IF NOT USED PROPERLY THIS MACHINE CAN BE DANGEROUS!
This machine can cause serious injury to the operator and others, the warning and safety instructions must be followed to ensure reasonable safety and efficiency in using this product. The operator is responsible for following the warning and safety instructions in this manual and on the machine. Never use the product unless the fixing screws or guards are correctly positioned.
DESIGNED FOR DOMESTIC USE ONLY.
The Lawnmo wer are designed f or use in private gardens , whose annual use does not generally exceed 50 hours and that are primarily used for tending LAWN & GRASS AREA, but not in public facilit ies, parks or spor ts groun ds and n ot f or agricult ural or forestry use. Compliance with this manual supplied by the manufacturer is a prerequisite for the proper usage of the machine. The operating manual contains servicing and maintenance instructions as well as directions for use.
TRAINING
Read the instructions carefully: Be familiar with the controls and the proper use of t he equipment. Never allow children or people unfamiliar with these instructions to use the product. Local regulations can restrict the age of the operator. Never operate while p eople, especiall y children, or pets are nearby. Keep in mind that the operator or user is responsible for accidents or hazards involving the machine that occur to other people or their property.
GENERAL SAFETY I NS TRUCTIONS
It is important that you read and understand the owner’s manual and labels affixed to the machine. Learn its application and limitations as well as the specific potential hazards. Retain these instructions for future reference. The operator is responsible for following the warnings & instructions in this manual and on the product.
Read & understand operator’s manual before using the machine. Failure to follow instructions could result in death or serious injury.
Beware of sharp blades - remove plug from mains before maintenance or if cord is damaged.
Keep all bystanders & animals at least 15 meters away from the machine during operation. If approached, stop the machine immediately.
Keep Supply flexible cord away from cutting means.
IPX4 WEEE symbol. Waste electrical products should not be
disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your local authority or local store for recycling advice.

STAY ALERT
Do not operate the machine while under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or any medication that could affect your ability to use it properly. Do not use thi s m ac hine when you are t ired or distracted from the job at hand. Be aware of what you are doin g at all tim es. Use common sense.
AVOID DANGEROUS CONDITIONS
Make sure there is adequate surrounding workspace. Clutter ed areas invite injuries. Keep your work area clean with sufficient light. Keep the area around the machine c lear of obstructions, grease, oil, rubbish and other debris which could cause persons to fall onto moving parts.
INSPECT YOUR MACHINE
Check all bolts, nuts, and screws for tightness before eac h use, especially those securing guards and drive mec hanisms. Vibration during use, may cause these to loos en. Form a habit of checki ng that all other tools/equipment are removed from the working area before turning it on. Replace damaged, missing or failed parts before using it. Warning labels carr y important information. Replace a ny missing or damaged warning labels.
DRESS PROPERLY
Do not wear loose clothing, gloves, scarfs, neckties or jewellery (rings, wrist watches), which can be caught in moving parts. Protective electr ically non-cond uctive gloves and non-skid heav y­duty footwear are highly recommended when working. Wear a face or dust mask if the operation is dusty. Always wear safety glasses/goggles and/or face shields. Everyday eyeglasses have only impact r esistant lenses; they are not safety glass es/goggles. Wear protective hair covering to contain long hair, preventing it from getting caught. Suitable safety hearing protection is also recommended.
NEVER LEAVE MACHINE RUNNING UNATTENDED
Do not leave the machine unattended until it ha s come to a complete stop.
AVOID ELECTRICAL SHOCK
Check that the electric circuit is adequately protected and that it corresponds with t he power, voltage and frequency of the motor. Check that there is a ground conn ect ion & a re gulat ion d if f erent ial switch further up the circuit. Ground the machine. Prevent body contact with grounded surfaces: pipes, radiators, ranges, and refrigerator enclosures. Never open the pushbutton box on the
motor. Should this be necessary, contact a qualified electrician. Make sure your fingers do not touch the plug’s metal prongs when plugging or unplugging the machine.
KEEP BYSTANDERS AND CHILDREN AWAY
Keep unauthorised persons a minimum distance of 15metres away from the machine. If approached, stop the machine immediately. Do not allow children to handle the machine.
DO NOT OVERREACH
Keep proper footing and balance at all times when using the machine. Serious inj ury could occur if the m achine is tipped or if the moving parts ar e uni ntent ionall y co ntac ted. Do not st ore it ems above or near the machine, where anyone might stand on the machine to reach them.
AVOID INJURY FROM UNEXPECTED ACCIDENT
Keep hands & feet out of the way of all moving parts. Do not place an y part of your bod y or an y tool e.g. in the m achine dur ing operation.
DO NOT FORCE TOOL
Always work within the rated capacity. Do not use the machi ne for a purpose for which it was not intended.
MAINTAIN YOUR MACHINE WITH CARE
Clean the machine im m ediately after use. Keep the machine clean to ensure it operates to its full & safest performance. When maintaining, only the manufactur er ’s original replacement parts should be used. The use of non-original manufact urer parts may invalidate your warranty.
PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT
Take left over m aterials to an authoris ed collection poi nt or follo w the stipulations in the count ry where the machine is used. Do not discharge into drains, soil or water.
STORE IDLE EQUIPMENT
When not in use, th e machine should be stored in a dr y location. Keep the machine a way from children and oth ers not qualified to use it.
PREPARATION
1. Always wear appropriate footwear, such as work boots, and
trousers when operating the machine. Do not operate the equipment when baref oot or wearing open sandals. Al ways wear safety goggles or s afety glasses with side shiel ds when operat ing the product.
2. Thoroughly inspect the area where the product is to be used
&remove all objects which can be thrown by the machine.
3. Before using, always visually inspect to see that the blades,
blade bolts and cutter assembly are not worn or damaged. Replace worn or damaged blades and bolts in sets to preserve balance.
4.
Only use accessories approved by the manufacturer.
5.
Do not operate the machine while under the influence of
alcohol or drugs.
6.
Never operate the machine whilst on wet surfaces. This
could cause you to slip while using.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
1. Power plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in
any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs & matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.
2. Avoid unintentional starting. Always check that the switch is
in the Off position before plugging in the product to the power supply. Do not carry a plugged-in product with your finger on the switch.
3. Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces,
such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
4. Do not expose to rain or wet conditions.
5. Water entering an appliance will increase the risk of electric
shock.
6. Electrical power should be supplied via a residual current
device (RCD) wit h a tripping curr ent o f not m ore th an 30 mA.
7.Before use, check the supply and extension cord for signs of damage or aging. If the cord becomes damaged during use, disconnect the c o r d from the supply immediately. Do not touch the cord before disconnecting the supply. Do not
use the product if the cord is damaged or worn.
8. If you need to use an extension cable, ensure it is suitable for
outdoor use and has a current capacity rating, sufficient to supply your product. Check it before every use for damage, always uncoil it completely, prior to use, because coiled cables can overheat. Inadequate extension cables can be dangerous. Extension cable, plug and socket must be of watertight construction and intended for outdoor use.
9.
Damaged extension cables should not be repaired; they
should be replaced with an equivalent type.
10.
Make sure the power cable is positioned so that it cannot be damaged by the cutting blade & will not be stepped on, tripped over or otherwise subjected to damage or stress.
11.
Never pick up or carry the product by the electric cable.
12. Never pull by the power cord to disconnect from the power supply.
13. Keep the power cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges.
14. Make sure voltage is correct for your product. A nameplate on the product indicates the product’s voltage. Never connect the product to an AC voltage that differs from this voltage.
15. Always ensure the cord from the handlebar to the mower body is never trapped, pinched or otherwise damaged during assembly or handle folding. Never apply power to the mower if this cable is damaged. Return to authorised service centre for professional repair.
OPERATION
1. Only operate in daylight or in good artificial light.
2.
Avoid operating the equipment in wet conditions.
3.
Always be sure of your footing on slopes. Exercise extreme
caution when changing direction on slopes.
4.
Never run while handling the machine, always walk.
5. Use extreme caution when reversing or pulling the product
towards you.
6. Stop the blade(s) if the machine needs transporting to & from
the working area.
7.
Never operate the product with defective guards, or without
safety devices, i.e. deflectors and/or grass catchers, in place.
8.
Do not put hands/feet near moving parts.
9. Stop the motor and disconnect the electrical plug from the
power source:

before clearing blockages or unclogging the blades;
· before checking, cleaning or working on the machine;
