RF Exposure Compliance and
Control Guidelines and Operating
Instruct ions
To control your exposure and ensure complia nce with
the occupa tional/controlled environment exposure
limits a lways adhe re to the following pr oce dure s.
Guidelines:
· Do not remove the RF Exposure La bel from the
device .
· Use r awa re ness instructions should acc ompany
device when transfer red to other users.
· Do not use this device if the operational
requirements descr ibed here in are not met.
Oper ating Instructions:
· Tr ansmit no more than the rate d duty f ac tor of
50% of the time. To transmit (ta lk), push the Push-
To-Talk (PTT) button. To rec eive c alls, relea se
the PTT button. Transmitting 50% of the time, or
less, is important beca use the radio gener ate s
measurable RF e nergy only when transmitting (in
terms of measuring for standar ds compliance) .
· Ke ep the radio unit a t least 2.5 c m away fr om the
fac e. Ke eping the radio at the pr oper distanc e is
important as RF exposure dec re ase s with distance
from the antenna. The antenna should be kept
awa y from the face and e yes.
· W hen worn on the body, a lways place the radio in
a Hytera -a pprove d holder, holster, case, or body
harne ss or by use of the cor rec t clip f or this
product. Use of non-approved ac ce ssories may
result in e xposure leve ls which excee d the FCC's
occupational/controlled environmental RF
exposure limits.
· Use of non-a pprove d antenna s, batteries, and
accessories cause s the r adio to excee d the FCC
RF exposur e guidelines.
· Contact your local dea ler for the produc t's optional
accessories.
