especially designed for the most
efficient operation of Hutto cylinder
grinders in automobile factories where
production demands are not excessive,
in aeroplane rnoLor factories, in fac
tories engaged in the manufacture of
iceless refrigeration
pressors, small marine engines and
outboard motors, farm light systems,
bushings, inner bearing races, as well
as modern service shops handling a
large amount of cylinder grinding.
The best grade of gray iron castings
and special steel arc used and all
machine work is done by the most
modern equipment and methods.
Abundant power within the range of
the machine is furnished by a vertical
motor under instant control of the
operator by means of a START-
INCH-STOP Allen Bradley switch.
The head may be raised or lowered
by a hand crank, rack and pinion, and
easily locked
height. Two cam operated clamps hold
the work in position on the table
eliminating necessity of special hold-
fixtures on most standard work.

The spindle is telescoped to permit
the raising of the grinder out of the
bore. The table contains a kerosene
reservoir of forty-five gallons capacity
and a motor driven circulating pump
and filler provide a copious supply of
clean, cool kerosene.

A reciprocation speed reduction
attachment can be furnished
equipment which produces a high
polish on the cylinder walls by reduc
ing the speed of reciprocations during
the final grinding cut. This attach
ment is very essential for the proper
grinding of steel aeroplane cylinders,
steel bearing races and similar work
requiring a high finish.
