IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE ICONE BICYCLE
The addition of inappropriate accessories or components can cause damage to the scooter and compromise the safety of its operation. This can give rise to dangerous driving situations, falls, and accidents.
Never add equipment to your scooter yourself and never try to modify it yourself.
ACCESSORIES
Always choose accessories and components for modications together with a specialist dealer who has received specic training.
With regards to the accessories and the extra weight involved, always take into account the maximum weight allowed by the scooter. The following accessories can be requested:

1. CHECKS BEFORE THE FIRST EXCURSION
PRECAUTIONS:
1. Do not use the product without carefully reading the instruction manual and understanding how the electric scooter performs. Never lend the product to anyone who does not know how to handle it.
2. Please respect the local traffic rules. Since the product is not a motor vehicle, it cannot circulate on the motor vehicle lane.
3. The electric scooter is designed to be used by one person. It is forbidden to carry more than one person or objects at a time.
4. Check whether the folding mechanisms of the vertical handlebars, the crossbars, and the front fork of the scooter are securely l ocked by the respective locking devices before using it. Check that the brakes works properly.
5. It is forbidden to drive the scooter on bumpy roads (such as dirt roads and cobbled streets), snow-covered roads, flooded roads, and other wet or slippery roads. It is also forbidden to ride on roads with a slope of more than 10%.
6. Operate exactly according to the steps described in this manual when folding the scooter.
7. Children under the age of 15 and persons over the age of 60 are prohibited from learning to drive or driving the scooter. Any unaccompanied minor is also forbidden to use the scooter.
8. Anyone with limited action or response ability under the influence of drugs or alcohol is forbidden to drive the scooter.
9. Anyone who is not able to drive the scooter because of his/her own reasons or due to other objective factors is forbidden to drive the scooter.
10. The cyclist must practice driving the scooter in an unobstructed place before the first ride.
11. The scooter can be used in environments with a temperature of -20 ° C ~ 60 ° C, beyond which, the scooter may be damaged. Do not expose the product to high or low temperatures, or place it outside for a long time.
12. It is forbidden to drive the scooter after its electricity is completely consumed.
13. Do not drive the bike continuously on an ascending gradient of 5% above 1000 meters. Do not drive non-stop on a 10% gradient up and down over 300 meters.
1.1 DRIVING
PRECAUTIONS FOR A SECURE RIDE:
1. Drive the scooter in a responsible manner to ensure your own and others’ safety.
2. 5. OPENING OF THE SCOOTER
5.1 OPENING OF THE SCOOTER
PRECAUTIONS:
1. All scooter locking mechanisms must be checked to ensure reliable attachment before driving. Do not drive the scooter if one of the locking mechanisms is found to abnormal or unsecure, as this may cause injury.
2. The scooter must be folded exactly according to the operating steps described here; failure to follow instructions carefully may prevent the scooter from being able to bend.
3. Children, the elderly, and people who are weak in physical strength or out of shape should not bend or open the product as this may result in injury.
4. Care should be taken to avoid pinching your hands during folding and opening operations.
OPENING AND CLOSING THE SCOOTER:
1. Lift the scooter and rotate the 90 ° release lever to release the front fork and rear body.
2. Open the rear body and the front fork in turn.

WARNING! Be sure to check that the front fork is securely locked and the locking mechanism is in position so as to avoid dangers while riding.
4. Unlock the vertical handlebar and firmly fix the block to be inserted, then open the vertical handlebar.

8. Fold the rear body assembly. Fold the rear assembly forward around its own axis until it is pressed close to the front fork. Use the front fork locking handle to lock the rear body.

PARKING: Raise the seat and fold the rear body forward until the pedals rest. Then fold the seat forward to securely park.
RETRACTABLE BAR: Position the body in a vertical position, with the side with the wheels on the ground. Pull out the retractable bar to drag the scooter. Then fold the seat forward to park.
7. USING CORRECT KEY COMPONENTS
BATTERY: 1. The battery is installed inside the seat, equipped with a (removable) charging interface, so it can be recharged with a dedicated charger.
2. Installation and removal of the battery. Loosen the 4 screws tightened by hand and hold the top of the battery to remove it. After removing the battery, disconnect the plug wires to complete the removal.
WARNING! The battery should no longer be used if one of the following conditions occurs: A. It is damaged. B. Odor or release of heat. C. Any loss from the battery is detected.
PRECAUTIONS: A. Avoid contact with battery leakage.
B. The battery must be kept out of reach of children and pets.
C. A damaged battery or ineffective charging can result from the product not being used, stored and loaded in accordance with the requirements, and are therefore not covered by our guarantee.
D. The battery must not be opened.
E. The electric scooter must be handled in an environment and in conditions that meet the relevant requirements.
7.1 CORRECT USE OF KEY COMPONENTS
ACCELERATOR HANDLE:
Turn the handle clockwise to accelerate the scooter, to release the grip, the scooter will stop due to friction.
BRAKES:
Press the brake button to brake the scooter.
CHARGER:
1. The product is external. Each scooter is equipped with a dedicated lithium ion battery and charger. Never charge the scooter with another charger. If your charger does not work, please contact our after-sales service or go to www.iconeway.com
2. The battery must be charged for 4 hours the first time.
3. The charger is equipped with overload protection. When it is fully charged (100%), the charger will stop charging automatically. After each recharge, the interface on the scooter must be closed with a rubber protection cap to prevent short circuits due to water ingress.
4. The battery must be charged completely to optimize battery performance.
7.2 CORRECT USE OF KEY COMPONENTS
RECHARGE PHASES:
A. The battery can be charged on board and externally, ie; you can, but do not have to, remove the battery from the scooter to charge it. The charging connector must be connected to the scooter or battery interface.
B. Insert the plug of the battery charger into the 220 V household socket. The red indicator on the charger is on, indicating that it is charging.
C. When the battery is fully charged, the green indicator light will turn on. D. Disconnect the plug of the charger power cord from the wall outlet, then the cable connector from the scooter.
PRECAUTIONS:
A. Do not operate the engine while charging.
B. The charger must not be covered during charging and must be kept away from flammable agents.
C. The battery and charger should not be placed on plastic products, clothes and other fuels when charging.
D. Never contact the charging interface with metallic objects.
E. The person other than the professional maintenance technician cannot possibly open the charger; otherwise, it could be damaged.
F. Before installing, removing or servicing the battery, make sure that it has been disconnected from the power supply (the electric scooter may be damaged by electric shock if the operations mentioned above are conducted when the battery is connected to the AC power supply).
8. MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
1. The electric scooter is equipped with 18650 lithium ion battery. It must be charged at least once a month, otherwise, battery life and storage capacity will be reduced.
2. In order to maintain the storage capacity of the scooter, do not allow for the battery be completely consumed before recharging, on a regular basis. A distance that is too short for the scooter after each full charge involves replacing the lithium battery.
3. Check the screws on the front and rear wheels, on the body structure and on the seat regularly to loosen. Squeeze them immediately if they are loose; otherwise, it is possible to run into danger.
4. Do not drive the scooter on rainy days or rinse it with pressurized or tap water. Wetting the electrical components and wires can cause damage.
5. Clean dirt from the scooter, bearings, drive motor, and other components with a dry cloth after each use, in order to keep it clean and dry.

9.1 CORRECT USE OF KEY COMPONENTS
The scooter will not be subject to free repairs in case of damage or malfunction due to any of the following reasons during the warranty period:
1. The scooter is not maintained in accordance with the requirements of the manual.
2. The scooter is damaged after being used in acrobatics or other dangerous stunts.
3. The scooter is disassembled and reassembled without authorization or equipped with components other than those supplied by ICONE, or subject to modifications and adaptations of the wiring without permission.
4. The scooter is damaged due to misuse, overload, traffic accidents, and other accidental bumps.
5. The scooter is damaged due to driving on the road with inadequate conditions.
6. The scooter is used in rental activities or in unauthorized applications.
7. The scooter is damaged due to natural disasters or forces of nature.
8. The components age quickly and break down because the scooter is exposed to high or low temperatures or outdoors.
