ALL THE BENEFITS OF DAB

The DAB transmission standard provides high-quality digital audio without the hiss, crackle
and fade of AM/FM broadcasts. One touch autotune locates all available DAB stations.
Select stations by name and list them alphabetically or in the order you listen to them
most. Scrolling text shows additional data such as song titles, artists’ names, programme
descriptions, news headlines and more.

WIDE VARIETY AND CHOICE OF STATIONS

In some areas as many as 55 DAB digital radio stations are available. UK national radio
services broadcast digitally include BBC Radios 1-4, BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Radio 5 Live
Sports Extra, Classic FM, talkSPORT and Virgin Radio. Popular local stations are also
available, such as Heart, Smooth Digital, Capital Radio as well as unique-to-digital stations
such as BBC 6 Music, BBC 1Xtra, BBC 7, BBC Asian Network, Oneword and Planet Rock.

FOUR ALARMS

Four easy-to-set alarms mean you can have different alarms for you and your partner,
different alarm settings for weekdays or weekends, or set a backup alarm just in case you
sleep through the first. Wake to DAB digital radio or to a simple alarm tone if you prefer.

WHITE-ON-BLUE DISPLAY

Large white-on-blue display is clear and easily visible from a distance. Adjustable
brightness. Clock display in standby mode.

SLEEP AND SNOOZE

Sleep button switches CHRONOS off automatically after 5, 10, 15, up to 60 minutes.
Snooze can also be set from 0-60 minutes.

AUTOMATICALLY SET CLOCK

The CHRONOS clock is automatically updated from the broadcast DAB time signal, so you
don’t have to set it or worry about resetting it when the clocks go forward or back.

HEADPHONE SOCKET

Listen via the quality built-in speaker or connect headphones to avoid disturbing your
partner.

reception capability, for reception of all UK DAB
broadcasts. Compliant with ETS 300 401 and
capable of decoding all DAB transmission modes
