Phones inside the minimum and maximum sizes should fit inside the
clamp. Please ensure the phone is securely in place before use.

Quick Set Up

Step 1

Before first use pair the selfie stick and your phone. See instructions for
further details.

Step 2

Put the phone in the clamp. You can adjust it to fit your phone*.

Step 3

Screw the clamp onto the Selfie Stick*. Ensure phone is secure. Do not
over-tighten screw.

Step 4

Open the camera application on your phone.

Step 5

Extend the selfie stick to the desired length.

Step 6

Focus on yourself and press the ‘Take picture’ button

*Please ensure your phone and the clamp are securely in position before
using.

Charging the battery

iGadgitzBSS2 comes with a built-in rechargeable battery. Prior to using it for
the first time, it is recommended to charge the battery fully.

The LED light flashes slowly when iGadgitzBSS2 is low in power. Please

recharge the battery as soon as possible.

1. Twist off the charger port cover

2. Plug USB cable into a PC/Laptop USB port or suitable 5.0V USB power
charger

- Red light on: Charging

- Red light off: Finished charging

3. It takes around 1 hour to fully charge. Do not charge for longer than 1.5
hours or battery life will be damaged.

IMPORTANT WARNING:

Do not connect to a PC or USB charger if damp or wet. Danger of electrocution.
If becomes very hot during charging or emits smoke/vapour; switch off at the plug
socket, disconnect, do not use and contact your retailer.

Please Note: The battery is recyclable.

Batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) should not be exposed to excessive
heat, fire, water or high voltage equipment.
Do not excessively shake or move when in use.

Pairing

The general pairing procedures are as follows, however, you may need to refer to your

Bluetooth device’s manual on how to pair with a Bluetooth device.

1) Keep your Bluetooth enabled device within 1 metre when pairing;

2) Press and hold the power switch for 5 seconds. The blue LED will flash continu­ously;

3) Using your Bluetooth device, scan/search for available Bluetooth devices. Select
“iGadgitzBSS2” from the list of devices shown;

4) If prompted by your device to connect, select “Yes” (this will vary among devices)

5) After successfully connecting, the LED light goes out. It then flashes when an image
is taken.

Please Note:
Pairing mode will last 90 seconds. If no devices can be connected after 90 seconds, it
will return to standby mode automatically.
If pairing fails, please turn off iGadgitzBSS2first and then re-pair according to steps 1
〜5 above.
After pairing is successful, iGadgitzBSS2 and the Bluetooth device will remember each
other and should not need to be re-paired next time. iGadgitzBSS2 can store 4 paired
devices. When the number of paired devices exceeds this, the first one will be
replaced.

Each time iGadgitzBSS2 is turned on, it will connect automatically to last connected
device. If you want to pair it with other devices, please turn off the Bluetooth function
of the last connected device first and pair iGadgitzBSS2 with the new device.
If iGadgitzBSS2 is unused for 5 minutes it will automatically go into sleep mode. It can
be woken quickly by pressing the Shoot button and waiting 5 seconds.

Attaching to your phone and using the pole

1. Screw the mobile phone clamp onto the end of the iGadgitzBSS2 Bluetooth
Selfie Stick, ensuring it is securely in place

2. Place the rubber holder on the top of the clamp

3. Place the phone in the Mobile Phone Clamp. Adjust the clamp to ensure the

phone is securely in place. The clamp can be adjusted for the height and width

of your phone.

4. Extend the pole by holding just below the base of the clamp and pulling. To

retract the pole push it back towards the handle.

Capturing images

Finally open your camera app and press the shoot button on the iGadgitzBSS2
to take images. In the camera’s video mode, pressing the shoot button begins
a video and pressing again stops it.
Use the zoom in and zoom out buttons to adjust the focal length of the image.

Switching off

To switch off press and hold the power button for 5 seconds. The blue LED

flashes three times then goes out.

Troubleshooting Important Notes

Should the Selfie Stick fail to activate after pairing, turn off your Selfie Stick

and Bluetooth on your Phone. Then switch on the Selfie stick and wait

approx. 10 seconds before then switching your phone’s Bluetooth back on.

Then reconnect in your Bluetooth settings.

If your Selfie Stick has not activated after an operating system update try
removing the Selfie Stick from your list of devices and pairing again.

If your Selfie Stick fails to activate after pairing on your first use, try
removing the Selfie Stick from your list of devices and pairing again.

If your Selfie Stick fails to turn on try charging it (see ‘Charging the Battery’).

Zoom not working?

To avoid electronic interference and/or compatible conflicts, TURN OFF the

product in any facilities where posted notices instruct you to do so. For
example: Aircraft, Military Base, Hospital or Health Care Facilities.
Keep away from fire, water, and high voltage equipment.
Dot not install, place or use the device near any source of heat such as a
cooker, radiator, oven, toaster, coffee maker or other apparatus (including
microwave ovens) that gives off heat.
It is recommended to keep the environment temperature between 15°C &
25°C
Do not use chemicals or detergents to clean the product.
