WIRELESS DIMMER FUNCTIONS

ON/OFF: Rotate fast for 100% Brightness

and OFF.

Dim up/down: Rotate slowly for dimming
up/down.

Pairing: Add IKEA Smart Lighting
products to your system. See
instructions below.

ADDING DEVICES TO YOUR
WIRELESS DIMMER

When the wireless dimmer is sold together
with a light source (in the same package),
they are already paired.
To add light sources, just repeat the steps
below.

1 Make sure that your light source is

installed and the main power switch is
turned on.

2 Hold the wireless dimmer close to the

light source you want to add (no more
than 5 cm away).

3 Press and hold the pairing button

for at least 10 seconds, you can nd

the pairing button under the top cover.
A red light will shine steadily on the
wireless dimmer. Your light source

will begin to dim and ash one time to

indicate that it has been successfully
paired.

Up to 10 light sources can be paired with 1
wireless dimmer.
Make sure to pair them one at a time. If
the light sources are close to each other,
disconnect those that have already been
paired from the main power switch.

REMOVING DEVICES FROM
YOUR WIRELESS DIMMER

1 Make sure the main power switch is

turned on for the light source you want
to un-pair from your TR ÅDFRI wireless
di mmer.

2 Hold the wireless dimmer close to the

light source you want to remove (no
more than 5 cm away).

3 Press and hold the pairing button

for at least 10 seconds, you can nd

the pairing button under the top cover.
A red light will shine steadily on the
wireless dimmer. Your light source will

begin to dim and ash twice to indicate

that it has been successfully un-paired.

FACTORY RESET YOUR DEVICES
For light sources:

Toggle the main switch 6 times.

For wireless dimmer:

Press the pairing button 4 times within
5 seconds.

SYNCHRONIZING

If your light source becomes
unsynchronized in brightness, dim up until
they all have reached 100% brightness.
If lights sources are unresponsive, press
the pairing button one time.

CHANGING THE BATTERY

When the wireless dimmer is used
regularly and as intended, the battery will
last for approximately 2 years.
When it’s time to replace the battery,

a red LED indicator will ash when you

rotate the wireless dimmer.
Open the top cover, remove the core and
replace the battery with a new CR2032
ba t tery.

CAUTION!

Risk of explosion if battery is replaced
by an incorrect type. Dispose of used
batteries according to the instructions.

IMPORTANT!

The wireless dimmer is for indoor use only
and can be used in temperatures ranging
from 0ºC to 40 ºC.
Do not leave the wireless dimmer in direct
sunlight or near any heat source, as it may
overheat.

Do not subject the wireless dimmer
to wet, moist or excessively dusty
environments as this may cause damage.
The range between the wireless dimmer
and the receiver are measured in open air.
Different building materials and placement
of the units can affect the wireless
connectivity range.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To clean the wireless dimmer, wipe with
a soft cloth moistened with a little mild
detergent. Use another soft, dry cloth to
wipe dry.

NOTE!

Never use abrasive cleaners or chemical
solvents as this can damage the product.
