Quick Start Guide

Quick installation:
Step 1: Plug the HDMI cable into Player, and plug another end of HDMI cable into
HDMI port of your TV.
Step 2: For remote control, use any of your USB mouse/keyboard/wireless receiver
etc. and connect to the USB port of Player. Step 3: Install your MicroSD/TF Card if you have. Step 4: Use provided AD/DC power adaptor and power cable to apply power to the
Player. Alternatively, if you TV has USB port you may apply power directly
from USB port. Step 5: Turn on TV and set TV input source to the selected HDMI port.
After a moment, you will see main desktop in the screen as follow and you can play.

1. Introduction
1.1. SA-101 Introduction
SA-101 is a product code of IBASE SA-101-N Mini Android Digital Signage Player series. It is an Android system for general applications. It may contain some prebuilt APK for demonstration purpose. For any questions please contact IBASE for support.

2. Power On
Step 1: Plug the HDMI cable into Player, and plug another end of HDMI cable into
HDMI port of your TV.

Player. Step 5: Turn on TV and set TV input source to the selected HDMI port.
After a moment, you will see main desktop in the screen as follow and you can play.
3. Default Function
When the Player is started, system will run default function. Some Players are loaded with standard Android and you can use it as typical Android devices. Then you can skip below and go to section 4.
However, some Players are pre-loaded with demo APK AdPlayer to playback video and picture contents looping endlessly. These media files are pre-loaded of can be loaded/updated.
If the Player does not have media contents pre-loaded, the below screen will show up.
3.1. Update new media files

If you want to update/add media files in function, you need a USB dish or TF card, copy the videos and pictures into USB dish/TF card under folder media, then plug-in USB / insert TF card to SA-101-N Mini Android Digital Signage Player series. The device will detect new media files and update automatically after power up.
After power upsystem will automatically copy media files from USB or TF card. Dont power off device until file copy complete.
For large media files it may take a relatively longer time. After file transfer completed, it starts playback file in the list.

3.2. Exit Function
If you want to exit this AdPlayer function, you can right click the mouse (or
ESC for Keyboard) to have below control window.
Input password and click OK (default password : IBASE)
Then you will exit to below standard Android home screen. After existing to Android home screen, if there is no activity for 60 seconds system will return to AdPlayer automatically.

4. MicroSD/TF Card & USB Disk
You can read/write file in TF Card or USB Disk per following instruction.
Click Menu icon (On Right Line)
Click ES File Explore App
Select Local and find extsd file (TF Card) and udisk0~2 USB Disk

Now you can operate on your own.
5. Wi-Fi/BT Setting
The device can connect to internet through Wi-Fi.
First click settings and Wi-Fi.
Open Wi-Fi, select the access point and input password.

When you see the Wi-Fi icon appearing in the upper right corner, the device is connected to the internet.
6. Update Software
The device software can be updated with below method. Please contact IBASE for new software image. Copy the new software image to a USB disk or TF card and insert to the Player.
Software update process:

Click Setting and select About tablet
Then, Click first one Additional system updates
Select Firmware from your USB disk or TF card

You can now select the software image to be updated. Above for example the update software image is mbd101-ota-20150505-172629.zip.
At last, click Update Firmware. Wait for the upgrade process to complete.
