2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Die Geräte (Sender, Empfänger, Empfangsmodul) entsprechen der Richtlinie 89/336/ EWG für elektro­magnetische Verträglichkeit. Der Empfänger ent­spricht zusätzlich der Niederspannungsrichtlinie 73/23/EWG.
Beachten Sie auch unbedingt die folgenden Punkte:
●
Verwenden Sie die Geräte nur im Innenbereich. Schützen Sie sie vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Ein­satztemperaturbereich 0– 40°C).
●
Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gefäße, z.B. Trinkgläser, auf den Empfänger.
●
Nehmen Sie den Empfänger nicht in Betrieb bzw. ziehen Sie den Netzstecker sofort aus der Steck­dose, wenn:
1. sichtbare Schäden am Empfänger oder an der Netzanschlussleitung vorhanden sind,
2. nach einem Sturz oder ähnlichem der Verdacht auf einen Defekt besteht,
3. Funktionsstörungen auftreten.
Geben Sie die Geräte in jedem Fall zur Reparatur in eine Fachwerkstatt.

Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nie an der Zuleitung aus der Steckdose, fassen Sie immer am Stecker an!

Werden die Geräte zweckentfremdet, nicht richtig bedient oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann für eventuelle Schäden keine Haftung übernommen werden.

3 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Mit diesem Audio-Übertragungssystem können Musik und Sprache vom Sender drahtlos zum Empfänger übertragen werden. Die Reichweite beträgt ca. 30m und ist von den örtlichen Gegebenheiten abhängig.
Achtung!
Der Empfänger wird mit lebensgefährlicher Netz­spannung (230 V~) versorgt. Nehmen Sie deshalb niemals selbst Eingriffe im Empfänger vor. Durch un­sachgemäßes Vorgehen besteht die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages. Außerdem erlischt beim Öff­nen eines der Geräte jeglicher Garantieanspruch.

2 Safety Notes
The units (transmitter, receiver, receiving module) correspond to the directive 89/336 /EEC for electro­magnetic compatibility. In addition, the receiver cor­responds to low voltage directive 73/23/EEC.
Please observe the following items in any case:
●
The units are suitable for indoor use only. Protect them against dripping water and splash water, high humidity, and heat (ambient temperature range 0–40°C).
●
Do not place any vessels filled with liquid, e.g. drinking glasses, on the receiver.
●
Do not set the unit into operation or immediately take the mains plug out of the mains socket if:
1. damage at the receiver or mains cable can be seen,
2. a defect might have occurred after a drop or similar accident,
3. there are malfunctions.
The units must in any case be repaired by author­ized personnel.
●
Never pull the mains plug out of the mains socket by means of the mains cable; always seize the plug!
●
If the units are used for purposes other than orig­inally intended, if they are operated in the wrong way or not repaired by authorized skilled person­nel, there is no liability for possible damage.
●
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no means chemicals or water.
●
If the units are to be put out of operation definiti­vely, take them to a local recycling plant for a dis­posal which is not harmful to the environment.
●
Important for U.K. Customers!
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in ac­cordance with the following code:
green/yellow = earth blue = neutral brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
Leave servicing to authorized skilled personnel only. Furthermore, any guarantee claim expires if one of the units has been opened.
Attention!
The receiver unit uses lethal mains voltage (230V~). In order to prevent a shock hazard, do not open it.

Das Übertragungssystem der Serie TXS-200 von „img Stage Line“ ist modular aufgebaut. Dadurch lässt sich aus den folgenden Modulen je nach Anzahl der benötigten Übertragungskanäle und der verfüg­baren Kanalfrequenzen eine drahtlose Audio-Über­tragung realisieren:
1. Empfänger (Grundgerät zum Einschub der Emp­fangsmodule und Bedienteile)
2. Empfangsmodule für vier verschiedene Kanäle (Frequenzen) im VHF-Bereich mit dazugehörigen Bedienteilen
3. Sender, in der Frequenz zu den Empfangsmodu­len passend
Die Empfänger gibt es in zwei Ausführungen: TXS-222HD zum Einschub von zwei Empfangs-
modulen
TXS-242HD zum Einschub von vier Empfangsmo-
dulen Die Sender gibt es in vier Ausführungen: TXS-2..GT mit Adapterkabel zum Anschluss an ein
Instrument
TXS-2..HT als Handmikrofon TXS-2..LT zum Anschluss des beiliegenden Kra-
wattenmikrofons TXS-2..SX zum Anschluss des beiliegenden Kopf-

Modulübersicht
Die Frequenz des Senders und die des Empfangs­moduls muss übereinstimmen, d.h. jeder Sender kann nur mit einem Empfangsmodul der gleichen Spalte kombiniert werden.
Die Empfangsmodule arbeiten mit „True Diver­sity“-Technik: Das Sendesignal wird von zwei räum­lich getrennten Antennen empfangen und in zwei Empfangsteilen getrennt weiterverarbeitet. Das je­weils bessere Signal der beiden Empfangsteile wird durch die Elektronik auf den Ausgang geschaltet.
4 Anmeldepflicht
Die Empfangsmodule sind anmeldefrei. Die Zulas­sungen für die Sender sind nach der R+ TTE-Richt­linie (Radio and T elecommunication Technical Equip­ment) in fast allen Staaten der Europäischen Union gültig, z.B. in der Bundesrepuplik Deutschland. Fra­gen Sie bitte vor dem Betrieb bzw. dem Kauf des Übertragungssystems bei Ihrem Fachhändler oder der MONACOR-Niederlassung des entsprechenden Landes nach. Für die Sender muss in der Bundesre­buplik Deutschland für jeden Übertragungskanal eine Frequenzzuteilung beantragt werden. Weitere Informationen dazu und ein entsprechender Antrag sind jedem Sender beigelegt.
In anderen Ländern muss eventuell eine entspre­chende Genehmigung beantragt werden. Wenden Sie sich dazu bitte an Ihren Fachhändler bzw. an Ihre MONACOR-Niederlassung.
5 Aufstellmöglichkeiten
Der Empfänger ist als Tischgerät oder für den Ein­schub in ein Rack (482 mm/19") vorgesehen. Für den Rack-Einbau die beiden beiliegenden Montage­winkel links und rechts am Empfängergehäuse anschrauben. Im Rack wird für den Einbau eine Höhe von 1HE (1 Höheneinheit = 44,5mm) benötigt.
Sollen beim Rack-Einbau die Empfangsantennen auf der Frontseite montiert werden, die als Zubehör erhältlichen Montagewinkel TXS-35BNC von „img Stage Line“ anstelle der beiliegenden Winkel ver­wenden. Die Winkel sind mit je einer BNC-Buchse
ausgestattet, die über ein festverdrahtetes Verlänge­rungskabel mit der Antennenbuchse des Empfän­gers verbunden wird.
Um die Antennen in einem größeren Abstand zum Empfänger anzubringen, können zusätzlich die Mon­tagewinkel TXS-100BNC von „img Stage Line“ ver­wendet werden. Die Länge des Anschlusskabels die­ser Winkel beträgt 1m.
6 Inbetriebnahme
6.1 Empfangsmodule einsetzen
Das Einsetzen der Empfangsmodule in das Grund­gerät ist in der Abb. 7 dargestellt.
1) Bei Bedarf die Abdeckplatte abnehmen. Dazu die
Rastnase der Abdeckplatte mit einem Schrauben-
dreher ausrasten.
2) Die Abdeckplatte abnehmen.
3) Das Empfangsmodul wie gezeigt bis zum An-
schlag einschieben.
4) Das Anschlusskabel des Grundgerätes in das
Stiftgehäuse des Bedienteils stecken.
5) Die linke Seite des Bedienteils an die linke Kante
der Frontplattenaussparung setzen und das kom-
plette Bedienteil durch Hineinklappen in die Aus-
sparung einrasten.
6.2 Stromversorgung
6.2.1 Empfänger
1) Das beiliegende Netzanschlusskabel zuerst in die
Netzanschlussbuchse (12) des Empfängers ste-
cken und dann in eine Steckdose (230V~/50Hz).
2) Zum netzunabhängigen Betrieb der Übertra-
gungsanlage kann der Empfänger aber auch über
eine 12-V-Batterie (z.B. Autobatterie) versorgt
werden. Der Anschluss erfolgt über die Kleinspan-
nungsbuchse DC INPUT (14). Dazu wird ein
Kleinspannungsstecker 5,5/2,1 mm (Außen-/In-
nendurchmesser) benötigt. An der Steckerspitze
muss der Pluspol anliegen.

3 Applications
With this audio transmission system music and speech can be transmitted from the transmitter to the receiver in a wireless way. The range is approx. 30m and depends on the local conditions.
The transmission system of series TXS-200 of “img Stage Line” is built up in a modular way. Thus, a wireless audio transmission can be realized by selecting the following modules depending on the number of the required transmission channels and the available channel frequencies:
1. Receiver (basic unit for insertion of the receiving
modules and the operating parts)
2. Receiving modules for four different channels
(frequencies) in the VHF range with respective
operating parts
3. Transmitters matching the frequency of the
receiving modules The receivers are available in two versions:
TXS-222HD for inserting two receiving modules TXS-242HD for inserting four receiving modules
The transmitters are available in four versions: TXS-2..GT with adapter cable for connection to an
instrument
TXS-2..HT as hand-held microphone TXS-2..LT for connecting the supplied tie-clip
microphone
TXS-2..SX for connecting the supplied head-worn
microphone
Modules
The frequencies of the transmitter and the receiving module must be the same, i.e. each transmitter can only be combined with a receiving module of the same column.
The receiving modules operate with “true diver­sity” technique: the transmitting signal is received by antennas located at a distance from each other and is separately processed in two receiving parts. The respectively better signal of the two receiving parts is switched to the output by the electronics.
4 Admission for Operation
The receiving modules do not have to be registered. According to the R+TTE directive (Radio and Tele­communication T echnical Equipment) the approval of the transmitters is valid in almost all countries of the European Union, e.g. in the Federal Republic of Ger­many. Prior to the operation or the purchase of the transmission system consult your retailer or the MONACOR subsidiary of the corresponding country. Regarding the transmitters, in the Federal Republic of Germany a frequency allotment must be applied for each transmission channel. Further information and a corresponding application is supplied with each trans­mitter.
In other countries a corresponding approval might be applied for. Consult your retailer resp. your MONACOR subsidiary.
5 Installation
The receiver is provided as table top unit or for instal­lation into a rack (482 mm /19"). For rack installation, screw on the two supplied mounting brackets at the left and right of the receiver housing. Aheight of 1 rack space (= 44.5mm) is required for rack installation.
If the receiving antennas are to be mounted at the front panel when installing them into the rack, use the mounting brackets TXS-35BNC by “img Stage Line” (available as accessories) instead of the supplied brackets. The brackets are equipped with one BNC jack each which is connected via a fixed wired exten­sion cable to the antenna jack of the receiver.
For mounting the antennas at a larger distance to the receiver, the mounting brackets TXS-100BNC by “img Stage Line” can additionally be used. The length of the connection cable of these brackets is 1 m.
6 Setting into Operation
6.1 Installing the receiving modules
Fig. 7 shows the installation of the receiving modules into the basic unit.
1) If necessary, take off the cover plate. Release the
latch of the cover plate with a screw driver.
2) Take off the cover plate.
3) Insert the receiving module up to the stop as shown.
4) Plug in the connection cable of the basic unit into
the pin housing of the operating part.
5) Place the left side of the operating part at the left
edge of the front panel cutout, and lock in the com-
plete operating part by folding it into the cutout.
6.2 Power supply
6.2.1 Receiver
1) At first plug the supplied mains cable into the
mains jack (12) of the receiver and then into a
mains socket (230V~/50Hz).
2) For operation of the transmission system inde-
pendent of the mains, the receiver can also be
supplied via a 12 V battery (e.g. car battery). The
connection is made via the low voltage jack DC

2) Eine 9-V-Batterie, mit den Plus- und Minusan­schlüssen wie im Batteriefach (25) aufgedruckt, einsetzen. Die Kappe (26) wieder festschrauben.
3) Mit einer frischen Batterie kann das Mikrofon ca. 6–8 Stunden betrieben werden.
4) Bei längerem Nichtgebrauch (z. B. länger als eine Woche) sollte die Batterie herausgenommen wer­den. So bleibt das Mikrofon bei einem eventuellen Auslaufen der Batterie unbeschädigt.
6.2.3 Taschensender
(Modelle TXS-2..GT, TXS-2..LT, TXS-2..SX, Abb. 6)
1) Den Batteriefachdeckel abnehmen.
2) Eine 9-V-Batterie, mit den Plus- und Minusan­schlüssen wie in Abb. 6 dargestellt, einsetzen. Den Deckel wieder schließen.
3) Mit einer frischen Batterie kann der Sender ca. 6–8 Stunden betrieben werden.
4) Bei längerem Nichtgebrauch (z. B. länger als eine Woche) sollte die Batterie herausgenommen wer­den. So bleibt der Sender bei einem eventuellen Auslaufen der Batterie unbeschädigt.
6.3 Audio- und Antennen-Anschluss
1) Die einzelnen Audiokanal-Ausgänge CHANNEL 1–4 des Empfängers (17 – 20) können an je einen Line-Eingang (z. B. für CD-Spieler, Tape­Deck) eines Mischpultes angeschlossen werden. Alternativ lässt sich das Summensignal aller Emp­fangskanäle über den Ausgang MIXER OUT (16) an einen Line-Eingang eines Verstärkers an­schließen. Den Verstärker erst einschalten bzw. die entsprechenden Mischpultregler erst auf­ziehen, wenn das Übertragungssystem komplett eingeschaltet ist.
2) Die beiden beiliegenden Antennen in die Buchsen ANTENNA (11+22) stecken bzw. in die Buchsen der Montagewinkel (siehe Kap. 5 „Aufstellmög-
lichkeiten“). Die Antennen senkrecht stellen, ganz herausziehen und etwas voneinander weg­schwenken. Bei Bedarf sind Ersatzantennen unter der Bezeichnung TXS-1BNC von „img Stage Line“ erhältlich.
7 Bedienung
1) Den Empfänger mit dem Schalter POWER (6) einschalten. Die Betriebsanzeige (5) leuchtet.
Die weiteren Einstellungen sind für jeden Übertragungskanal getrennt durchzuführen. Die folgenden Bedienschritte beziehen sich auf einen Kanal.
2) Die Ansprechschwelle der Störunterdrückung ein­stellen. Dazu den Sender noch ausgeschaltet lassen. Den Regler SQUELCH (9) in die Position „10“ drehen. Keine der beiden Empfangsanzeigen A oder B (8) darf leuchten. Wenn eine oder beide Anzeigen leuchten, werden Störungen empfan­gen. Zur Unterdrückung den Regler SQUELCH gerade so weit entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn zurückdrehen, bis keine der Anzeigen A und B leuchtet. Den Regler danach nicht weiter drehen, sonst wird eventuell auch das Mikrofonsignal unterdrückt.
3) Bei den Taschensendern (Abb. 5) an die 3,5-mm­Klinkenbuchse (27) das beiliegende Kopfbügel­oder Krawattenmikrofon anschließen bzw. über das beiliegende Adapterkabel (mit 3,5- und 6,3-mm­Klinkenstecker) ein Instrument anschließen. Das jeweilige Anschlusskabel dient gleichzeitig als Antenne. Für eine große Reichweite darf es nicht zusammengerollt oder gekürzt werden.
4) Den Taschensender mit dem Schalter (30) ein­schalten (Position ON) bzw. das Handmikrofon mit dem Schalter (24). Die Betriebsanzeige (23 bzw. 28) leuchtet. Bleibt sie dunkel, muss eine neue Batterie eingesetzt werden.
Für die Tonübertragung am Handmikrofon den Schalter ganz nach oben schieben bzw. am Taschensender ganz in die Position ON. In der Mittelstellung steht der Sender auf Mute, d.h. der
Sender arbeitet, aber das Tonsignal ist noch stummgeschaltet.
5) Am Empfänger muss jetzt eine der Empfangs­anzeigen A oder B (8) leuchten. Bleiben die An­zeigen dunkel, ist der Empfang zu schwach: a Ist die Batterie im Sender verbraucht? b Ist der Abstand Sender – Empfänger zu groß?
Die Reichweite beträgt ca. 30m.
c Wird der Empfang z. B. durch Gegenstände in
der Übertragungsstrecke gestört?
d Lässt sich der Empfang durch Schwenken der
Empfangsantennen verbessern?
e Ist am Sender das Anschlusskabel auf ganzer
Länge ausgestreckt? Siehe Punkt 3).
f Ist die Rauschsperre mit dem Regler
SQUELCH (9) zu hoch eingestellt? Siehe Punkt 2).
6) Die Empfangslautstärke kann an der LED-Pegel­anzeige LEVEL(7) überwacht werden. Die Anzeige ist unabhängig vom Lautstärkeregler VOLUME (10). Wird das Mikrofonsystem durch eine zu hohe Lautstärke am Mikrofon übersteuert, leuchtet der rote Bereich der Anzeige auf. Die Lautstärke der Schallquelle muss reduziert oder der Mikrofonab­stand zur Schallquelle vergrößert werden.
Ist die Lautstärke am Mikrofon gering, ergibt sich ein schlechter Rauschabstand. Die Lautstärke der Schallquelle muss erhöht oder der Mikrofonab­stand zur Schallquelle verringert werden.
7) Die Ausgangslautstärke der einzelnen Empfangs­kanäle mit den Reglern VOLUME (10) an die Ein­gänge des Verstärkers bzw . Mischpults anpassen.
Wird als Ausgang die Buchse MIXER OUT(16) verwendet, mit den Reglern VOLUME das ge­wünschte Lautstärkeverhältnis der Audiokanäle untereinander einstellen und mit dem Schalter LEVEL (15) den Ausgangspegel grob an den Ein­gang des nachfolgenden Gerätes anpassen.
8) Nach dem Betrieb nicht vergessen, auch den /die Sender auszuschalten, sonst sind bei dem näch­sten Betrieb die Batterien verbraucht.
Änderungen vorbehalten.
INPUT (14). A low voltage plug 5.5 / 2.1mm (out­side/inside diameter) is required. The positive pole must be at the plug tip.
6.2.2 Hand-held microphone
(models TXS-2..HT, fig. 4)
1) Screw off the screw cap (26) at the lower end of the microphone.
2) Insert a 9 V battery with the positive and negative poles as printed in the battery compartment (25). Screw the cap (26) tightly again.
3) With a new battery the microphone can be operat­ed for approx. 6 to 8 hours.
4) If not used for a longer time (e. g. more than one week), the batteries should be taken out. Thus, the microphone will remain undamaged in case the battery should leak.
6.2.3 Pocket transmitter
(models TXS-2..GT, TXS-2..LT, TXS-2..SX, fig. 6)
1) Take off the battery compartment cover.
2) Insert a 9 V battery with the positive and negative connections as shown in fig. 6. Close the cover again.
3) With a new battery the transmitter can be operat­ed for approx. 6 to 8 hours.
4) If not used for a longer time (e. g. more than one week), the battery should be taken out. Thus, the transmitter will remain undamaged in case the battery should leak.
6.3 Audio and antenna connections
1) The individual audio outputs CHANNEL 1 to CHANNEL 4 of the receiver (17 to 20) can be connected to one line input each (e. g. for CD player, tape deck) of a mixer . Alternatively, the out­put signal of all receiving channels can be con­nected via the output MIXER OUT (16) to a line input of an amplifier. Only switch on the amplifier resp. open up the corresponding mixer faders if the transmission system is completely switched on.
2) Plug both supplied antennas into jacks ANTENNA (11+22) resp. into the jacks of the mounting brackets (see chapter 5 “Installation”). Place the antennas in vertical position, fully extract them and swivel them slightly away from each other. If required, replacement antennas with the designa­tion TXS-1BNC by “img Stage Line” are available.
7 Operation
1) Switch on the receiver with the POWER switch (6). The POWER indication (5) lights.
The further adjustments are to be carried out separately for each transmission channel. The fol­lowing operation steps refer to one channel.
2) Adjust the threshold of the interference suppres­sion. The transmitters must still be switched off. Turn control SQUELCH (9) to position “10”. None of the two reception indications A or B (8) must light. If one or both light, interferences are re­ceived. For suppression turn back control SQUELCH just so far counterclockwise until none of the indications A and B lights. Then do not turn the control further, otherwise the microphone signal may also be suppressed as well.
3) Regarding the pocket transmitters (fig. 5), connect the supplied head-worn microphone or tie-clip microphone to the 3.5mm jack (27) resp. an instrument via the supplied adapter cable (with 3.5 and 6.3mm plugs). At the same time the re­spective connection cable serves as antenna. For a large range it must not be coiled up or shortened.
4) Switch on the pocket transmitter with switch (30) (position ON) resp. the hand-held microphone with the switch (24). The POWER indication (23 resp. 28) lights. If it remains dark, a new battery must be inserted.
For audio transmission slide the switch of the hand-held microphone fully to the top resp. the switch of the pocket transmitter fully to position ON. In medium position the transmitter is in mute
condition, i.e. the transmitter operates but the audio signal is still muted.
5) One of the reception indications A or B (8) of the receiver must light now. If the indications remain dark, the reception is too poor: a Is the battery in the transmitter exhausted? b Is the distance transmitter to receiver too
large? The range is approx. 30m.
c Is the reception interfered e. g. by any objects
in the transmission path?
d Can the reception be improved by swivelling
the receiving antennas?
e Is the connection cable of the transmitter ex-
tended to its full length? See item 3).
f Is the noise muting adjusted too high with con-
trol SQUELCH (9)? See item 2).
6) The receiving volume can be monitored via the LED level display (7). The display is independent of control VOLUME (10). If the microphone system is overdriven by a microphone volume which is too high, the red area of the indication lights. The volume of the sound source must be reduced or the microphone distance to the sound source must be increased.
If the microphone volume is too low, there is a poor sound to noise ratio. The volume of the sound source must be increased or the microphone distance to the sound source must be reduced.
7) Match the output volume of the individual receiv­ing channels with controls VOLUME (10) to the inputs of the amplifier resp. mixer.
If jack MIXER OUT (16) is used as output, adjust with controls VOLUME the desired volume ratio of the audio channels among each other and match with switch LEVEL (15) the output level coarsely to the input of the following unit.
8) After operation do not forget to switch off the trans­mitter(s) as well, otherwise the batteries will be exhausted when using the transmitter(s) next time.
