Important safeguards

• Do not hit or drop the unit.
• Do not expose the unit to vibration, direct sunlight, too high or low temperature or humidity.
• Do not disassemble the unit yourself. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
• When the battery is exhausted, it should be removed from the set to prevent leakage.
Power supply
Power source
This unit is operated by a 3.7 V, 1800 mA/h rechargeable lithium-ion battery of 18650 type (included) or by connecting the power input DC5V of this unit to a power source with the supplied MiniUSB cable.
Battery installation
Remove the battery compartment cover. Follow the polarity to install the supplied lithium-ion battery. Close the battery compartment cover.
• Be sure that the battery is installed
correctly.
• If the unit is not to be used for an extended period of time, remove the battery to prevent damage or injury from possible battery leakage.
• Do not dispose of the battery in fire, the battery may explode or leak.
• The rechargable lithium-ion battery is

General operations
Power on/off
Press and hold / button to switch the unit on; the display will light up. To switch the unit off, press and hold this button again.
Headphone socket
For private listening please insert the earphones (not included) into the headphone jack (the speaker inside the radio disconnects automatically), now you can listen to the radio by earphones.
Clock
Press / button shortly. When clock is displayed, press and hold SET button, hour digits will blink. Press repeatedly / buttons to set hours. Press SET button again; minute digits will blink. Press repeatedly /
buttons to set minutes.
AUX input
You can connect the audio output of an external device to this unit, to listen to the sound of that device through the speakers of this unit.
• To connect an external audio device,
please use a standard audio cable with
3.5-mm-to-3.5 mm plugs to connect the headphone out or audio line-out of the external device to the AUX input socket of this unit.
• Press repeatedly M button to select AUX
mode; AUX and LINE will be displayed.
• Turn on the external device. You cannot

control playback with the buttons of this unit except adjusting the volume.
Volume
Rotate VOL regulator to adjust the sound volume level.
Radio operation
• Radio is only available when no USB, memory card or external audio source is connected.
• Press shortly / button to start automatic search and saving of all available stations in the memory. The frequency and the memory position number will flash on the display. The device can hold in memory up to 40 stations.
• To select saved stations press / buttons repeatedly.
• To tune the radio manually press and hold SET button and search using the volume regulator. To save the station press and hold button. The memory position number will flash on the display. Press and hold button to confirm.
• To switch off the radio, press MODE button.
Bluetooth operation
Press and hold M button to enter bluetooth mode. Switch on bluetooth on your external device and select H-PS1203B. Now you can listen to music from your player/cellphone through the unit.
