SB-6080 Softbox
INSTRUCTIONS
Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Impact SB-6080 Softbox. This
softbox is designed to control and modify light for your
specific photographic needs. The SB-6080 is compatible with
flash, LED, and fluorescent lights.
The SB-6080 sports a highly reflective silver interior surface
that is used to bounce an amplified output from a light source
with strong contrast. A diffuser on the front of the softbox
softens the amplified light output, making it less overpowering for use as a primary light source. The removable inner
baffle offers you an additional way of softening and diffusing
a flash’s light output. By using both the front diffuser and
inner baffle, you can significantly reduce the contrast of light
reflected onto your subject. Using the diffuser and baffle
interchangeably affords you with multiple light output options,
ranging from high- to low-contrast extremes.
The distance from the softbox to the photography subject
affects the quality of light in the finished product. Moving the
softbox further away from the target further softens and dissipates the look and illuminating effect it will have. Conversely,
positioning the softbox closer to your subject will create more
powerful illumination results.
