Operation Instructions

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified
person in order to avoid a hazard.

RULES FOR SAFE OPERATION
1. Never insert fingers, pencils, or any other object through the grille when fan is running.
2. Disconnect fan when moving from one location to another.
3. Disconnect fan when removing grilles for cleaning.
4. Be sure fan is on a stable surface when operating to avoid overturning.
5. DO NOT get the fan wet; it may create an electrical safety hazard.
ASSEMBLY OF BLADE AND GRILLES
1. Unscrew the spinner clockwise and the nut counter-
clockwise then remove both of them.
2. Set the rear grille in the proper position with handle
up.
3. Screw on plastic nut tightly to attach rear grille.
4. Discard PVC sleeve on motor shaft.
5. Install the blade onto the motor shaft until it reaches
the retaining pin.
6. Screw spinner on to motor shaft counter clockwise.
7. Unscrew the locking screw mounted on the rear grille.
Mount front grille onto rear grille with the small round
holes on the top matched for the passage of locking
screw. Fix both grilles with clips and then use screw driver to tighten the locking screw.
ASSEMBLY OF BASE
1. Detach screw from base of the fan.
2. Match locking lug to base.
3. Tighten the screw from the base to lock the fan and base.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. To make / stop the fan head oscillate, push down / pull the clutch knob.
2. To adjust the airflow upwards or downwards, simply loosen the Swivel Adjustment Knob and move to
desired angle then firmly tighten the Swivel Adjustment Knob.
3. Speed is controlled by depressing the piano keys.
4. Plug the power supply cord into a wall outlet.
CLEANING
1. Ensure that you do not allow water or any other liquid to enter the motor whilst cleaning.
2. Plastic parts should be cleaned with mild soap and a damp cloth or sponge.
3. To disassemble each part, reverse the order assembly.

Plug Replacement
1. The appliance must be connected to a 240 volts AC supply by means of a three pin socket.
2. The appliance is supplied with a rewireable 13 amp 3 pin plug fitted with a 3 amp fuse. Should the fuse
require replacement, it must be replaced with a fuse rated at 3 amp and approved to BS1362.
3. If the mains plug is unsuitable for the socket outlet in your home or is removed for any other reason, then
the cut off plug should be disposed of safely to prevent the hazard of electric shock.
4. There is a danger of electric shock if the cut off plug is inserted into any 13 amp socket outlet.
The wires in the mains lead on this appliance are coloured in accordance with the following code:
Green and Yellow – Earth
Blue – Neutral
Brown – Live
As the colours may not correspond with the markings identifying the terminals in your plug proceed as follows.
1. The green and yellow wire must be connected to the terminal in the plug which is marked with the letter E or
with the earth symbol or coloured green and yellow.
2. The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked N or coloured black.
3. The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked L or coloured red.

1. This product is CE marked to denote conformity with Directives 73/23/EEC (Low Voltage) and 89/336/EEC
(Electromagnetic Compatibility), as amended.
2. Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where
facilities exist. Check with your Local Authority or retailer for recycling advice.
