10 inches in diameter and a maximum

Ball bearings are used throughout and
moving parts are immersed in oil, assur
ing
long life.

assures abundant power for grinding
within the specified range of the machine.
Change speed gears afford three dif
ferent traversing and revolving speeds.
The stroke of the machine is variable
between 5 inches and 27 inches, quickly
and easily adjusted by means of stops
located on horizontal reversing bar on
lop of the body of the machine. These
stops automatically reverse the direction
of travel of spindle at each end of the
stroke. However, a manually operated
lever permits reversal of spindle at any
point of travel or throwing clutch into
neutral permitting grinder to dwell at
any point desired in the work to remove
high spots.
A kerosene coolant reservoir of 35
gallons capacity is built into the table
and a filter, circulating pump and motor
furnish a liberal supply of clean, cool
coolant.
This machine when used with the
proper Hutto grinder will enable the
operator to maintain the closest possible
accuracy limits for straight and round
cylinders. The amount of production is
of course directly related to the diameter
and length of the cylinder bore, the
material and amount of stock necessary
to remove.
