1. MW345 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
1.1 The MW345 is a stereo speaker system supporting Bluetooth and a line-in source. When paired
with a mobile phone, the MW345 may function as a speakerphone. It is also portable when powered by batteries.
2. FACTORY SETTINGS
2.1 Source selection will be set to Bluetooth in ‘discoverable’ mode.
3. POWER ON/OFF:
3.1 Click to toggle on and off. LED illuminates the power icon white when on.
3.2 The device will power-up into whichever source mode it was powered down.
4. SLEEP MODE
4.1 After 20 minutes of detecting no line-in or audio streaming signal from a Bluetooth connection,
the MW345 powers down. Bluetooth signal is disconnected.
4.2 Press the power button to wake the device from sleep mode.
4.3 MW345 will attempt to reconnect to last BT device when awoken from sleep mode.
4.4 If awoken by line-in source, BT connection will attempt to reconnect to last device.

5. VOLUME
5.1 Click [+] to increase volume level, [-] to decrease volume level. Holding [+/-] down for 1+ seconds activates rapid
increase or decrease of volume level. An audible indicator will notify user when maximum and minimum volumes
are reached. Rapid increase/decrease should be 7 seconds between lowest and highest volumes.
6. LINE IN SOURCE
6.1 Line-in source becomes active when it detects a live input to the line-in jack.
7. BLUETOOTH
7.1 Click to enter BT mode.
7.2 When in BT mode, the BT icon will illuminate blue continually, if connected to a BT device.
8. FIRST CONNECTION
8.1 To pair with a device for the rst time, press the ‘Bluetooth’ button on MW345. The speaker will enter pairing
mode and become visible to compatible Bluetooth devices. The product will beep once indicating that you have now
entered ‘discoverable’ mode.

8.2 Bluetooth LED will blink slowly, approximately 2-3 times per second in this mode and the Device will stay in
‘discoverable’ for 2 minutes or until successfully paired and connected.
8.3 The speaker will appear as “Memorex MW345” to compatible devices.
8.4 After successfully pairing and/or when in BT mode, the product should beep once and the BT icon will illuminate
blue continually. If the pair is not successful, the BT icon will revert to the slow blink rate and produce a ‘failed’ beep.
8.5 Bluetooth connection will not terminate when switching between Bluetooth and Line-In sources.
8.6 MW345 will send “pause” signal to streaming devices when moving from BT to line-in mode.
9. RETURNING CONNECTIONS
9.1 When powered on and in Bluetooth source mode, MW345 will automatically connect to the most recently paired
device if it is available.
10. SPEAKERPHONE
10.1 INCOMING CALLS
10.1.1 When paired and connected with a mobile phone which is receiving an incoming call, MW345 will emit
a default, pre-set ringtone.
10.1.2 To answer the call through the MW345, press the ‘answer’ button on MW345. Audio and microphone
functions will be executed by MW345.
10.1.3 To answer a call privately on your phone, while connected to MW345, press the ‘answer button’ on your
smartphone.

10. SPEAKERPHONE continued
10.2 OUTGOING CALLS
10.2.1 Press the ‘call/answer/end’ button twice to automatically dial the last called number on your
smartphone.
10.3 CURRENT CALLS
10.3.1 Press ‘call/answer/end’ button once during a phone call to activate or deactivate
speakerphone function.
10.3.2 To end a call, press ‘call/answer/end’ button twice.
11. USB CHARGING
11.1 The product shall have a Micro USB connector capable of providing 1A of charging current.
11.2 Rechargeable NiMH Batteries will be charged through USB connector.
