TECHNICAL DATA SHEET – HPC 34 NU-SIL® WB
DESCRIPTION:
Nu-Sil® WB is a unique, clear, hydrophobic Water bourne
Silane/Polysiloxane blend. Nu-Sil® WB Cures to form a
permanent water repellent but vapour permeable layer
that inhibits the ingress of water, chloride and sulphate
ions. Nu-Sil® WB gives excellent protection against
weathering.
ADVANTAGES:
Nu-Sil® WB. will not noticeably change the appearance of
the substrate. Due to its excellent stain resistant and water
repellent qualities, dirt, pollution can be removed from the
treated surface. Nu-Sil® WB gives long life environmental
protection. Nu-Sil® WB protects from the effects of De-icing
and freeze/thaw cycle. Nu-Sil® WB will reduce Alkali Silica
Reactions, therefore eliminating silica dusting. Nu-Sil® WB
has rapid drying and low odour. Nu-Sil® WB has
outstanding resistance to weathering and ultra-violet
degradation. Nu-Sil® WB Complies with the Highway
Agency Design Manual for Roads and Bridges BD 43/03
requirements for impregnating concrete. Satisfies Class’0’
requirements of current Building Regulation.
USES:
Nu-Sil® WB is an economical alternative to solvent based
silanes. For use on brickwork, concrete, natural stone,
reconstructed stone, blockwork, marble, terrazzo.
Nu-Sil® WB can be used on the following:
Highway Structures, Bridges, Paving, Garage Forecourts, Car
Parks, Natural Stone, Brickwork, Concrete Tiles.
COLOUR:
Milky white. Dries colourless after application.

DRYING TIMES
Touch Dry 1-2 hours
Fully Cure 5 Days
Over coat with Nu-Cryl AG with in 2 weeks if needed

Supplied in 5, 25, 200, 1000 litres
PREPARATION:
Ensure surface to be treated are clean. free from
contamination and dry. Dry brush blow with compressed air
to remove dust or loose particles.
APPLICATION:
Application by low pressure spray or by brush/roller taking
care to avoid any sagging. Application on vertical surfaces
should be to full saturation commencing at the bottom and
working upwards. One application is normally required,
however, on porous substrates a second application may be
required.
Apply the second application in the same manner
immediately after the first application, taking care not to
allow the first application to dry out.
Do not apply at temperatures below 5°C.
Shake container well before use.
EQUIPMENT CARE:
All equipment should be cleaned with water immediately
after use.
STORAGE:
Store away from direct sunlight and sources of heat.
Protect from frost.
SHELF LIFE:
12 months (in original sealed container).
