DAP-601ES

The DAP-601ES advanced digital audio
processor features full support for PCM
Stereo, DTS (Digital Theater Systems),
Dolby Digital 5.1 formats and the latest
Dolby Pro Logic II (5.1), plus a full range
of EQ and DSP effects. All settings are easily
accessible via the remote control, and can
be stored as presets, enabling you to choose
different listening modes for movies, music
or TV at the touch of a button. A full range
of bass steering options is provided and an
intuitive visual indicator on the front panel
shows the selected mode.

MCP-601ES

The MCP-601ES dedicated slimline amplifier
provides five discrete channels of low-noise
distortion-free amplification. A low-noise
toroidal transformer and distributed power
supply architecture allow high levels of
simultaneous drive, so there’s plenty of
performance to spare.

SAT 4

The SAT 4 speaker set comprises five
D’Appolito satellites each with two custom­made 4" Audax high definition aerogel drive
units and the latest 20 mm textile dome
Audax tweeter with neodymium magnets
and ferrofluid cooling, to give pure, clean
sound, with excellent high frequency response
and detailed mid-range. The speakers are
manufactured in solid MDF and are finished
in real maple veneer or stylish studio black.

SUB 10

The powerful SUB 10 subwoofer features a
10" ultra-long-throw drive unit with high power
voice coil, giving full deep bass response. The
integrated sub amplifier is rated at 250W
RMS and has low and high level inputs as well
as controls for level, cut-off and continuously
variable phase control. All components are
built into a heavy-duty satin black MDF cabinet.

Input connectors: S/PDIF coaxial for digital input; S/PDIF optical (Toslink)
for digital input; 3 stereo phono inputs (TV, VCR and AUX).
Output connectors: 3 pairs of phono jacks for analog audio out: Front L,
R channels; surround L, R (rear channels); and centre & subwoofer channel.
Power supply: 230V AC 50 Hz (UK/Europe) via IEC320 connector.

MCP-601ES

5 discrete channel power amplifier, with distributed power supply architecture.
SpiKe (Self Peak Instantaneous temperature ºKE) circuitry for protection
against overvoltage, undervoltage, overloads (including shorts to the
supplies), thermal runaway and instantaneous temperature peaks.
Power supply unit: Custom-made, dual rail, high-power toroidal
transformer. Separate rectification and smoothing for front channels
versus centre and rear channels. Massive banks of smoothing
capacitance to ensure stable high-power performance.

Frequency response: <10 Hz to >100 kHz.
Harmonic distortion: Less than 0.01% at 1 kHz (nominal output).
Input sensitivity: 775 mV RMS, to give maximum output just below

clipping point.
Power output: Continuous rated output for single channel 55W; for
5 channel simultaneous 45W.

Controls: Power on/off.
Input connectors: Gold-plated phono inputs (FL, FR, C, SL, SR).
Output connectors: 4mm touch-proof terminals for connection

to speakers. 2 phono for sub loopthrough.
