Description/Illustrations
When equipped with a Printer Controller (PCL Printer Port), your fax machine can also
be made available as a printer to network users by connecting it to the network through
a print server PC. In this arrangement, the 5000/3500 with a Printer Port is connected
to the print server PC with a bi-directional parallel cable. The print server PC is
connected to the network through a network interface card inside the PC.
In this environment the server must be on, operating and logged onto the network for
the 5000/3500 fax to be available for use as a printer. Arranging and programming to
make this printer available on the network is the responsibility of the Network
Administrator.
