operating room ambient temp. of 65 ºF
(18 ºC)/50 % RHto 90 ºF(32 ºC)/65%
RH. Their Performance is affected by store
air currents when the doorsare open.Do
Not allow air conditioning, electric fans ,
or opened doors and windows to create air
currents around these merchandisers nor
should they be exposed to direct sunlight
or other heat sources.

2.1 CABINET PREPARATION BEFORE OPERATION
Leveling Cabinet
This merchandiser mustbeinstalled
leveled (from back and end to end) to
allow maximun draining of the condensate
water as well as proper door aligment and
operation.
The merchandiserhas been shipped with
adjustable cabinet levelers installed and

After the cabinet has been leveled and is in
itsfinalposition,the shelves maybe
installed. There are two differents shelves,
one of them isa solid shelf, this must be
placed on the botton next to theback.
Others shelves maybeinstalled, Shelf
spacing is adjustableby positioning the
shelfclipsaccording to your loading
requirements.

2.1 CABINET PREPARATION
FOR OPERATION
Door Seal
Hinge doors . Check to ensure the door
torque is capable of closing the door
automatically. Open the door45
and relase it , the door should close and
seal.
To adjust the torque,placeawrench on
each of the2 nuts located on the botton
hinge. Hold the top wrench firmly and lose

Lamps
This merchandiser does not have Lighting
switch,Interior lamps are eqipped with a
plastic shield,besure the shield is
installed properly.
All uprightmerchandisersare equipped
withahermetic or semi-hermetic
compressor. The condenser is fin and tube
construction. The air is takenin the frontdown of the cabinet and discharged out by
the front down of the cabinet .(see fig.1)
The temperature control is located inside

the first day, after that , they will work

5.1 STARTUP /OPERATION
Temperature control
The temperature control is located on the
condensing unit on the wall, For these
merchandisers the control set at number 4
position will mantain product temparature
in a range of 36 ºF to 42 ºF(2.2ºC to 5.5
ºC) .
The control is adjustableby runinig the
dial one number at clockwise to obtain
colder temperatures.Turn it
counterclockwise to obtain warmer
temparatures.

Electrical Supply
WARNING
Equipment MUST be
GROUNDED!
Wiring of the unit iscomplete when it is
shipped form the factory.The unit is
suppliedwith a three conductor electrical
cord wich extends from the rear of the
unit. Plug the unit into correct grounded
outlet. It is recommendedthat a separate
circuitbe run for each cabinet to prevent
the posibility of another appliance blowing
Lighting
Interior light and lighted sign remain on
all time. An electronic ballast is locate on
the top or on condensing unit.
Defrost Water Evaporation
External drain plumbing is not required .
Behind the cooling unit housing cover ,
there is a tray for gathering and directing
defrost water from the evaporator coil to
a fuse, causing subsequent loss of product.

reservoir for the storage of the water until
it is evaporatoredby a hot gasloop from
the compressor.
