Noise Information
Measured sound values determined according to EN ISO 10517. The noise gures quoted are emission levels and are not necessarily safe working levels. Whilst there is a correlation between the emission and exposure levels, this cannot be used reliably to determine whether or not further precautions are required. Factors that inuence the actual level of exposure of work-force include the characteristics of the work room, the other sources of noise, etc.

i.e. the number of machines and other adjacent processes, and the length of time for which an operator is exposed to the noise. Also the permissible exposure level can vary from country to country. This information, however, will enable the user of the machine to make a better evaluation of the hazard and risk.
Wear hearing protection!
Vibration total values (triax vector sum) determined according to
EN ISO 10517:
The vibration emission level given in this information sheet has been measured in accordance with a EN ISO 10517 and may be used to compare one tool with another standardised test given in It may be used for a preliminary assessment of exposure. The declared vibration emission level represents the main applications of the tool. However if the tool is used for dierent applications, with dierentaccessories or poorly maintained, the vibration emission may dier. This may signicantly increase the exposure level over the total working period. An estimation of the level of exposure to vibration should also take into account the times when the tool is switched o or when it is running but not actually doing the job. This may signicantly reduce the exposure level over the total working period. Identify additional safety measures to protect the operator from the aects of vibration such as: maintain the tool and the accessories, keeping the hands warm, organise work patterns.

Please always read the instruction manual carefully and check the machine before operating.
WARNING! The hedge trimmer is tted with a two-stroke engine, so oil and fuel must be mixed. Please consult below section.
Check the cutting attachment, never use blades that are dull, cracked or damaged.Make sure the handle and safety features are in good working order. Never use a machine that has missing parts or has been modied outside it’s specications. The enclosures must be correctly tted and undamaged before you start the machine.
WARNING!
Always use saftey gloves, safety boots, ear and eye protection. They should comply with CE Mark and tested according to PPE (Person Protective Equipment) directive. Poor quality PPE may reduce user protection and result in person injury whilst using the machine.
Engine fuel
WARNING!
The hedge trimmer is tted with a two-stroke engine; use a petrol/oil fuel mixture.
Only fuel the mac hine in well-lit areas . Avoid fuel spillage. Never refuel the machine during operation. Let the engine cool down for about two minutes before refueling. Refueling mus t not be ca rried out nea r naked flames , control lamps or spa rk producing elec trical equipment such as electric tools, welders or sa nders.
1.
Make su re the mac hine is turned off, by turning the engine switch to the “off” position.
2.
C heck the fuel by a visua l che ck , remove the fuel cap and view the fuel level.
3.
F ill unleaded fuel mixed with oil from an approved fuel container into the fuel tank, plea se fill the tank to the neck of tank only.
4.
Turn the fuel cap clockwise to assembly it in position.
WAR NING.
Do not refill fuel while engine is running or hot.
Make sure fuel is not lea king from the rear outlet tube.
Use quality two-stroke oil and make a mixture of 40 parts petrol to one part oil only.
Never use two-stroke oil intended for water-cooled engines. Never use oil intended for four-stroke engines.
A poor oil quality and/or too high oil/fuel ratio may jeopa rdise function and decrease the life time of catalytic converters.
Shake the container well to obtain a correc t mixture before filling the tank.
