicador funcione.
• La máquina se reiniciará cuando el depósito esté puesto correctamente.
• NOTAS: Cuando retire el depósito, no toque ninguna pieza en el interior
de la unidad. Si lo hace, podría dañar el producto. Asegúrese de empujar el
depósito suavemente hasta el fondo de la unidad. Golpear el depósito contra
cualquier cosa o no empujarla en forma segura puede hacer que la unidad
deje de funcionar. Si se derrama agua o encuentra dentro de la unidad al
retirar el depósito, se debe secarla.
2. DRENAJE CONTINUO
El agua puede desecharse automáticamente hacia un drenaje en el piso
jando la unidad con una manguera de agua (5/16” de diámetro) con una
terminación de rosca tipo hembra de 1”.
• Instale la manguera de desagüe en el adaptador A (Ver Figura C).
• Retire la tapa de plástico de la salida de drenaje posterior de la unidad,
déjela a un lado y quite el depósito. A continuación inserte la manguera
de desagüe a través de la salida de drenaje de la unidad y presione rme
mente el conector en la parte frontal de la unidad (Ver Figura E).

• Apriete el adaptador A y la unidad mediante dos tornillos (puestos en el
depósito).
• Instale el extremo con rosca tipo hembra de la manguera de agua en el adaptador A (Ver gura F), a continu
ación, lleve la manguera de agua al desagüe en el suelo o en un lugar adecuado drenaje.
• Asegúrese de que la manguera esté asegurada para que no haya fugas. Dirija la manguera hacia el drenaje,
asegurándose de que no existan dobleces que detengan el ujo de agua.Ponga el extremo de la manguera
en el desagüe y asegúrese de que el extremo de la manguera está a nivel o hacia abajo para dejar que el agua
uya sin problemas. Nunca apunte la manguera hacia arriba.
• Ponga el tanque nuevamente en la unidad y asegúrese de que está bien asentado.
• Seleccione el ajuste de humedad deseado y la velocidad del ventilador en la unidad para comenzar el drenaje
continuo.

1) Botón Continuo
Presione para activar el modo de des-humidicación continuo.
2) Botón Filtrar
El indicador de comprobación del ltro es una función para
recordarle que debe limpiar el ltro de aire para un funcionamiento más eciente. El ltro de luz se iluminará después
de 250 horas de funcionamiento. Para reiniciarlo después de
limpiar el ltro, presione el botón de ltro y la luz se apagará.

La humedad relativa (HR) se puede ajustar en un rango
de entre 35% a 85% en incrementos del 5%.Para un aire
más seco, presione el botón y seleccione un valor de menor
porcentaje (%).Para regular el aire, pulse el botón y seleccione
un valor de mayor porcentaje (%).
6) Botón del Temporizador
Activa la unidad durante un período de tiempo determinado,
se aumenta y se disminuye usando los botones + y -
PANTALLA:
Muestra el % del nivel de humedad entre el 35% y el 85% o el tiempo de encendido/apagado automático
(0 ~ 24) durante el ajuste. Luego muestra el % real del nivel de humedad de la habitación (5% de exactitud) en un rango entre el 30% de HR (humedad relativa) y el 90% de HR (humedad relativa).
CÓDIGOS DE ERROR Y DE PROTECCIÓN:
AS) Error en el sensor de humedad—Desconecte la unidad y vuelva a conectarla. Si se repite el error,
llame al servicio técnico.
ES) Error en el sensor de temperatura—Desenchufe la unidad y vuelva a conectarla. Si se repite el error,
llame al servicio técnico.
P2) Si el depósito está lleno o no está puesto correctamente—Vacié el depósito y vuelva a ponerlo en la
posición correcta.
CE) Error en el funcionamiento de la unidad—Por favor asegúrese de que la temperatura ambiente es
adecuada o no para la temperatura indicada en el manual. En caso contrario, por favor utilice la unidad
bajo la temperatura indicada. Si la temperatura ambiente es adecuada para la temperatura jada, por
favor llame al servicio técnico.

CARACTERÍSTICAS ADICIONALES:
LUZ INDICADORA DE DEPÓSITO LLENO
• Se ilumina cuando el depósito está listo para ser
vaciado, o cuando el depósito se retira y no se
pone en la posición adecuada.
APAGADO AUTOMÁTICO
• El des-humidicador se apaga 30 después de que
el depósito está lleno, o cuando el depósito se
retira, o cuando no se pone en la posición adecuada. Cuando se alcanza el nivel de humedad
deseado, la unidad también se apaga automáticamente. En algunos modelos, el motor del ventilador continuará funcionando.
DESCONGELADO AUTOMÁTICO
• Cuando se acumule escarcha en las bobinas del
evaporador, el compresor se apaga y el ventilador continuará funcionando hasta que la escarcha desaparezca.
PROTECCIÓN AUTOMÁTICA
• Una vez que la unidad está apagada, no se puede
reiniciar su funcionamiento durante los siguientes 3 minutos. Esto es para proteger la unidad. El
funcionamiento se reanudará automáticamente
después de 3 minutos.
COMPROBACIÓN DEL FILTRO
• El sistema lleva la cuenta del funcionamiento
del motor del ventilador y se enciende la luz de
limpiar el ltro después de 250 horas de funcionamiento (cada 10 días si está en uso continuo).
El indicador luminoso parpadea una vez cada
segundo.
• Después de limpiar el ltro de aire, pulse el botón
de ltro en el panel de control y el indicador se
apagará.
REINICIO AUTOMÁTICOS
• Si se va la energía eléctrica, la unidad se reiniciará
automáticamente con los ajustes de las funciones
anteriores cuando se restablezca el suministro
eléctrico.
FUNCIÓN DE TEMPORIZADOR
• Las luces del indicador del temporizador son
para dos funciones distintas, una para apagar
automáticamente la unidad y otra para que
apagarlo automáticamente. Ambos programas se
pueden establecer al mismo tiempo.
Ajuste la unidad para que se apague automáticamente:
• Presione el botón del temporizador una vez (si
el des-humidicador está en funcionamiento)
o dos veces (si el des-humidicador no está en
funcionamiento) hasta que el indicador “OFF” se
encienda.
• Utilice las teclas + y - para seleccionar el número de horas antes de que la unidad se apague
automáticamente.
• La hora se programará después de 5 segundos de
inactividad y la pantalla volverá a mostrar el nivel
de humedad.
Programe la unidad para encenderse automáticamente:
• Presione el botón del temporizador una vez (si
des-humidicador no está en funcionamiento) o
dos veces (si des-humidicador está en funcionamiento) hasta que el indicador “ON” se encienda.
• Utilice las teclas + y - para seleccionar el número de horas antes de que la unidad se apague
automáticamente.
• La hora se programará después de 5 segundos de
inactividad y la pantalla volverá a mostrar el nivel
de humedad.
NOTA: Los dos indicadores ‘ON’ y ‘OFF’ se pueden
encender—la unidad automáticamente se encenderá y apagará de acuerdo a los tiempos
programados.

• Utilice la unidad en el tamaño de habitación recomendado.
• Ponga la unidad en donde los muebles no puedan obstruir el ujo de aire.
• Mantenga limpios los ltros.

CONSEJOS PARA SOLUCIONAR PROBLEMAS:

La unidad hace un ruido fuerte

• El ltro de aire está obstruido.
• La unidad está inclinada en vez de estar verticalmente como debería.
• La supercie del piso no está nivelada.
• Esto es normal. El des-humidicador tiene una función de auto-des-
congelación.
• La conexión de la manguera o el conector pueden estar sueltos.
El agua en el suelo
• Durante el uso con depósito de agua el tapón de drenaje trasero está
abierta.

IMPORTANTE: Apague el des-humidicador y desconecte el
enchufe de la toma de corriente antes de limpiarlo.
LIMPIEZA DE LA REJILLA Y EL GABINETE:
• Use agua y un detergente suave. No utilice blanqueador o
abrasivos.
• No vierta agua directamente sobre la unidad principal. Si lo
hace, podría provocar una descarga eléctrica, provocar deterioro, o que la unidad se oxide.
• La toma de aire y rejillas de salida se ensucian fácilmente, así
que utilice un aspirador o cepillo para limpiarlas.
LIMPIEZA DEL DEPÓSITO:
Cada pocas semanas, limpie el depósito para evitar el crecimiento de moho, hongos y bacterias. Llene parcialmente el
tanque con agua limpia y añada un poco de detergente suave.
Agítela alrededor del depósito, vacíe y enjuague.
NOTA: No utilice el lavavajillas para limpiar el depósito.
Después de la limpieza, el depósito debe ponerse en su lugar y
asegurarlo para que el des-humidicador funcione.
LIMPIEZA DEL FILTRO DE AIRE
• Retire el ltro cada dos semanas según las condiciones normales de funcionamiento.
• Retire el ltro de la parte superior de la unidad (Figura 1) o
para quitar el ltro, quite depósito y hale el ltro hacia abajo
(Figura 2).
• Lave el ltro con agua limpia y séquelo. Vuelva a instalar el
ltro, vuelva a poner el depósito.
PRECAUCIÓN: NO utilice el des- humidicador sin ltro ya que
la suciedad y las pelusas lo obstruirán y reducirán el rendimiento.
ANTES DE GUARDAR O NO UTILIZAR UNA UNIDAD
DURANTE UN PERIODO DE TIEMPO LARGO:
• Después de apagar la unidad, espere un día antes de vaciar el
depósito.
• Limpie la unidad principal, el depósito de agua y el ltro de
aire.
• Envuelva el cable y empáquelo con la cinta (Figura 3). Cubra la
unidad con una bolsa de plástico.
• Guarde la unidad en posición vertical en un lugar seco y bien
ventilado.
