2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch

Das Gerät entspricht allen relevanten Richtlinien der
EU und ist deshalb mit gekennzeichnet.

Beachten Sie auch unbedingt die folgenden Punkte:

Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur im Innenbereich und
schützen Sie es vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser, hoher
Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Einsatztempe­raturbereich 0 – 40°C).

G

Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gefäße
z. B. Trinkgläser, auf das Gerät.

G

Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb bzw. ziehen
Sie sofort den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose,

1. wenn sichtbare Schäden am Gerät oder am Netz­kabel vorhanden sind,

2. wenn nach einem Sturz oder Ähnlichem der Ver­dacht auf einen Defekt besteht,

3. wenn Funktionsstörungen auftreten.

Geben Sie das Gerät in jedem Fall zur Reparatur in
eine Fachwerkstatt.

Ein beschädigtes Netzkabel darf nur durch eine
Fachwerkstatt ersetzt werden.

G

Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nie am Kabel aus der
Steckdose, fassen Sie immer am Stecker an.

G

Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, nicht fachgerecht
installiert, falsch angeschlossen, nicht richtig be ­dient oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann keine
Haftung für daraus resultierende Sach- oder Perso­nenschäden und keine Garantie für das Gerät über­nommen werden.

3 Einsatzmöglichkeiten

Die Nebelmaschine erzeugt durch Verdampfen einer
Nebelflüssigkeit einen Kunstnebel, der zur optimalen
Inszenierung von Lichteffekten genutzt werden kann
(z. B. auf der Bühne oder in Diskotheken).

4 Inbetriebnahme

Sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial entfernen. Es dürfen
sich keine Verpackungsreste an der Nebelaustritts­düse befinden.

4.1 Nebelflüssigkeit einfüllen

Folgende Flüssigkeiten sind für das Gerät geeignet:

Bei Verwendung anderer Nebelflüssigkeiten kann kei ­ne Garantie für einen ordnungsgemäßen Betrieb über­nommen werden.

Der Nebelflüssigkeit können folgende Duftzusätze aus
dem Sortiment von IMG STAGELINE beigefügt werden:

Eine Flasche Duftzusatz (25 ml) ist ausreichend für
5 Liter Nebelflüssigkeit. Mehr Duftzusatz darf nicht bei­gefügt werden, da sonst die Nebelmaschine verstopft.

1) Den Tankverschluss (5) abschrauben.

2) Die Nebelflüssigkeit in den Tank füllen: Den Tank
mindestens bis zu

⁄4 auffüllen und nicht mehr Flüs­sigkeit als bis zur oberen Markierung des Sicht­fensters (6) zugeben. Eventuell daneben gelaufene
Flüssigkeit sofort mit einem Tuch abwischen, damit
sie nicht ins Geräteinnere gelangt.

3) Den Tank wieder fest verschließen.

WARNUNG 1. Beim Auffüllen mit Nebelflüssigkeit

darf das Gerät nicht mit dem Strom­netz verbunden sein. Ziehen Sie
zuerst den Netzstecker aus der
Steckdose!

2. Fügen Sie der Nebelflüssigkeit niemals entzünd ­liche Flüssigkeiten bei. Explosionsgefahr!

3. Das Gerät ist nicht spritzwassergeschützt. Gelangt
Flüssigkeit in das Geräteinnere, lassen Sie es vor
der Inbetriebnahme erst in einer Fachwerkstatt
überprüfen und säubern.

Soll das Gerät endgültig aus dem Betrieb
genommen werden, übergeben Sie es zur
umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem örtli­chen Recyclingbetrieb.

WARNUNG Das Gerät wird mit lebensgefährlicher

Netzspannung (230 V~) versorgt. Neh­men Sie deshalb nie selbst Eingriffe am
Gerät vor und stecken Sie nichts durch
die Lüftungsöffnungen. Es besteht die
Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages.

4.2 Gerät aufstellen

Das Gerät auf eine waagerechte Fläche stellen. Es
lässt sich auch mit dem Bügel (7) aufhängen (z. B. mit
einer Befestigungsschelle an einer Traverse). Um es
genau waagerecht auszurichten, die Schrauben (1) an
beiden Seiten des Bügels etwas lösen, das Gerät aus­richten und die Schrauben wieder festziehen.

Hinweis: Bei Nebelmaschinen findet im Bereich der Nebel­austrittsdüse Kondensation statt. Eine erhöhte Feuchtigkeit
unterhalb der Düse ist deshalb bei der Wahl des Montage­orts zu berücksichtigen.

4.3 Bedienung

1) Die Nebelmaschine über das Netzkabel (4) an eine
Steckdose (230 V/50 Hz) anschließen.

2) Das Gerät mit dem Schalter POWER (2) einschal­ten, der Schalter leuchtet. Die Nebelmaschine heizt
ca. 5 Minuten lang auf. Während der Aufheizphase
kann noch kein Nebel ausgestoßen werden.

3) Wenn die Taste (8) der Fernbedienung leuchtet, ist
das Gerät genügend aufgeheizt und es kann Nebel
ausgestoßen werden. Dazu die Taste auf der Fern­bedienung gedrückt gehalten.

Der Magnet auf der Rückseite der Fernbedie­nung kann zum Festhaften auf einer magnetischen
Fläche verwendet werden.

Hinweis: Durch Nachtropfen von Flüssigkeit kann das
Gerät nach einem Nebelausstoß und eine Zeit lang nach
dem Ausschalten noch etwas Nebel ausstoßen.

4) Nach dem Betrieb die Nebelmaschine mit dem
Schalter POWER ausschalten.

5) Wichtig! Für einen Transport das Gerät erst abküh­len lassen und den Tank vollständig entleeren.

5 Reinigung

Verwenden Sie zur äußeren Reinigung nur ein trocke­nes, weiches Tuch. Auf keinen Fall eine Flüssigkeit
verwenden, die könnte in das Gerät laufen und Be ­schädigungen verursachen.

Nebelmaschinen sind aufgrund der dickflüssigen

Nebelflüssigkeit und der hohen Verdampfungstempe­ratur für Verstopfungen anfällig. Darum wird empfoh­len, nach ca. 40 Betriebsstunden eine Reinigungsflüs­sigkeit, bestehend aus 80 % destilliertem Wasser und
20 % Essig, durch das Gerät laufen zu lassen.

1) Den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen und die
Nebelmaschine ausreichend abkühlen lassen.

2) Den Tank vollständig entleeren.

3) Die Reinigungsflüssigkeit in den Tank füllen.

4) Das Gerät in gut durchlüfteter Umgebung mit der
Reinigungsflüssigkeit betreiben. Nach dem Reini­gungsdurchlauf die verbleibende Restflüssigkeit
entleeren.

5) Das Gerät nun wieder mit Nebelflüssigkeit befüllen
und für ca. 3 Minuten Nebel erzeugen, um die Säu­re rückstände aus dem Gerät zu entfernen.

Die im Gerät entstehende Wärme muss durch Luft­zirkulation abgegeben werden. Achten Sie darauf,
dass neben und über dem Gerät ein ausreichender
Freiraum vorhanden ist und die Lüftungsöffnungen
am Gehäuse nicht abgedeckt sind.

Im Betrieb wird die Nebelaustrittsdüse sehr heiß.
Achten Sie darauf, dass sie einen Mindestabstand
von 50 cm zu leicht entflammbaren und hitzeemp­findlichen Materialien hat.

G

Der Nebelstrom ist sehr heiß. Richten Sie das
Gerät so aus, dass der Nebelstrom nicht direkt auf
Personen oder Gegenstände trifft.

WARNUNG Das Gerät muss fachgerecht und sicher

montiert werden. Wird es an einer Stelle
installiert, unter der sich Personen auf­halten können, muss es zusätzlich gesi­chert werden (z. B. durch ein Fangseil
am Bügel; das Fangseil so befestigen,
dass der Fallweg des Geräts nicht mehr
als 20 cm betragen kann).

WARNUNG 1. Die Nebelmaschine darf nur von er -

wachsenen Personen bedient und
nie unbeaufsichtigt betrieben werden.

2. Im Betrieb wird das Gehäuse sehr
heiß. Berühren Sie es nicht.

3. Achten Sie immer darauf, dass ausreichend Nebel­flüssigkeit im Tank ist. Beim Betrieb ohne Nebel­flüssigkeit besteht Brandgefahr durch Überhitzung.
Außerdem kann das Gerät beschädigt werden.

2 Safety Notes

This unit corresponds to all relevant directives of the
EU and is therefore marked with .

Please observe the following items in any case:

The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it
against dripping water and splash water, high air
humidity, and heat (admissible ambient temperature
range 0 – 40°C).

G

Do not place any vessel filled with liquid on the unit,
e. g. a drinking glass.

G

Do not operate the unit and immediately disconnect
the mains plug from the socket

1. if the unit or the mains cable is visibly damaged,

2. if a defect might have occurred after the unit was
dropped or suffered a similar accident,

3. if malfunctions occur.

In any case the unit must be repaired by skilled per­sonnel.

A damaged mains cable must be replaced by skilled
personnel only.

G

Never pull the mains cable for disconnecting the
mains plug from the socket, always seize the plug.

No guarantee claims for the unit and no liability for
any resulting personal damage or material damage
will be accepted if the unit is used for other purposes
than originally intended, if it is not installed in an
expert way, if it is not correctly connected or opera­ted, or if it is not repaired in an expert way.

Important for U. K. Customers!

The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accord ­ance with the following code:
green/yellow = earth
blue = neutral
brown = live

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug, pro­ceed as follows:

1. The wire which is coloured green and yellow must
be connected to the terminal in the plug which is
marked with the letter E or by the earth symbol ,
or coloured green or green and yellow.

2. The wire which is coloured blue must be con­nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.

3. The wire which is coloured brown must be con­nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.

Warning – This appliance must be earthed.

3 Applications

By vaporizing a fog fluid, the fog machine will create
artificial fog which can be used to enhance any light
effects (e. g. on stage or in discotheques).

4 Setting into Operation

Remove the complete packaging material. Make sure
that there are no packing remnants at the fog output
nozzle.

4.1 Filling up Fog Fluid

The following fog fluids are suitable for the unit:

When using other fog fluids, no liability will be accep­ted for correct operation.

The following scents from the product range of IMG
STAGELINE may be added to the fog fluid:

A bottle of scent (contents 25ml) will be sufficient for
5 litres of fog fluid; higher quantities will clog the fog
machine.

WARNING

1. While filling up fog fluid, the unit must
not be connected to the mains.
Always disconnect the mains plug
from the socket before filling up!

2. Never add flammable fluids of any kind to the fog
fluid! Explosion hazard!

3 The unit is not splashproof. If fluid gets inside the

unit, it must be checked and cleaned by skilled
personnel before it is operated.

If the unit is to be put out of operation defini­tively, take it to a local recycling plant for a dis­posal which is not harmful to the environment.

WARNING The unit uses dangerous mains voltage

(230 V~). Leave servicing to skilled per­sonnel only. Never make any modifica­tion on the unit and do not insert any­thing into the air vents; otherwise you
will risk an electric shock!

1) Unscrew the tank cap (5).

2) Fill up the tank with fog fluid: Fill up the tank up to

1

⁄4
as a minimum and do not add more fluid than up to
the upper marking of the window (6). If any fluid is
spilt, wipe it off immediately with a cloth so that it will
not get inside the unit.

3) Tightly close the tank.

4.2 Setting up the Unit

Place the unit on a horizontal surface. It can also be
suspended via its bracket (7) [e. g. on a cross arm via
a mounting clip]. For exact horizontal adjustment of the
unit slightly release the screws (1) on both sides of the
bracket, readjust the position of the unit, then retighten
the screws.

Note: Fog machines will develop condensation around the
fog output nozzle. When selecting a mounting place, take
into account that moisture will accumulate below the nozzle.

4.3 Operation

1) Connect the fog machine via the mains cable (4) to
a mains socket (230 V/50 Hz).

2) Switch on the unit with the POWER switch (2): the
switch will light up. The fog machine will heat up for
approx. 5 minutes. While the unit is heating up, fog
output will not be possible yet.

3) When the button (8) of the remote control lights up,
the unit is sufficiently heated and fog may be emit­ted. For this purpose, keep the button on the remote
control pressed.

The magnet on the rear side of the remote con-

trol may be used to adhere to a magnetic surface.

Note: Due to residual fluid in the fog machine, the unit may
still emit some fog after a fog output or after switching off.

4) After operation, switch off the fog machine with the
POWER switch.

5) Important! Before transporting the unit, it must cool
down and the tank must be completely empty!

5 Cleaning

For cleaning the outside of the unit, only use a dry, soft
cloth; never use any fluid which may get inside the unit
and cause damage.

Due to the viscosity of the fog fluid and the high

vaporizing temperature, fog machines are susceptible
to clogging. After approx. 40 hours of operation, it is
therefore recommended to clean the unit with a fluid
consisting of 80 % distilled water and 20 % vinegar.

1) Disconnect the mains plug and allow the fog
machine to cool down sufficiently.

2) Completely empty the tank.

3) Fill the tank with the cleaning fluid.

4) Operate the unit with the cleaning fluid in a suffi­ciently ventilated environment. After the cleaning pro­cedure, make sure to remove any residual fluid.

5) Refill the unit with fog fluid and create fog for
approx. 3 minutes to remove any acid residues from
the unit.

WARNING 1. The fog machine must be operated

by adults only; never leave it unat­tended during operation.

2. The housing will become very hot
during operation. Never touch it.

3. Always make sure that there is sufficient fog fluid
in the tank. When operating the unit without fog
fluid, there will be a fire hazard due to overheating.
Besides, the unit may be damaged.

WARNING Mount the unit safely and expertly. If the

unit is installed at a place where people
may walk or sit under it, additionally
secure it (e. g. by a safety rope at the
bracket; fasten the safety rope in such a
way that, in the event of a fall, the max­imum falling distance of the unit will not
exceed 20 cm).

The heat generated within the unit must be dissi­pated by air circulation. Make sure that sufficient
space is provided next to and above the unit and
that the air vents of the housing are not covered.

During operation the fog output nozzle will become
very hot. Always ensure a minimum distance of
50 cm to easily flammable material or material sen­sitive to heat.

G

The fog stream becomes very hot. Never direct the
fog stream at persons or objects.
