Troubleshooting
Possible Solution
● Press the transmit button.
● Make sure that the remote control is
aimed at the air conditioner when
transmitting commands.
● Check electrical connection.
● Check outlet by connecting another
appliance.
● Reset interrupter.
● Call service personnel.
1. Remove and clean filters.
2. Hold down the Operation (I)
pushbutton for five (5) seconds.
● Lower the desired temperature setting.
● Raise the desired temperature setting.
● Hold down the Operation (I)
pushbutton for five (5) seconds.
● Place the remote control where it has a
direct line of sight to the air conditioner.
● This is normal operation. There is no
need for any corrective action.
● Hold down the Operation (I)
pushbutton for five (5) seconds.
● Restart the air conditioner. If the
problem persists, call service
personnel.
● Replace the batteries.
● Operate the air conditioners with the
Operation (I) control (button/switch).

Problem
Air conditioner does not work.
POWER LED is not lit.
FILTER LED is lit.
Air conditioner is working, but
does not perform the required
operation.
Operation LED C is constantly lit.
Operation LED C is flashing.
Various indicator LEDs behave
differently from what appears on
page 18.
Air conditioner does not operate
with the remote control.
The remote control of another air
conditioner interferes with your
air conditioner’s operation.
Possible Causes
● No command was transmitted to the air
conditioner.
● Air conditioner did not receive a transmitted
command.
● Air conditioner is not properly plugged in.
● Electrical outlet is defective.
● Automatic interrupter switched Off.
● Fuse burned out.
● Filters require cleaning.
● Desired temperature setting is higher than
room air temperature when operating in the
COOLING mode.
● Desired temperature setting is lower than
room air temperature when operating in the
HEATING mode.
● The control system is malfunctioning.
● There is no direct line of sight between the
remote control and the air conditioner.
● The air conditioner reached the desired
temperature and the compressor was
automatically shut off by the thermostat.
● Incorrect operation or malfunction.
● The batteries are low.
● The remote control is malfunctioning.
● Both remote controls are transmitting on the
same frequency.
The air conditioner has been designed for outstanding reliability and requires very little maintenance. However, smooth
operation could be disrupted by a malfunction in the electrical system or incorrect operation. You can try to solve the problems
caused by simple malfunctions by referring to the table below . If the malfunction persists, call a qualified service technician.
