FCC Part 68-Telecomunication Devices
This equipmen t compl ies with P art 68 of the FCC rules . On the re ar panel of this equipm ent is a label that contains, among othe r info rmation, the FCC regi s tratio n number and Ringer Equi v alen ce Number (REN) for this equipment. If requested, provide this information to your telephone company.
This equipment uses THE FOL LOWING USOC JACKS: RJ11C.
The REN is useful to determine the quantity of devices you may connect to your telephone line and still have all of those dev ices ring when your number is called. In most, but not all areas, the sum of the RENs of all devices should not exceed five (5.0). To be certain of the number of devices you may connect to your line, as determined by the REN, you should call your local telephone company to determine the maximum REN for your calling area.
If your telephone equipm ent causes harm to the telephone network, the Telephone Company may discontinue your service temporarily. If possible, they will notify yo u in advance. But if advance notice isn’t practical , you w il l b e notifi e d as soon as possible. You will be advised of your right to file a complaint with the FCC.
Your telephone company may make changes to its facilities, equipment, operations, or procedures that could affect the proper operation of your equipment. If they do, you will be given advance notice s o as to give you an opportunity to ma i nt ain uninte rru p t e d ser vice.
If you experience trouble with this equipment, please contact: Imagistics International Inc. 100 Oakview Drive Trumbull, Connecticut 06611 Phone: 1-(800) 243-5556
The telephone company may ask you to disconnect this equipment from the network until the problem has been corrected or you are sure that the equipment is not malfunctioning.
This equipmen t may not be used on coin s ervic e pro vided by the t eleph one com pany. Conne ction t o par ty lines is subject to state t a riffs. (Co ntact your state public utility commission or corporation commission for information.)
CUSTOMER INFORMATION FOR PRIVATELY O WNED COIN PHONES
To comply with state tariffs, the telephone company must be given notification prior to connection. In some states, pr ior approval of connection must be obtained from the state Public Utility Commission,
Public Service Commission or state Corporation Commission.
Warning for the Setting of H eader and Footer
The Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991 makes it unlawful for any person to use a computer or other electronic device to send any message via a telephone fax machine unless such message clearl y contains in a mar gin at the top or bott om of each transmit ted page or on th e firs t page of the transmiss ion, the date and time it is sent and an identification of the business or other entity, or other individual sending the message and the telephone number of the sending machine or such business, other entity, or individual.
In order to program this information into your fax machine, you should complete the following steps.

Laser Sa fe ty
This is a digital machine which operates by means of a laser. There is no possibility of danger from the laser, provided the machine is operated according to the instructions in this manual.
Since radiation emitted by the laser is completely confined within protective housing, the laser beam cannot escape from the machine during any phase of user operation.
This machine is certified as a Class 1 laser product. This means the machine does not produce hazardous laser radiation.
Internal Laser Radiation
Maximum Average Radiant Power: 19.5 µW (DF200/DF270) / 27.8 µW (DF370) at the laser aperture of the print head unit.
Wavelength: 770-795 nm (DF200/DF270)
775-795 nm (DF370)
This product employs a Class 3b laser diode that emits an invisible laser beam. The l aser di ode and the scanning polygon mirror are incorporated in the print head unit. The print head unit is NOT A FIELD SERVICE ITEM. Therefore, the print head unit should n ot be opened under any circumstances.
