Each side of the LC-7S is equipped with a slide rail or a slide slot guide to allow multiple chargers to be neatly connected
together to form charging banks. To connect chargers together insert the slide rail of one charger into the slide guide of another
and slide into place keeping both chargers straight at all times. For separation follow the same procedure in reverse.

Slide Rail for
connection
Be sure chargers are always separated before moving. Any load on the connection parts may cause damage.
Instructions
①First connect the AC Cable to the AC Adaptor. Release the main body lock using Open/Close Slide locks to keep the rear cover
open and then connect DC Cable plug to the DC Plug inlet. Set the AC Adaptor to either Built-in or External (refer the previous
section) and close the rear cover, confirm the main body is firmly locked at the Open/Close Slide Locks. Then connect power
plug to the AC Socket.
②After confirming the AC & DC Cables are correctly connected turn the power on. When the power is ON, the Power LED
lights and the display will show the empty battery mark indicating a battery is not connected.
※When the above condition does not happen even when power is turned on, check that the AC and DC Cables are fully inserted and correctly connected.
③Align the battery in the direction of the charge pins and insert the battery downwards along the slide guides so that the battery
and charger terminals meet and the battery locks firmly in position. When the battery and the LC-7S are correctly connected,
charging starts and the LCD display will show the corresponding charge status.
④ When the charge is complete remove the battery by sliding the battery upwards and in a straight direction along the slide
guides, during this operation be sure to hold both the battery and LC-7S firmly.

Built In
(A) How to use the DC Cable when using the external fitting option.
★The DC Cable can be fed into the charger body from either the right or left side. ★Store cables by using the hooks at a・b・c and wrapping the cable around.
★Make sure that DC Plug remains inserted firmly into the connector end.
As shown in above (B)illustration, the AC Adaptor can be fitted internally with the AC Cable taken out of either the left

( [Left] on above (B) illustration,) the AC Adaptor must be inserted in such a way that the DC Cable is at the top otherwise
it will interfere with the fan housing. If it interferes simply turn the AC Adaptor around so that the DC Cable is at the top.

General Notes and Safety
Do not attempt to open or modify this unit. All work should be carried out by IDX authorised service personnel only.
Use only with compatible batteries listed in this manual. Charging non-compatible batteries may cause fire, electrical shock or other incidents.
When connecting a battery be sure to insert the battery into the battery socket or connector firmly.
When in use do not place anything on the charger and do not block ventilation holes. Use in a well ventilated area.
Do not expose to, use or place the unit in direct sunlight, extreme dust, water or other hazardous environments.
During charging the temperature of the charger will rise, this is normal and not a malfunction.
A short between the plus (+) and minus (-) charge pins may cause fire, electrical shock or other incidents. Make sure that the charge connector
does not touch any metal parts when a battery is not connected.
Stop charging immediately if the charging does not complete within the designated time. In case of abnormal smell, leak, colour change or
case deformity during use turn the power off and unplug the cable from the socket to avoid possible injury.
Only use the AC Cable and/or Adaptor included with the charger or ones specified. If fused confirm the fuse rating capacity before use.
For continued protection replace any fuses with specified type and rating.
This unit contains no user serviceable parts.
