INSTRUCTIONS

Introduction
Thank you for choosing Impact.
The Impact 3-Lamp Fluorescent Ring Light 19" is a continuous light for photography and video. It casts a soft, wraparound glow without the harsh shadows of conventional ashes. Three uorescent lamps produce a pleasing daylight color at 5200 K for natural light quality, and white lining in the housing maximizes the output. The uorescent lamps minimize heat so you can get close to your subject, which is ideal for portrait or product photography.
Each lamp has an independent power switch, allowing individual selection of the lamps. The tilt-and-ratchet stand mount attaches to most light stands that have a 5/8" mounting stud. And most small- to medium-size camera and lens combos will work with the 100 mm lens opening and camera-mountable bracket. The bracket is adjustable vertically and allows adjustment of your camera horizontally for a universal t.

Operating Instructions
Adjusting the angle
Rotate the ratchet-and-tilt locking handle counterclockwise until loose. When there is no more room to swing the ratchet handle, pull the handle out until it’s able to freely rotate back to another position, and continue to loosen. Tilt the ring light xture to the desired position. Rotate the handle clockwise to tighten.
Attaching the camera bracket
Gently place the Ring Light facedown on an even surface. Unscrew and remove the camera bracket locking knobs, and place two of the included rubber washers over the threaded sockets. Align the camera bracket cutout with the sockets, and keep the padded arm facing upwards and behind the lens opening. Place the remaining two rubber sockets onto the bracket, and then insert and tighten the bracket locking knobs until secure.

Attaching your camera
Align the lens of the camera with the lens opening. Adjust the camera bracket vertically so that the lens can t into the lens opening. Align your camera’s tripod mount with the camera bracket’s locking screw. Rotate the locking screw counterclockwise until your camera is securely attached to the bracket.
Attaching the diffuser
With both hands, place the elastic lip of the diffuser around the back of the light xture. From the top, work your hands down until the diffuser is wrapped completely around the xture. Use the drawstring to tighten the diffuser to the housing.
