4.2 Assigning the DMX addresses
4.2.1 Adjusting the DMX addresses
of the spotlights
Adjust the DMX start addresses of the spotlights to
be controlled as follows (
manual of the units):

4.2.2 Factory setting
The factory setting can be called easily and quickly
and can e. g. be used for operating the spotlights of
”img Stage Line”. The DMX addresses are assigned as follows:

Control GREEN: adresses 002, 010, 018, 026
Control BLUE: adresses 003, 011, 019, 027
Control MASTER: adresses 004, 012, 020, 028
Note: By calling the factory settings, not only the
addresses are assigned but also all scenes
(
chapter 5.2) and sequences of scenes
(
chapter 5.3) which have already been programmed are deleted. If this is not desired, the
addresses have to be assigned manually according
to the table in fig. 4 (
chapter 4.2.3).
1) Switch off the LC-4LED.
2) Keep buttons RECORD (3) and TAP SYNC (11)
pressed and switch on the control panel again.
3) After switching on, release the buttons. The dis-
play (12) shows “88” for approx. 20 seconds.
Then all LEDs of the control panel flash three
times.
4) As soon as the display shows “00”, the ad-
dresses are assigned at the LC-4LED according
to fig. 3.
4.2.3 Manual assignment
If the channel configurations of the connected spotlights do not correspond to the factory settings of
the LC-4LED, 4 DMX channels each of a total of
8 channels per spotlight can individually be assigned to the controls RED, GREEN, BLUE (7) and
MASTER (9), e. g.:

001 – 032 = DMX-adresses
1) Keep button PATCH/DOWN (15) pressed until
the red LED of the button lights up.
2)
Use one of the buttons FIXTURE (1) to select the
unit of which the DMX channels are to be assigned. The corresponding blue LED lights up.
3) Keep the button (8) below control RED (7)
pressed and then press additionally the button in
the field SCENES (2) the number of which corresponds to the DMX channel for the control of
the red LEDs (SCENES 1 = DMX channel 1, …,
SCENES 8 = DMX channel 8) and keep the button pressed.
4) First release the button below control RED (all
LEDs of the control panel flash three times) and
then the corresponding button in the field
SCENES. The selected DMX channel is thus
assigned to the control RED.
5) Repeat the steps 3 and 4 for the controls
GREEN, BLUE and MASTER.
6) For assigning further units repeat the steps 2 to
5 in each case.
7) An incorrect assignment may be corrected by
repeating the steps 2 to 5.
8) To deactivate the mode of assignment, keep button PATCH/DOWN pressed until the red LED of
the button will be extinguished.
5 Operation
1) Use the buttons FIXTURE (1) to select the units
to be operated. The corresponding blue LEDs of
the buttons light up.
2)
Advance control MASTER (9) by approx. 1⁄3 of its
control range and adjust the desired lighting
colour with the controls RED (7) for the red LEDs,
GREEN for the green LEDs and BLUE for the blue
LEDs. Advance the control of which the colour is
to dominate to maximum and adjust the desired
shade of colour with the other two controls.
