1 Connect the input jack to your instrument. The circuit is auto-

matically turned on when a plug is inserted.

2 “OUT”, “DRY-OUT” –

The “Out” jack normally carries a dry and delayed signal.
However, if the “Dry Out” jack is used, it outputs only the dry
signal, while the “Out” jack only outputs the delayed signal. In
this way, it is possible to achieve stereo effects.

3 “DELAY TIME” – Turning CW (clockwise) increases de-

lay time.

4 “REPEAT” – Controls the amount of delay signal feed-

back. On slapback delays REPEAT determines the num­ber of repeats. On shorter delays REPEAT varies the
coloration of the sound. Adjustable from no feedback at
full CCW(counter clockwise) to oscillation or infinite re­peat at full CW.

5 “DELAY LEVEL (STEREO OUTPUT)” –

Level control for delay signal. At full CCW position, only the dry
signal is at the output. As the control is turned CW the delay
signal increases. At full CW position, the dry and delay signals
are at equal levels, (1:1).

6 Soft touch FET electronic switch changes EFECT/NOR-

MAL.

7 LED indicator comes on when effect is on. If it is dim or

does not light, replace the battery.

8 “EXT D.C.” – When using external D.C. supply, internal

batteries are switched off.

2 “OUT”, “DRY-OUT” –

Die “Out” Buchse führt normalerweise trockenes und ver­zögertes Signal. Wird aber die “Dry Out” Buchse verwen­det, so kommt aus dieser Buchse nur das trockene Signal,
und aus der “Out” Buchse nur verzögerte Signal. Damit sind
Stereoeffekte zu erzielen.

3 “DELAY TIME” – Die Verzögerung wird größer bei Rechts-

drehung (Uhrzeigersinn) dieser Regler.

4 “REPEAT” – Steuert den Anteil vom verzögertem Signal,

welcher nochmals verzögert (wiederholt) wird.

5 “DELAY LEVEL (Stereo-Ausgang)” –

Lautstärkeregelung für das verzögerte Signal. Ganz nach
links gedreht, gelangt nur das “trockene” (Original-) Signal
zum Ausgang. Beim nach rechts Drehen wird der verzö­gerte Signalanteil starker. Ganz nach rechts gedreht, sind
trockenes und verzögertes Signal gleich laut (1:1).

6 Durch eine leichte Berührung schaltet der FET-Schalter

elektronisch zwischen “Normal” und Effekt.

7 Die LED-Anzeige leuchtet auf, wenn der Effekt eingeschal-

tet ist. Leuchtet sie nur noch schwach, ist die Batterie um­gehend auszuwcchseln.

8 “EXT D.C.” – Sobald ein Netzgerät angeschlossen wird, ist

die Batterie automatisch abgeschaltet.

■ DESCRIPTION

La sortie ‘‘Out’’ fournit simultanément le signal original et le
signal retardé. Mais si l’on utilise la sortie ‘‘Dry Out’’, qui
fournit le signal original, la sortie ‘‘Out’’ ne délivre alors que
le signal retardé. De cette manière, il est possible d’obtenir
un effet stéréo.

3 “DELAY TIME” – Tourner de gauche à droite pour augmen-

ter le retard.

4 “REPEAT” – Contrôle l’importance du signal retardé.

Sur les retards longs : détermine le nombre de répétitions.
Sur les retards courts : fait varier la coloration du son.

5 “DELAY LEVEL (sortie stéréo)” –

Contrôle du niveau du signal retardé.
En sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre (de droite á
gauche)
Le signal droit uniquement est en sortie.
De gauche à droite, le signal ratardé augmente.
A fond, les signaux droits et retardés sont á niveau égal
(1:1)

6 Interrupteur à contact éléctronique.
7 LED-Une LED indique si l’effet est en marche. Si l’on cons-

tate une diminution ou absence de lumière, remplacer la
(les) pile(s).

8 “EXT D.C” – Lorsque vous utilisez une alimentation exté-

rieure, la (les) pile(s) est (sont) coupée(s).

toma de entrada (IN). Desenchufe la clavija de la toma de entrada
cuando no se esté utilizando el aparato, para que la pila dure más
tiempo.

● Cuando el indicador LED empieza a verse tenue, la calidad del
sonido también se deteriorará rápidamente. Cambie inmediata­mente la pila.

● Cuando no se va a utilizar la unidad durante mucho tiempo, quite la
pila para evitar daños por fugas del electrólito.

● Cuando se utiliza un adaptador de corriente alterna, utilice exclusi­vamente los adaptadores IBANEZ AC109, AC309 o AC509 para
evitar daños.

● No quite los tornillos de la parte inferior.

■ はじめに

ディスクリート・エコーは、最もドラマティックな音響効果のひとつです。
簡便性と信頼性に長けるディレイは、かさばるテープや回転盤のユニットに
取って代わりました。AD9 アナログディレイは、プリ＆ディエンファシス
回路の採用により並外れたクリアなディレイ効果を実現しました。ディレイ
タイムコントロールは、ディレイを繰り返す時間、そしてディレイレベルコ
ントロールは、ドライ信号とディレイ信号のまざり具合を調節します。
リピート・コントロールは、ノイズを発することなく、ディレイを繰り返す
回数を調節します。ふたつの出力を装備し、ドライ信号とディレイ信号を
別々に流すことで、ドラマティックな音空間を作り出します。AD9アナログ
ディレイは、プロが選択する品質と特長を備えています。

■INTRODUCCIÓN

El “eco discreto” es uno de los efectos más impresionantes de la
industria musical. Las unidades de cintas y de “discos giratorios” de
gran tamaño han dado paso a la gran conveniencia y fiabilidad de
retardos de estado sólido. El retardo analógico AD9 emplea un
compensor con pre-énfasis y post-énfasis y el retardo que ofrece
es excepcionalmente limpio. El control del delay ajusta el retardo y
el control del nivel del delay permite al artista ajustar la mezcla en­tre las señales seca y con efecto. El control de repetición permite
controlar el número de repeticiones con total control. Dos salidas
separadas permiten sacar las dos señales seca y retardada por
separado y obtener un sonido extraordinario. La calidad y funcio­nes del retardo analógico AD9 lo convierten en la elección del pro­fesional.
