LS1401 Light Sensor
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Audacy LS1401 Light Sensor is a battery
powered device specially designed to detect
ambient light levels and wirelessly transmit
this information to the Audacy Gateway.
The information provided by the sensor is
used to determine the amount of artificial
light needed in given space. This provides
for daylight harvesting and reduction of
energy consumption. The product has a 25year battery life design and will not require
AC or DC line power, providing building
owners and occupants placement flexibility.

LS1401 Light Sensor
SET-UP AND OPERATION
1. Wall-mount the LS1401 cradle in the desired location with the optional mounting
screws(2). Cradle can be mounted directly to drywall.
2. Press the button located on the bottom side of the Light Sensor LS1401 to activate
device.
3. An optional screw can be used to lock the Smart Switch in the cradle.
