Here it is: your very own Hussh hanging cradle. There’s quite a chance you’re going to be rather pleased with this absolute dream of a baby’s bed. Because it’s a little different from the others, made with particularly personal care and so very, very comfy. The cradle is ‘handmade’ by Dutch hands. This makes each cradle truly unique. Small imperfections and deviations demonstrate the individuality of each product. However, should the cradle not live up to your expectations, do not hesitate to let us know!
Before assembling the hanging cradle, please check if you have all the parts listed below.
Hanging cradle items: 1 cotton cradle
1 mattress with integrated bottom board 2 long rods 2 short rods 1 spring including 1 safety line 4 suspension ropes 1 hardware set: 4 carbine harnesses (6 cm long), 4 carriage bolts, 4 eye nuts, 4 ‘adjusting eights’.
Swinging hook set (optional order): 1 swinging hook + plug Heavenly canopy items (accessory):1 canopy with 1 carbine harness
Warning!
Read the product conditions prior to use on www.hussh-cradles.com Use of the spring: the spring must be used under normal conditions. The manufacturer understands ‘normal’ not to include turning/twisting or a sudden offload (discharge) of the spring. Consequently, children should never be allowed to play with the cradle and/or the spring. Always use the spring with the attached safety line.
Hoe to suspend the hanging cradle from the ceiling
The hanging cradle is suspended from a swinging hook in the ceiling. This hook can be screwed directly into a wooden beam (after predrilling). If you have a concrete ceiling, use the plug. Test the safety of your construction and make sure the hook can hold quite its share of weight! Note: when screwing in the hook do not use much force as this can weaken the hook.

How to assemble the hanging cradle
For good-looking results, please take your time assembling the cradle. This is especially important when determining the required rope length, as well as when adjusting the level of the cradle so that it is truly horizontal. If your infant gains weight, or starts to sleep at the foot (or head) of the bed, adjust the ropes accordingly so the cradle hangs horizontally once more.
We recommend you iron the cradle (cotton) and heavenly canopy (linen) before assembling the hanging cradle, preferably with a steam iron.
If you feel the cradle is too close to the ceiling (or if your ceiling is tall), attach an extra piece of rope between the swinging hook and the spring, thereby enabling you to lower the cradle to the desired height. It is possible to order a separate piece of rope with an extra carbine harness for this purpose.
When you put your infant to bed, we recommend you tuck the blanket or duvet neatly under the mattress, so it stays level.
Enough text: time to assemble a lovely place for sleeping. Good luck! We wish your baby many wonderful sleeping hours.
