. Set camera to “P” Program Auto mode (camera icon).

2. Set ISO to 80.
3. Set camera to Macro Mode (not Super Macro).
4. Set White Balance to “Auto”.
5. Set Flash to “Fill In” (lightning bolt displayed).
6. Set AF Mode to “Spot”.
7. Turn ESP metering off. Set to “Spot”(rectangle with a dot inside).
NNOOTTEESS::
- Camera will focus far away even if Macro Mode is on. It is best
to leave Macro Focus on. You can back away from the subject
and zoom in to avoid over-exposure if necessary.
- Flash does not work in Super-Macro mode.

Turn the camera on before placing it in the housing to make sure
the battery was installed correctly.

Slight edge softness around the picture edges is normal in
some situations with conversion lenses. Vignetting can occur with
the camera in it’s widest angle setting. Zoom in to eliminate.

Olympus Tough 3000, 6020, and 8010 model cameras may require
an EV-Controller resistor update if your strobe is not firing when
connected to the EV-Controller. Your DS strobe can be fired even
when the update is needed by switching the EV-Controller to
non-preflash mode. You can then fire your DS strobe in all manual
power settings EXCEPT full power.
