IMPORTANT SAFETY MEASURES
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, basic precautions mentioned below should be followed.
Please read all instructions, guides and hints mentioned in this manual before use. We advice you to save this document in safe place for future reference.
Unpack and remove all packing materials from the box.
When the appliance is used for the rst time, it is normal
for the motor to give off a small amount of smoke and odor.
Do not let the appliance run without food or overload use.
The appliance is with superheat protection system. When the motor runs long-term or overload, the appliance would automatically stop, but it can run after about 1 minute again.
Do not touch the small cutting blades in the base of the
stainless steel lter basket.
Do not use harsh abrasives, caustic cleaner or oven cleaner when cleaning this appliance.
Always make sure the appliance is properly and completely assembled before operating.
Careful supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. Do not let the children use the appliance.
Place the power juicer on a dry level place. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
Please handle the appliance carefully. If the unit is dropped or bumped, it may cause the unit to malfunction.
To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug or motor base in water or other liquid.

Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunction or has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to our service center for examination.
If your AC wall outlet becomes loose, it may get
overheated. Should this happen, consult a qualied
technician.
Always use the food pusher provided in this package to push source into the food chute. Never use hands.
Do not leave your Hyvox Express Juicer unattended when in use. Close supervision is necessary especially when used near children.
Do not allow children to use Express Juicer at any circumstances.
Always operate only when assembled completely. The Express Juicer will not operate if not assembled properly. Always operate on a dry surface. Operating this unit in a wet place may damage and void your warranty.
Always turn the switch to ‘0’ position. Leave the appliance unplugged when not in use or assembling and also after using.
Always remove the power cord from socket if Express Juicer is not in use, is left unattended or before cleaning.

Place juicer tray base on top of main body.
ASSEMBLING INSTRUCTIONS
Place the juicer cover
over the lter base.

of base, slightly press down. Be aware of the small cutting blades
at the base of lter

Raise the safety locking handle up into the vertical position. Locate the locking handle into the two grooveon both sides of the juicer cover.
Slide the food pusher down the feed tube by aligning the groove in the food pusher with the small protrusion on the inside of the top of the feed tube. Place a jug or glass under the spout on the right hand side of the juice extractor.
Place the pulp container into position by tilting the pulp container slightly.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Please follow the instructions below carefully. They contain important juicing instructions and guidelines.
Always make sure the appliance is properly and completely assembled before operating.
Wash the fruit or vegetables before juicing. Most fruit and vegetables such as apples, carrots and cucumbers will not
need to be cut to size as these will t into the feed tube.
Make sure to place a glass or container under the spout while juicing. The pulp container should be put under the pulp spout.
Plug the power cord into a suitable power outlet and turn the power to ‘1’ position.
With the motor running, place food down the feed tube. Using the food pusher, gently guide food down the feed tube.
To extract the maximum mount of juice, always push the food pusher down slowly.
Never use hands or foreign objects to push food down the feed tube or to clear the feed tube. Always use the food pusher provided.
Juice will ow into the glass or container and the separated
pulp will accumulate in the pulp container. Do not allow the
pulp container to overll as this may damage the unit.
Please switch off the appliance when emptying the pulp container.
After juicing, the power should be removed from socket. Running the unit without food may cause damage.

OPERATING STEPS
Please follow the steps below carefully to avoid any malfunction or damage. Express Juicer will last long if taken care of properly.
Step 1 Wash the fruits and vegetables ready for juicing. Cucumbers, carrots, apples, tomatoes and other similar foods do not need
to be cut into pieces as they will t in the food chute. Decide
the order of juicing and lay them out. Peel off fruits like oranges. Refer to Juicing Instructions.
Step 2
Conrm the Hyvox Juicer Express is assembled correctly. Refer to Page x, Assembling instructions. Also conrm that the pulp
container has been installed and a juice jug has been placed under the spout. You may use the jug provided in the box or of your own choice.
Step 3 To make cleaning easy, place a plastic bag in the pulp container to collect the pulp.
Step 4 Plug the power cord onto your power socket and turn the power switch on your Hyvox Juicer Express to ‘|’ position.
Step 5 While the motor is running, place down the food gently onto the food chute and use food pusher to gently guide the food down the chute. Pressing the food pusher softly and gently will extract the maximum juice.

Juice will ow into the jug and the separated pulp will
accumulate in the pulp container. Do not let the pulp container
over ll. Empty the pulp container when it has accumulated
three fourth.

JUICING INSTRUCTIONS
Please follow the instructions below carefully. They contain important juicing instructions and guideslines.
Peel off the fruit or vegetables, such as orange, lemon, pineapple, kiwi, mango, pumpkin and other similar fruits and vegetables.
Fruit with small pits and seeds, such as lemon, orange, watermelon, grape, can be put into food tube for juicing. Fruit with big pits and seeds, such as nectarines, peaches, apricots, plums and cherries must be pitted before juicing.
Fruits or vegetables with caudex or leaf are suitable into the food tube. Bundle the leaves of the fruit or vegetable before putting into the food tube.
Soft food, such as banana, g not suitable for juicing. The
pulp would block the appliance and damage motor.
Fresh juice will lose its nutrition if stored out for too long. Drink soon.
Mix green vegetable juice, such as spinage, celery, with soft, sweet fruit juice, such as apple, carrot, to get sweeter juice.
When juicing variety of fruits and vegetables, it is recommended to alternate between soft and hard ingredients. For example, when juicing hard vegetable like carrot, then juice softer ones such as tomatoes.
For maximum extraction of juice always push the Food Pusher down slowly.
If you wish to include herbs, sprouts and other similar smaller leafs, wrap them in large spinach leaf or lettuce for better extraction of juice.
Please be advised that the pulp also contains some important nutrients for the daily diet and can be used in sevaral ways.

Turn the Express Juicer off and remove the pulp container.
DISASSEMBLING INSTRUCTIONS
Remove the cover by lifting upwards.
Using two hands on either sides of the locking handle, lift upwards slightly and pull back.

Hold on the side, pull upwards slightly. Do not use force. Pull gently
and rmly.
Now lift gently the
stainless stell lter
bowl. Caution: Please be cautious of the sharp blades. Remove the
lter over the sink or
bin.

You have now disambbled the Express Juicer. Clean the
Express Juicer as soon as you have nished juicing. It is quite normal to nd the pulp with certain amount of liquid. Do not
immerse the motor (main body) and power cord in water or
wet place. When cleaning the lter bowl, avoid touching the
sharp blades. Use force water to clean between the blades.

CARE AND CLEANING
Do not try to repair it. Take it to our service center if servicing is needed. There are no user serviceable parts.
Turn the power switch to ‘0’ position and unplug the appliance before cleaning.
Disassemble the appliance. Lift off the juicer tray base
with the stainless steel lter basket inside, then, turn the juicer tray base upside down and carefully remove the lter
basket.
Except the motor base, all detachable parts can be immersed in water or any other liquid.
Wash with warm soapy water and a sponge or cloth. Do not use harsh abrasives or caustic cleaners. Rinse with water thoroughly & wipe dry with cloth.
For the stainless steel lter basket, wash under running
water & brush from the inside of the basket out with the
nylon cleaning brush provided. Always handle the lter
basket with care as it can be easily damaged.
Discolouration of the plastic may occur with strongly coloured fruits and vegetables.
To help prevent this, wash the stained parts immediately after use.
Wipe the motor base with a damp sponge or paper towel.
All parts of the appliance are not dish-washer safe.
Make sure all the parts are dry enough before storing in clean and dry place.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Before contacting customer services or retail, please read the troubleshooting for self-solving.
Problem Solution
Motor stalls while
juicing.
This happens when wet pulp builds under the cover.
Progress either by cleaning or by slowing down the
juicing action by pushing the food pusher down slowly.
Express Juicer wont
turn power on.
Express Juicer is build sith safety protection system.
If the safety locking handle is not properly assembled
and locked, the machine won’t turn on. Please refer to
assembling instructions.
Pulp is too wet or
insufcient juice
extraction.
It is quite normal to have wet pulp. But if the juice
extraction is insufcient, try a slower juicing action.
Push the food pusher into the feed tube slowly and
gently.
Juice leaks between the
rim of stainless steel
lter bowl and cover.
It is possible that they have not been assembled
properly. Refer to assembling instructions and lock
rmly. This can also happen due to violent juicing
action.Try slower acion.
Motor stopped in
between juicing.
Hyvox Express Juicer has a heat protective system.
When juiced for long time continuously, the motor will
stop automatically. Turn the power off and pull the
power cord. Wait for couple of minutes and try.

What Is Not Covered This warranty does not cover any damage caused due to physical abuse of the product by misuse or use other than as intended and described in the instruction manual, or damage caused by failure to properly clean and maintain this product or damages caused by natural disaster or acts of war.
The warranty is voided if connected to any voltage or specications other
than prescribed on the product. Also, if the unit is opened for self repair, the warranty will be void for any further repair or problem analysis. The warranty may not be used if the product is served in public places such as lodging house, training centres etc. Warranty does not cover any shipping and handling charges. Hyvox Inc. deserves the right to refuse any warranty claim without any valid reasons.
What Will We Do
Should you detect any malfunction, please return the damaged product along with the purchase receipt with a brief explanation of the problem, either directly to a distributor of Hyvox products near you or to the shop you had purchased from. We will repair any defects in materials or workmanship within one year of purchase. If the defective is found un-repairable within the warranty period, Hyvox with its discretion will replace it for a new unit. However, Hyvox reserves complete rights in decision making in regards to processing the warranty, rejecting any claim without any valid reason or arranging a replacement.
