Time for a change with PURE TEMPUS-1XT, a bedside radio with
sophisticated style and features. TEMPUS-1XTtakes the award­winning formula of its predecessor TEMPUS-1 and adds a host of
new features as well as improved audio quality, smoother lines, a
choice of cherry or maple finish, and the latest alarm clock functions.

A sleep timer and programmable alarms enable you to fall asleep
listening to one station and wake up to another (or a simple alarm
tone if you prefer). You can even set three different alarm times
for weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays or weekends. Innovative
SnoozeHandle®technology means that when the alarm goes off a
simple touch on TEMPUS-1XT’s handle sets the alarm to snooze or,
at other times, illuminates the full-screen clock for easy night-time
viewing.

Featuring digital optical and analogue outputs for connection to
your hi-fi as a DAB tuner, TEMPUS-1

XT

also has multiple record
timers, enabling you to record your favourite programmes to a
MiniDisc or CD-R recorder.

THREE ALARMS

Three easy to set alarms mean you can have dif ferent alarms for you and your partner,
different alarm settings for Saturday, Sunday, weekdays or weekends, or set a backup
alarm just in case you sleep through the first. Alarms can be set to different stations or to
a simple alarm tone and alarm volume set independently of main radio volume.

One touch SnoozeHandle can be used to change the display, snooze an alarm or illuminate
the full-screen clock for night-time viewing.

SLEEP BUTTON

Sleep button gently fades TEMPUS-1

XT

to silent and then switches off automatically after
15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes. Set an alarm as well and you can fall asleep to one station
and wake up to another.

AUTOMATICALLY SET CLOCK

Clock is automatically updated from a broadcast DAB time signal, so you don’t have to set
it or worry about resetting it when the clocks go forward or back.

RECORD TIMERS

Nine record timers allow you to record your favourite radio shows to a separate recording
device. Set regular daily, weekdays only or weekend only record times so that you never
miss your favourite programmes, or one-off record times for special programmes. For
timed recording you will need a recorder with an optical input that supports sync-record,
such as a MiniDisc or CD-R recorder, or a recorder with a timer of its own.

USB CONNECTOR

USB connector enables you to download software upgrades from an internet­connected PC, enabling TEMPUS-1

XT

to support future updates to the DAB service.
