1.1 Overview

The ITCS-100-H81 is a fanless embedded system for wide range temperature
environments. It accepts an Intel® 4t h generation i5, Pentium® or Celeron® processor
and supports one 204-pin DDR3 SO-DIMM up to 8GB (4GB pre-install).The
ITCS-100-H81 embedded system is with one VGA port and one DVI-D port for dual
display. The ITCS-100-H81 supports two 3.5” SATA HDD w ith up to 6 Gb/s data transf er
rate. Four RS-232 serial ports via DB-78, four RS-232/422/485 s er ial ports v ia DB -78 and
four external USB 2.0 ports ensure simplified connectivity to a variety of external
peripheral devices.

2.1 Unpacking

To unpack the embedded system, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Use box cutters, a knife or a sharp pair of scissors that seals the top side of the

external (second) box.

Step 2: Open the external (second) box.

Step 3: Use box cutters, a knife or a sharp pair of scissors that seals the top side of the

internal (first) box.

Step 4: Lift the system out of the boxes.

Step 5: Remove both polystyrene ends, one from each side.

Step 6: Make sure all the components listed in the packing list are present.
