ENGINE
START
STOP
LOCK – Press to lock all doors and arm alarm.
Turn signal lights will blink once.
UNLOCK – Press once to disarm alarm and
unlock driver’s door. Turn signal lights will blink twice. Press again within four seconds to unlock all doors.
TRUNK UNLOCK – Press and hold to
unlock trunk lid.
PANIC – Press and hold to activate horn
and  ashing lights. Press again to turn o panic mode.
SMART KEY ENTRY
CHANGING IGNITION SWITCH MODES
With the ignition OFF push the Engine Start Stop:
Once for ACC (Accessory) mode.
Twice for ON mode.
 ree times for OFF.
To start the engine in any mode (including OFF) push the Engine Start Stop button while pressing the brake pedal.
To shut the engine OFF place transmission in PARK and push the Engine Start Stop button again.

POWER FRONT SEAT ADJUSTMENT
To raise headrest height pull up on headrest.
To lower headrest press lock knob while pushing down on headrest.
To adjust headrest forward or backward slide headrest forward or push back.
FRONT HEADREST ADJUSTMENT
LOCK VEHICLE WITH THE DOOR HANDLE BUTTON: Press the button on the Front Outside
Door Handles with all doors (and trunk) closed.
UNLOCK VEHICLE WITH THE DOOR HANDLE BUTTON: Press the button on the
Front Outside Door Handles with all doors
(and trunk) closed.
AUTOMATIC DOOR LOCKING/UNLOCKING
Your Hyundai is equipped with a feature that will automatically lock all doors when driving. See your authorized Hyundai dealer to con gure this feature.
NOTE: If you are unable to unlock vehicle with
the proximity key, the mechanical key may be used to open driver’s side door and trunk.
DOOR ENTRY
For your convenience your vehicle is equipped with a Smart Key holder. Use the Smart Key holder for safe placement of the Smart Key when driving or to start the vehicle if the battery in the Smart Key malfunctions.
To insert the Smart Key into the Smart Key holder push it in until you feel it “engage”.
To remove the Smart Key from the Smart Key holder push in and take it out.
If you leave the Smart key in the Smart Key holder when the ignition is pushed to LOCK and the driver door is open:
A repetitive beep tone will sound.
 e Smart Key removal indicator will illuminate
on the display inside the instrument cluster.

Seatbelt should be adjusted to lie across your chest, midway over the shoulder nearest to the door and not your neck.
To raise height adjustment push up on height adjuster.
To lower height adjustment press and hold height adjustment button and push down.
NOTE: Moving height adjuster quickly may
cause seat belt retractor to engage.
Whenever operating your vehicle, make sure that you and your occupants are properly secured with seatbelts. Small children should always ride in the rear seat in an appropriate child restraint system (see the Owner’s Manual for child safety details).
If driver’s seatbelt is not fastened when ignition key is pushed to ON or START position, the seatbelt reminder light will blink and a warning chime will sound to remind the driver to fasten seatbelt.

MIRROR ADJUSTMENT To Adjust Left or Right Mirror: 1 Move selector

REVERSE PARKING ASSIST FUNCTION (if equipped)
When the vehicle is placed in Reverse, the outside rearview mirror(s) will rotate downward.  e outside rearview mirror(s) rotate downward as follows:

both outside rearview mirrors rotate downward. When selector

switch is moved to the right, only the passenger’s outside rearview mirror rotates downward.

switch is moved to the center, rotation of the mirrors is cancelled.
NOTE:  e outside rearview mirror(s) will
automatically revert to their original positions when the Ignition switch is in the LOCK position, the Shi lever is moved to any position except Reverse, or when the selector

switch is
placed in the center position.

To tilt Steering Wheel move switch up or down.
To telescope Steering Wheel move switch forward or backward.
NOTE: Do not adjust steering wheel
while driving.
POWER ADJUSTABLE STEERING WHEEL (if equipped)
Store and recall the driver seat, outside rearview mirror and steering wheel positions.
1 Place vehicle in Park with the ignition ON.
2 Adjust the driver seat, outside rearview
mirror(s) and steering wheel to a comfortable position.
3 Press SET button until a beep is heard and
then press memory button 1 or 2 within 5 seconds.  e system will beep twice when memory has been successfully stored.
Recalling Seat Positions
With vehicle in Park, press the desired memory button (1 or 2).
INTEGRATED MEMORY SYSTEM (if equipped)
To open Window press switch down.
To close Window li switch up.
Window Lock Out Switch
To disable Passenger Power Windows press window lock switch. To enable Passenger Power Windows press window lock switch a second time.
