1.3 Alarm Setup
Note:
It is only supported by some series product s.
Alarm input, output descr i pt ion:
Step 1 Connect alarm input device t o t he alarm input of I/O cable.
Step 2 Connect alarm output device to the alarm output of I/O cable, al arm output is collector open
circuit output which connects 10K resistor to 3.3V externally.
Step 3 Open the Web, set alarm input and output correspo ndi ngly. Alarm input on WEB
corresponds to I/O cable on dev ice. When there is alarm, alarm input device will generate
signal of high and low level. Set cor r esponding NO and NC input s.
Step 4 Set the WEB alarm output. The alarm output is for the alar m output port of the device. It is the
alarm output port of the I/O cable.
Please refer to the following f igure for alarm input informat ion. See Figure 1-4.
Alarm input: When the input signal is idle or grounded, t he device can collect the different statuses of
the alarm input port. When the input signal is connected to 3.3V or it is idle, the device collects t he
logic “1”. When the input sign al is gr ounded, the device collects t he log ic “ 0” .
Figure 1-4
Please refer to the following f igure for alarm output infor mation. See Figure1-5
When alarm output is OC, it needs t o in c rease pull-up resistance externally to work normally; output
signal is high and low level. After ext ernal pull-up resistance is increased, the default of output signal is
high level, and it switches to low lev el w hen there is alarm output.
The working current of alar m output port is recommended as <= 10mA. The max current which is used
to drive external circuit is 80mA, it is advised to add a relay if it is beyond the value.

Important
Before the installation, please make sure the inst al l at i on surface can at least support 3x weight
of the camera and the br acket .
Please follow the steps lis t ed bel ow to install the device. Please ref er t o Fig ure 2-1 and Figure 2-2 for
reference.
Step 1
Use inner hex wrench in the accessories bag to open dome en closure by unfastening thr ee i nner hex
screws on enclosure.
Step 2
Please take the installation position map in the accessor ies bag, and then paste it on t he cei li ng or the
wall according t o your monitor area require ments.
Step 3
Find cross signs on the map, and dig three plastic expansion bolts holes in the insta ll at ion surface and
then insert three expans ion bolts in the holes. Secure t hese three bolts firmly.
Note:
If users pull out cable from top of installation surface, y ou must dig an exit hole on installati on
surface according to the inst al lat i on position map.
Page 10
5
If users pull out cable from side of cable channel, it must go through the U-shape ch annel on
dome pedestal, and take out c able from the side exit hole on p edestal.
Step 4
Adjust the device installation pedestal to the proper position and then pull cable t hr ough t he exit hole
on Installation surface. M ake direction of TOP sign sam e as it on installation positi on map. Line up the
three screw holes in the device pedestal to the three plastic expansion bolt holes in the installation
position. Put the three self -tapping screws in the three plastic expansion bolts firmly. Fix d ome body on
installation surface.
Step 5
Hold the rotation bracket on both sides, turn the rotation bra cket horizontally, adjust the lens direction
horizontally to the targeted pos ition; unscrew the two hand s cr ew s on t he both sides of the rotation
bracket (do not remove them c ompletely, just make them loo se) , hold the camera module to ma ke t he
lens rotate vertically, adjust the vertical direction of lens monitoring image to a proper monitoring angle,
then tighten the fixed scre ws on the decoration cover. Range of adjusting lens angle: v er t i cal (0°~
+75°), horizontal (0°~+355°).
Note:
Pay attention to the image r ot at ion direction when it turns to 64° vertically, try to avoid the outer cover
blocking the IR light and influencing IR effect.

Note:
Long press the “Reset” bu t t on shown in Figure 2-3 for 10 seco nds when the device is power on i f
the device needs to be restored to factory setting.
If the device needs to use WPS func t i on, s hor t pr ess “Reset” button shown i n Fig ur e 2-3 for 1~2
seconds when the device is pow er on, press the WPS button o f the r out er , generally the device
can be connected to the corr esponding router within 1 minut e ( only supported by some models).
Step 6
Take up the dome enclosure, put it back on the camera properly regarding to screw and hole, and
fasten the three inner hex screws with wrench. So far the installation is completed.
2.2 Micro SD Card Installati on
Note:
Some series products do not support the Micro SD card stor age function, which can’t be applied to the
following chapter.
Please shut down the power and t hen t ur n off the device before you install the Micro SD card.
Step 1 Find the Micro SD Card slot in figure 2-5, open the Micro SD Card slot according to the
direction shown in figure 2-6.
Step 2 Adjust the Micro SD Card to proper direct ion and install it in the Micro SD card sl ot .
Step 3 According to the direc t ion shown in figure 2-6, close the Micro SD card slot and keep it locked.
Figure 2-5 Micro SD Card installation illustrat ion 1
Step 1
Loosen the adjustment screw C slightly, and then move the threaded rod of adjustment screw C
slightly to make it swing, adjust the lens focal length to the needed position according to the im age
display.
Step 2
Loosen the adjustment screw D slightly, and then move the threaded rod of adjustment screw D
slightly to make it swing, make the lens focus clear according to the image display, then tighten the
adjusting screw D.
Step 3
The image may become blurry during the process of tightening adjusting screw D, adjust the image
slightly via moving adjusting screw C, then adjust the image to become clear and finally tighten the
screw C.
Note:
The dome housing is related to device waterproof function, be sure to screw it firmly after
adjustment
Motorized Vari-focal lens is default in motorized Vari-foca l series, no need to adjust manually.

3 Network Configuration
The IP address of all the cameras i s the same when leaving fac t or y (default IP192.168.1.108), in order
to make the camera get access t o the network smoothly, please plan the useable IP segment
reasonably according to t he act ual network environment.
3.1 Modify IP Address
IP address can be acquired and modified through quick configu ration tool for the camer as which are
accessed via wired network, it needs to connect wired network to configure wireless parameters
before using wireless network cameras. In this chapter, it will introduce the approach of modifying IP
address via “Quick Configuration Tool”; also you can modify the IP address in the network parameters
of the WEB interface, please refer to the document in the disk << WEB Operation Manual>> for more
details.
Note:
Currently the quick configuration tool only supports the cameras which apply to the same network
segment with computer I P addr ess.
Step 1 Double click the “ConfigTools.exe” and open t he quick configuration tool.
Step 2 Double click the device to be configured, the system will pop out the “Login” dialog box. Enter
the IP address, user name, password and por t number of the camera, and c l i c k “Confirm”.
Note:
The default user name and password are admin and admin respectively, the default of port is
37777. See Figure 3-1 for more details.
